  3. Narrator: Hallo DNA-chan.
  4. Narrator: Never doing that again.
  5. DNA: I concur.
  6. Narrator: Why are we the only ones?
  7. DNA: Not sure, honestly. I've been working on my Adversaries & Allies example for you so I've been semi-boxed up today.
  8. Narrator: I took a nap.
  9. Narrator: It was a gweat nap
  10. DNA: I'm moderately jealous.

  14. Narrator: So she's rectifying that atm.
  15. Narrator: Dunno about Grace but I'm assuming it's roommate issues.
  16. Narrator: Robbu already said he'd be late and his hotspot may not even work out in the cabins.
  17. DNA: His hotspot has been known to work, so there is a non-zero chance he'll be here.
  18. Narrator: Known to work 'in the city'.

  30. Ben has connected.
  31. Narrator: *gasps*
  32. Narrator: I'm gonna get my headphones.
  33. Actinidia: So we have proven that I can play while on a mobile hotspot on a freeway. I think we're going to be good.
  34. DNA: This is oddly beautiful.
  35. Narrator: So looks like Ava'll be a moment coming into the server from her laptop.
  36. Narrator: I'll go ahead and start us off.
  37. DNA: O.K.

  52. Narrator: She missed the WHOLE THING.
  53. Narrator: Just because the weather has been shit to Robbu since the start of the session, it'll be sunny on the 26th.
  54. Narrator: I'm not making it sunny, but I'm telling it is. :P

  77. Narrator: The opening reminds me SO MUCH of the Terminator.
  78. DNA: RIGHT YEAH, THAT
  79. DNA: Floor plans! I have those, right?

  84. Avara: we couldn't find any.
  85. DNA: That means...I need to hunt for them?
  86. Narrator: More or less.
  87. * Actinidia is coiled up around her eggs.
  88. DNA: Okay, does that involve talking to people, or does it involve making checks?
  89. Narrator: Considering you have a trusting relationship currently with your gang, just talking to them works.
  90. DNA: Gang being the party, or the Dunsparce snake gang?
  91. Narrator: Latter.
  92. Avara: did a good job on that speech. they like us right now.
  93. Pierce Mars Oswell: Mars finds a moment to approach the Dunsparce, who served well as their go-between. "Do you know if you found or discovered any floor plans for this place? The more thorough you can find, the better. I want to see what I can do for security measures."
  94. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) raises up slowly and flicks his wings underneath his head, as if scratching his chin, "Hm. We've only uncovered overview plans of the perimeter. Pretty much detailing only the surface outer layers and the first floor of the interior. We can give you those but anything beyond that may have been kept magically locked away? In those human light boxes they always stared at. Maybe even the tiny ones."
  95. Pierce Mars Oswell: "That'll be a start, at least. Do you know where the light boxes are?"
  96. Hjadvir (The Father): "I'll be sure someone brings you those plans. Was there anything else I could assist you with?"
  97. Hjadvir (The Father): "Well, considering none of us could operate or read them, we moved them all into one of the underground areas. I'll have Janet show you where."
  98. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Hmm... Did you have any supply routes for new food and water that you were using before? If we are to use this as a base, we'll need some sort of input, or grow our food and get our water internally."
  99. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Janet? Remind me who that is?"
  100. Hjadvir (The Father): "The quiet Snivy. We have hunting and raiding parties that sometimes the Onyx would partake in."
  101. Pierce Mars Oswell: "So...just predation right now. Are there any nearby rivers? Or perhaps soil?"
  102. Hjadvir (The Father): "There's the dirt all around the building that isn't covered by roadway. The grass itself is likely artificial but the soil beneath it is real. I dig through it sometimes. And well, yeah, predation. It's sort of what brought us all together in the beginning. A self-sustaining source of food would keep people from being on edge and help create a real sense of community."
  103. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Then one of the first orders of business will be to get that soil cultivated. We might also need to dam or redirect a river outside so it runs just outside or even right through here. You know where the sewers come from?"
  104. Hjadvir (The Father): "We're all snakes. Cultivating soil is just us running around through it." Hjadvir (The Father) chuckled, "But the water outside? Yeah, I know of it. You want us to break the ground around it and have it spray all over?"
  105. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I was thinking more of a controllable stream, then you could probably set it for irrigation from there.
  106. Hjadvir (The Father): "I was actually jesting, my lord." Hjadvir (The Father) said bowing his head, "But we can do both. But not both at the same time. Which would you have us do first?"
  107. Actinidia: "The reflection pond out there I'd leave be. It's holding still water, which is valauble to gather in rainy days like this. We should look into run-off drainage pipes and how to make them flow where we want."
  108. Actinidia: "Wait, that's not the reflection pond, that's near the lincoln memorial..." Actinidia was confused a moment.
  109. Hjadvir (The Father): "We could build more ponds if you want. That would be an easy task for the newborns."
  110. Actinidia: "Ponds would be good. We don't want floods, which breaking some of these pipes or pools might do, but controlled pools of water that fill during rains would work us wonders."
  111. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Part of me wants to somehow steal a piece of the Potomac off, but that'll be incredibly difficult and potentially disastrous..."
  112. Hjadvir (The Father): "When we have another hatching phase I'll have them get right on that. That'll give you time to decide where you want them."
  113. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) shuddered a bit, "...So, I gather you were humans before this but most of us, namely myself here, weren't. So when you say things like that I'm not certain what you're referring to..."
  114. Actinidia: "I appologize."
  115. Hjadvir (The Father): "So, which would you like to be tackled first? The soil or the water?"
  116. Actinidia: "Water. We can live without soil, we can't live without water. The soil doesn't matter until we have something to plant in it."
  117. Actinidia: "That's my vote, at least." Actinidia turned to Mars to confirm.
  118. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I agree with her, yeah. Water is on top of the list for survival. Then security, then soil."
  119. Actinidia: "We need to find a grocer or hardware store or greenhouse or dollar store... anywhere that would have seeds to plant."
  120. Hjadvir (The Father): "You have many tasks ahead that require many people." Hjadvir (The Father) nodded.
  121. Hjadvir (The Father): "Perhaps you'd like to order a breeding night? In a few days there'd be more hands to help create the vision you have."
  122. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'm not sure that would be necessary. Don't we already have something like 30 here?"
  123. Actinidia: "Recognizing a store will have to be up to former humans. We can't read the letters but we'll understand symbols."
  124. Actinidia: "Breeding night?" Actinidia repeated.
  125. Hjadvir (The Father): "With Lyrica leaving that'll be 44. Myself included. Not including your group."
  126. Actinidia: "Is breeding night... voluntary? I don't want to order anyone to breed."
  127. Hjadvir (The Father): "It'll be as voluntary as you decide. It'll be effecient to gain as many eggs as possible. Especially if we lose any people on any raids we send out. It's dangerous out there, even if you aren't hunting."
  128. Hjadvir (The Father): "But I've given you enough to think about. Any decisions you have just let Janet know and she can relay it to me once she's done assisting you. I'll get our snakes on the task of creating a stream from the water system."
  129. Actinidia: "Our goal isn't just efficiency or survival, it is happiness of our population. This might just be a human thing, but we are slow breeders who take parenthood very seriously. Forcing someone to breed against their will is one of the worst crimes in human culture."
  130. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Right. I need to get the maps and stuff from Janet. That's right."
  131. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Do you know where I can find her right now?"
  132. Actinidia: Actinidia folded her arms and paced the floor.
  133. Hjadvir (The Father): "To some extent I can understand that." Hjadvir (The Father) nods, "But when our numbers dwindle, you may reconsider. Strength in numbers isn't a myth."
  134. Hjadvir (The Father): "I'll go get her. She's likely wading around somewhere outside. She tends to keep to herself. I'll excuse myself before I shove my tail any deeper into my throat."
  135. Hjadvir (The Father): Hjadvir (The Father) bows slightly and slithers out of the room to excuse himself and set out on the duties you've set.
  136. Actinidia: Actinidia looked to her own eggs and sighed.
  137. * Pierce Mars Oswell glances towards Actinidia, but she's deep in thought so she doesn't say anything yet.
  138. Actinidia: "... We said a lot of pretty words. I don't want to betray them. Even if it's hard, I don't want to force anything. Incentivise maybe, but..."

  146. Actinidia: "Yes. But that rhetoric doesn't answer all the questions. It's good to have a mission, but we also need policies."

  189. DNA: Also that.
  190. Grace Leonhardt: Sounds about right
  191. Narrator whispers: You immediately notice that the plans handed to you are the plans used by humans and just from where you can pinpoint where your group entered in from that the gates of the perimeter aren't even standing now in the same sense of the plans. The perimeter is roughly smaller than what the plans say - from how the debris was set up around it. Additionally, you can't read any words on the plans. 279. Etna: "You weren't going to write anything sensible, so I had to write something."
  280. Etna: "Thank you, Mars."
  281. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...There, is that acceptable?" he said, having resisted the urge to write 'sextor' as a dual-reference.
  282. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will pin her ears back, pout, and huff.
  283. DNA: Playing the Baby trait for all it's worth?
  284. Narrator: And then she'll evolve, have boobies and make pubescent (sp?) human boys feel weird things.
  285. Narrator: I'll stop being a teasy GM now.
  286. We love you Grace.
  287. DNA: You spelt 'pubescent' correctly, yes
  288. Narrator: I've never actually USED that word before. I'm surprised.
  289. Grace Leonhardt: (Oh jeez, I'll be the furry bait that femlucario is on the internet...)
  290. DNA: (only if you want to.)
  291. Narrator: Imagine what GARDEVOIR feels like.
  292. Avara: (( every gardevoir is gardybait. ))
  293. Avara: (( even the boys ))
  294. DNA: (And speaking of Grace...)
  295. Narrator: They're horn pillows.
  296. Narrator: Friggin' humans and their overly sized mammaries...
  297. Grace Leonhardt: ((Touche. I'll roll with what I'm given tbh.)
  298. Ben: (( boobs be big ))
  299. DNA: It's your character; write her how you please.
  300. Narrator: ^
  301. Etna: "So you guys got the maps together. What'd Hjadvir say about getting the farming project going? Do we need anything?"
  302. Grace Leonhardt: (Hey, I play the character either way so don't worry. Though if we want to have it come down to the dice roll like good ol' TT shenanigans, we can flip a coin or something because I'm a gambler for stupid stuff like that.)
  303. Narrator: I can roll for things if you're indecisive. I have no issues with this.
  304. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Hjadvir is working on the water system right now, and he said he'd have a crew for that ready soon - if he doesn't already. So I assume after that's done, the farming will come next."
  305. Avara: 1 for flat, 2 for round?
  306. DNA: Well, there was the time when GM asked me for a breast size...
  307. DNA: "What should Grace's boobs be?"
  308. Etna: "Have a crew ready soon... does he have enough people?"
  309. DNA: "Well, B would make more sense, but I say C because it'll be funnier."
  310. DNA: "As you wish."
  311. Grace Leonhardt: Whoo boy, I'd be a liar if I said that didn't happen to me either at one point.
  312. Pierce Mars Oswell: "He said there are 44 in total. He..."
  313. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...Grace, could you cover your ears for a moment?"
  314. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will glare at mars. "I'm not a child! I'm just... a bit of a prude..."
  315. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...He suggested a 'breeding night' if we're in need of more manpower, or to fill the gaps of anyone who falls or gets lost hunting."
  316. Janet: "...So uh...do...do you still need me for anything...?"
  317. Etna: "And y'all are worried about consent, right? So have any of you talked--one moment."
  318. DNA: oh shit i forgot she was there
  319. Janet: Janet says, having been standing nearby the whole time.
  320. * Etna looks over to Janet.
  321. Etna: "Would you be willing to teach us some of your songs later?"
  322. Grace Leonhardt: She'll try to act like that didn't shock her at all, but her ears did lay back at the mention of breeding night.
  323. Janet: "If you like, yeah. Think music'll come back as a entertainment?"
  324. Etna: "Yeah. Music's a good thing for peoples' hearts. Other than that, you can go back to doing whatever you want. We'll be going around talking to people, but it's not anything you need to stand at attention for."
  325. Janet: "Alright then." Janet looks around and then shuffles a bit, "...If eggs are needed though. I'll...I'll be willing."
  326. Janet: "If it's with uhm, Mister Mars anyway."
  327. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...wait, what."
  328. Janet: "S-S-S-S-S-So I'll just be going now!"
  329. Janet: Janet turns and scurries out of the room.
  330. Uraruren: "Babies!"
  331. Grace Leonhardt: "Music is always something universally appreciaaaaaaaaated. Oh my. Mars! Apparently you have a bit of an admirer!"
  332. Grace Leonhardt: (jegus fuq, I forgot about ura's new image.)
  333. Ben: ( *munches popcorn* )
  334. Etna: (( had to afk for dinner. back now ))
  335. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I think that was the sister of the one who left and who I tried to convince to stay."
  336. Grace Leonhardt: "Oooooh... the sister to the naysayer."
  337. Pierce Mars Oswell: "...except I don't even think her species matches in group with mine, anyway. Not to mention that's...not something I want to think about right now."
  338. DNA: I already forgot the name of her sister, except that it had 6 letters.
  339. DNA: And probably started with an H.
  340. Etna: "That's a good lead-in anyway. Someone should talk to the females and make sure whether or not they're consenting to breeding nights and all. Sort out who is and isn't, and THEN we can breeding night. It's not a BAD way of handling things with how pokemon work."
  341. DNA: I'm going to go look now.
  342. Etna: "It's an awkward thing for human instincts, but... we're not human anymore. Ura's as capable as any of us and she's only a handful of days old."
  343. DNA: Roxy
  344. DNA: Ha, not even close
  345. Etna: "We'll also need food to feed the people, though."
  346. DNA: wait
  347. DNA: wrong one
  348. Avara: don't think we got the naysayer's name
  349. Roxy: I don't have 6 leetters.
  350. Grace Leonhardt: "Right! Right, uh yeah. We can't have the uh... population... boom to the point where we can't sustain it."
  351. Etna: "So we need to check food stores."
  352. Etna: "That is, what we have. Not grocery markets. Those come after."
  353. DNA: Couldn't find it; oh well.
  354. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Yeah, good plan." Mars looks for where they found the food stores, on the newly-found floor plan. Who passed by it - him or Grace?
  355. Grace Leonhardt: I think I did map the kitchens
  356. Narrator: Twas Grace.
  357. Pierce Mars Oswell: "Grace, that was on your side. Do you remember how much was there?"
  358. Grace Leonhardt: Grace tilts her head side to side, the aura dreads bobing side to side. "Well... oddly enough not too much of the kitchens was touched. I think it may be because most of them are non-human, that they probably didn't really know there was actually food in a lot of the containers. The fridges and Iceboxes were intact too... We might be able to get fruit, and seeds from that fruit if it's still freshly packed."
  359. Etna: "Excellent. So, since you have the closest thing to hands in the group, Grace, we're going to go down there and see what we can find, and you'll need to help with opening some things."
  360. Etna: "We should take inventory."
  361. Actinidia has connected.
  362. Actinidia: Hi
  363. Avara: and we have a grassnek
  364. DNA: Hi! We made floor plans and we're about to keep stock of the food stored in inventory. Also, there's a fuckspace.
  365. Grace Leonhardt: "That's a fair Idea in all honesty. I'll try to see if I can find anything that might be plantable. Though I'm probably gonna have to find out via the symbols on the side because... English is on them and such."
  366. Avara: we have a functional map with lots of details on half the building and minimal details on the other half. we have a kitchen we need to inventory. we have a breeding room. one of th snivy sisters has a crush on mars. and we're doing logistics and ethics decisions for Breeding Nights
  367. Actinidia: "Can someone sum up the ethics decisions so far?
  368. Etna: "We want to talk to the people involved in the breeding and determine who's consentful of breeding, with who, and so on. I'd like you to handle that."
  369. Grace Leonhardt: We're not agianst the idea of a population increase, but we kinda want to let them do it willingly and not forced into it.
  370. Etna: "You're better at delicate than I am."
  371. Actinidia: Actinidia nodded. "Wait, I'm better at delicate?"
  372. Etna: "Also you're the only one of us who -has- had sex in our new bodies."
  373. Grace Leonhardt: "I'm going to go check out the food now!"
  374. Etna: "Don't know if you've noticed. I'm a bit of a social hammer. All blunt force and no subtlety."
  375. Pierce Mars Oswell: "I'll go follow Grace." Mars quietly sees himself out.
  376. Actinidia: Actinidia paced more, hand upon her chin.
  377. Etna: "I've mostly been delegating tasks to figure out what we have to work with. The kitchen's pretty well stocked, since most people didn't know what was actually in there. It's been a few days, so perishables that needed the fridge or freezer might be perished. But we've got other stuff."
  378. Actinidia: "I would rather speak with the women first."
  379. Etna: "That's what I figured."
  380. Actinidia: "And allow them to volunteer."
  381. Etna: "Right. You and I are on the same wavelength. I trust you with this."
  382. Actinidia: Actinidia nodded.
  383. Actinidia: "I'm nervious, but I will try."
  384. Etna: "I can go with you as back-up, if you want."
  385. Actinidia: "Was there a... designated space?"
  386. * Etna points with her tail at the room labelled Fuckspace Breeding Sector.
  387. Etna: "They have sex here."
  388. Narrator: Sextor.
  389. Etna: "If you mean for the interviews, uh... nope. This was a flash decision."
  390. Actinidia: "... the name will be workshopped later."
  391. Etna: "The one that's crossed out was me. Grace's reaction was adorable."
  392. DNA: Hey! Sextor was my idea!
  393. Actinidia: ((so the crossed out name is not a joke?))
  394. Etna: (( correct ))
  395. Actinidia: Actinidia rubbed her forehead and groaned.
  396. Etna: "Grace wrote do-not-enter-this-room-ever on the first draft of the map."
  397. Etna: "I had to shake her up a bit, since this is going to be part of our official decisions going forward."
  398. Uraruren: "Babies!"
  399. Etna: "Yes, Ura. The room where people make babies."
  400. Etna: "Have you been following all the planning stuff so far, Ura?"
  401. Uraruren: "I'd help, but I don't find anyone here attractive."
  402. Etna: "Neither do I, that I've noticed."
  403. Uraruren: "Uh huh. I think you should just throw food at their faces and tell them to eat it."
  404. Etna: "Pokemon have something called Egg Groups. That is, kinds of pokemon they can make babies with."
  405. Actinidia: "I do, but I am still working through my firstborns."
  406. Uraruren: "Unless they have a preference on taste and not survival, no one's gonna complain."
  407. Etna: "Yeah, we're going to see what is and isn't viable for survival. But humans packaged and prepared their food in ways to make it not rot away for a long time. Non-humans don't know all these things."
  408. Actinidia: Actinidia enters the breeding center to have a look around. What is its general appearance?
  409. Etna: "That's why Grace and Mars went to the kitchen to check what's there. So we know how long we've got food for."
  410. Actinidia: "... it's a start." Actinidia leaves the room. The sign labling the room, is it an actual sign or was it written on the wall? In both cases, in what way was it written?
  411. Actinidia: test
  412. Avara: you're here
  413. Actinidia: Oh, it was on the map?
  414. Narrator: Correct.
  415. Actinidia: Okay, that issue solved.
  416. Avara: right. etna's still in the oval office.
  417. Actinidia: Actinidia returns.
  418. Actinidia: "The room looks nice, for a start. With limited resources I imagine its the best we can do so far. Comforts will be a mission for a later day."
  419. Narrator: Was DNA and Grace waiting on me for anything?
  420. Etna: "Alright. If you want, you can go around the building and talk with the ladies around here in private. I'd like to talk with Hjadvir about logistics while you handle ethics."
  421. Actinidia: "Logistics of the breeding?"
  422. Etna: "If there's any way to produce non-fertile eggs, for example.
  423. Etna: "
  424. Etna: "Or how much food we might need post-Breeding Night."
  425. DNA: Kinda, yeah. I was waiting to see what was in the kitchen, but this convo was going on, so I waited.
  426. Narrator: The fridges and iceboxes were still intact and looked to be unopened. The rest were packages, boxes, crates, etc. which also looked unopened. With the animalistic pokemon not knowing how the food system works or being able to read hooman, it's likely been untouched entirely.
  427. Actinidia: "I see. In any case, I'll be making ethical promises so if there are issues you wish to share before I travel around, I would like to hear them first. We can't afford miscommunication at this stage."
  428. Pierce Mars Oswell: Is there any way we can tell what's what based on perhaps pictures?
  429. Pierce Mars Oswell: (or other visual cues?)
  430. Etna: "Pff, no. Just make sure and fill me in when you get back. And tell me now what promises you'll make."
  431. Narrator: You recognize a lot of non-perishables such as wheats (cereals, noodles, rice, etc.), canned goods such as pastas, beans - these are just what isn't packaged away.
  432. Actinidia: "One, that women volunteer for the role. Two, that the role will be respected as a role. Three, that they have the rigth to screen potential mates, or freely invite mates. Four, they will be recognized as the mothers of their children, unless they wish to remain anon. This is a start, we have a few things to figure out. Such as whether this role counts as a job when dividing up jobs. How this overlaps with actually tending for eggs. Actually, I should ask Hjadvir how tending for the eggs usually works."
  433. Avara: brb
  434. Grace Leonhardt: Grace will leave along the nonperishables for now, considering they can last a decently long while by themselves. The goal right now though is to find fruit and things of that nature that they could eat now, or plant.
  435. Narrator: Fruit can be found in the fridge. Vegetables are at the bottom with fruit at the top.
  436. Actinidia: Actinidia finds Hjadvir to ask how eggs are handled after they are laid.
  437. Avara: back, reading.
  438. Narrator: So, from the looks of things we're just doing logistics of information gathering and then asoortment.
  439. Avara: done reading.
  440. Narrator: Assortment*
  441. Avara: yup.
  442. Avara: lots of dialogue and inventory.
  443. Actinidia: Its fun!
  444. Grace Leonhardt: She'll defintely try to sort through those. Maybe scarf down an apple if they're good still. From there, she'll grab another one, and try to head back to the office to find out where Act is to get her to give the goods a look over to see what can be planted or not.
  445. Narrator: So, how would folks like to just come up with a document I can read with information that you all want to find the answers to.
  446. Avara: i enjoy the in-character play, but it's up to everyone else.
  447. Avara: i'm fine with speeding--oh look it's late.
  448. Narrator: I'll list what you can readily find out and what you cannot from the facility or its people. And then assortment of information you want applied throughout the settlement.
  449. Avara: that's probably why.
  450. Narrator: Yeah. And likely it'll be another session of JUST THIS before anything actually happens.
  451. Narrator: While this is fine - I just worry about who's bored and who isn't.
  452. Avara: *thumbs up* i'm good with preparing a document if people wnat to do that instead of this
  453. Actinidia: Sure
  454. DNA: That is good to me.
  455. Narrator: Once all is said and done on said document, I'll list the time it takes and what the start date of the campaign will begin on.
  456. Avara: woo~
  457. Grace Leonhardt: Second
  458. Narrator: In that case, are people fine with ending here?
  459. Avara: i am.
  460. Actinidia: Yep
  461. Grace Leonhardt: Ye
  462. Ben is disconnected.
  463. DNA: Yes.
  464. Grace Leonhardt is disconnected.
  465. Actinidia is disconnected.
  466. Avara is disconnected.
  467. DNA: ...EXP?
  468. Narrator: Calculating...
  469. Narrator: 300
  470. DNA: 4000 EXP total. So, 500 EXP To Next Level.
  471. Narrator: o7
  472. Narrator: Try for dat 500 next session
  473. DNA: Yeye
  474. Pierce Mars Oswell: Pierce Mars Oswell is gains 300 experience points.
  475. You have disconnected.
