Script Creavitity Dead Walking The

Episode one: Road to Nowhere


Episode starts: Adam is looking trough the window of his friend’s car, thinking about his parents and annoying sister. He’s headed to his first day of college with his friend Mark.


Adam:

Your car sucks…


Mark:

It’s not my car. It’s my girlfriend’s.


Adam:

Should you even be driving? You don’t even have a license.


Mark:

I’ve fooled plenty of asshole cops.


Adam:

Sure you did…


There’s some silence until Adam starts talking again.


Adam:

You have a girlfriend?


Mark:

Shut up.


Adam makes a grin and keeps looking trough the window.


Mark:

At least I have a car.


Adam:

sigh Okay, okay. You win.


Mark:

We’re getting close now.


Adam:

Can you turn on the radio?


Mark:

Sure.


Radio:

As the dicease spreads further trough the country, many people of all ages have been hospitalized, and are waiting for treatment.


Mark:

Have you heard of the plague?


Adam:

You mean those stupid internet articles about about the living dead?


Mark:

They’re not stupid, they’re real!


Adam:

Sure…Remember the talking cow you said was going to be all over the news?


Mark:

This IS all over the news.


Adam:

I can’t believe we’re arguing about this…


Mark:

You started it with the talking cows!


Adam:

Radio:

Breaking news. The plague has recently reached a catastrophical level. Please do not leave your homes, our reporters have currently been lost while inves-


Mark:

Adam:

What happened?


Mark:

No signal… Adam: I’m telling you, it’s the cows aga-


Mark:

WILL YOU STOP WITH THE FUCKING COWS!?


Mark sees a lot of cars in front of him and stops the car.


Mark:

Shit, what now?


Adam:

They…Stopped.


Adam and Mark see a man coming out of his car, screaming about something, until his wife comes out of the car and starts eating him.


Adam:

Oh my god…


Mark:

Holy...


They see the man come back to life, and he’s coming towards them.

Mark:

Uh…Sir are you oka-


The man starts to bang in the door until he breakes the glass.


Adam:

Fuck. Mark move!!


Mark turns the car around and starts driving.


Adam:

What the hell just happened.?


Mark:

He got bit in the neck how did he-


Adam:

Just keep driving! I'll call the police.


Adam and Mark see a horde of zombies in front of them.

Mark:

There’s a bunch of people in the way!


Adam:

They’re not people.


The horde starts heading closer to the car.


Adam:

Mark?


Mark:

Damn, Damn, Damn.


Mark pushes through the horde.


They manage to drive away. And the screen fades to black.


A couple of minutes passed, Mark and Adam are headed back to Adam’s house.


Adam:

I can’t call them.


Mark:

Shit, shit , shit.


Adam:

Will you calm down for a minute?


Mark:

I’m not gonna say I told you so. Because it’s just not funny…


Adam:

C’mon man…


Mark:

The dead are walking.


The silence overwhelms the car, until they hear some people screaming for help.


Mark:

Adam….Adam look!


Random guy:

Help! Stop the car!!!


Adam:

He has a family.


Mark:

Don’t…


Adam:

We have to stop.


Mark:

Jesus.


They stop the car.


Random guy:

Thank you so much!!! I…I.


Mark:

What…?


Random guy:

I’m sorry.


He points a gun at the two of them.


Random guy:

I’m sorry, I know this is wrong.


Adam:

You’ve gotta be shitting me.


Random guy:

I have a family, just don’t make this harder then it has to be. I need your food too.


Mark hands over all their food.


Mark:

Adam:

Don’t thank me yet.


Adam grabs the man's gun. He ends up getting a lucky shot on the side of the abdomen.


Mark:

Adam!!! OH MY GOD!!


The man leaves with the car and supplies.


Mark:

Adam is unconscious.


Adam wakes up in a building.


Adam:

Ugh, god!


Mark:

Adam, fuck.


Adam:

Yeah, I hear you.


Mark:

There's....There's so fucking many of them out there.


Mark:

You can’t be a hero man, that guy had a gun.


Adam:

Mark:

Look he barely hit you, you’re fine.


Adam:

I can’t really move much.


Mark sits down with Adam


Mark:

What a fucking asshole huh?


Adam:

I understand what he did, kind of.


Adam starts tearing up.


Adam:

We’ve got nothing, no food, no car, no help. No nothing.


Adam:

I’m never gonna see my family again.


Mark:

Ohio's not that far from here, maybe we can get to your family on foot?


Adam:

What about yours?


Mark:

They’re in a trip to England, away from this shit.


Adam:

I feel like such a pussy.


Mark:

That’s because you are one.


Adam cleans his face

Adam:

Who’s there?


The man points a shotgun at them.


Mark:

Uh, we’re just passing by…

Are you? You know what happened to the last person that ‘’came across’’ this place.


Adam:

Didn’t end with a piñata did it?

Mark:

My friend's shot! He needs some help, please.

Mark:

Name’s Domenick. You can call me whatever you like, as long as your not an ass.


Mark:

Domenick:

Here’s the deal, I’m trying to take care of my mom up there. She needs medication and there’s gotta be a pharmacy down the road. If you help me out, I’ll let you stay here for the night. We can probably get some medicine for your friend too.


Adam:

This is your place?


Domenick:

Yeah.


Domenick’s mom:

Oh, who are they?


Domenick:

They’re friendly. They’ll come with me to find your meds.


Mark:

Hey, we didn’t say anything yet.


Domenick’s mom:

Take care of yourself son.


Domenick:

I will.


Mark:

Hey…


Adam:

We need a place to stay Mark, I can’t travel like this.


Mark:

You better not be a killer.


Domenick:

C’mon boy, we gotta go before it gets dark.


Mark:

I'm Mark by the way, that's Adam.


Adam:

Heya.


Mark and Domenick leave the house, screen fades to black. Time skip an hour and a half.


Adam:

That’s really cool miss…Actually…. I don’t know your name yet.


Domenick’s mom:

Oh it’s-


The door is slammed open, Mark and Dominick enter the house.


Mark:

That was close.


Domenick:

No shit. We got the meds mom


Domenick’s mom:

Thank you sweetie.


Adam:

Hey Mark, I think we can go to bed now.


Mark:

I’m not sure if I can even sleep anymore.


Domenick:

Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. You can sleep in the couch.


Mark:

Thanks…


Adam:

You okay dude?


Mark:

Nah....I'm not feeling good.


Adam:

You should really go to sleep.


Mark:

I'm not arguing with that.


It’s night….


Adam:

So…How was it?


Mark:

Adam:

Just trying to start a conversation.


Mark:

I’m tired, go to sleep Adam.


Adam:

Okay…Sorry.


Hours pass. Adam hears noises from the couch.


Adam:

Hey man…It’s really late why don’t you go to -


Mark is now a zombie and he jumps on top of Adam.


Adam:

AAAAAAAAAH, Dom, Help!!!


Domenick:

Oh god!


Dom shoots Mark in the chest, he’s still moving, so he shoots him in the head.


Adam:

I….I…..I…


Domenick:

Was he…..?


Adam:

…..


Domenick puts his hand on Adam’s shoulder, and the screen fades to black.

EPISODE 2 - One Long Day


Domenick leaves his room to see Adam sitting on the couch and looking at his dead friend.


Domenick:

…Had a good night?


Adam:

I didn’t sleep yesterday.


Domenick sits down with Adam


Adam:

How did this happen?


Domenick:

I….Don’t know. We got swarmed by…”Them’’ in the drugstore. He got bit trying to keep them away from me while I took the meds.


Adam:

Bit? By one of the monsters?


Domenick:

Yeah.


They keep silent.


Adam:

We saw a guy get eaten by his own wife.


Domenick:

…


Adam:

After he got chewed, he came back as one of them.


Domenick:

You think it’s the bite then?


Adam:

There’s no way, that guy died he…He was bit in the neck.


Domenick:

Dammit. I just wanted to know what the fuck is going on.


Adam looks at the window, he sees a lot of zombies.


Adam:

What’s the plan? Just sit here and wait for the military?


Domenick:

They’re not coming. We gotta move.


Adam:

Move to where? We’re safe here.


Domenick:

My parents won’t survive without their medicine. I can’t sit here and watch them die.


Adam:

My dad used to run a Pharmacy, maybe if we got there, he could have some medicine.


Domenick:

Well, how far is he and his Pharmacy?


Adam:

Ohio.


Domenick:

I don’t know kid… That’s like, what, 250 miles from here?


Adam:

Well, what do you think?


Domenick:

I think your plan is not much more than a trip to your daddy’s house.


Adam:

How much medicine did you find? This place is picked clean.


Domenick:

Even if I wanted to go to Ohio, you’re not in any condition to travel.


Adam:

I can walk, and I’m going with or without you friend.


Domenick:

Hahaha, you won’t make 3 miles out there.

Adam looks at Domenick with anger

Domenick:

Look, I know you’re tough kid, but you want to cross the country on foot? That’s insane.


Adam:

Fuck you.

 Domenick gives Adam a concerned look


Adam:

You know what’s insane? Giving up on everyone you love, just because you don’t want to try. I’m willing to cross the goddamn world just to see my mom’s smile again. Do you get that? I’M NOT GIVING UP!!


Domenick starts thinking to himself and starts itching his head.


Domenick:

Fine. We’ll go

Adam:

Huh?


Domenick:

I’ve never met my father, sounds weird, but it’s true. When I look at my mother, I just keep thinking of all the things I’d do for her. She’s so old and weak, she’s the only thing I have left. I understand what you mean. I’m not staying here, but I can at least go with you until I find her a safer place.


Adam:

Thanks…


Domenick looks at Mark’s body once more.


Adam:

Let’s get out of here.


Adam, Domenick and his mother leave the apartment hoping to find a safe place.


Domenick:

Are you sure you can move?


Adam:

I told you, I’m fine.


Domenick:

Listen, I know you said you’re going there on foot, but there’s gotta be a car around here we can use.


Adam:

Where to?


Domenick:

My neighbor used to work on a car shop, I think we can find something there.


Adam:

What are we wating for?


Domenick:

Waiting for you actually, you’re limping.


Adam:

C’mon.


They walk to the Car shop, to find it overrun by walkers.


Domenick and Adam stop to form a plan.


Adam:

What do we do?


Domenick:

Clear this place out.


Adam:

Can we even do that.


Domenick:

That’s up to you. Did you have to kill one?


Adam:

No. I’d like to keep it that way.


Domenick:

You don’t have much choice.


Domenick hits one of them with his shotgun.


Domenick: This guys’s still moving, they’re tougher than you think.


Domenick hits him again, this time, killing the walker.


Domenick:

Alright, follow me.


Domenick is surprised by one of the zombies and he shoot him in the head.


Domenick:

Shit.


Domenick’s mother:

Oh god.


Adam:

Careful.


They see the zombies getting closer


Adam:

Oh no.


Domenick:

They’re coming!


Adam:

It must’ve been the shot! C’mon!


They all run to a car and leave as fast as they can.


Domenick:

Alright, rule number 1, NEVER shoot…


Adam:

And if you do, do it in the head. Domenick: You’re a quick learner kid.


Adam:

Thanks old man.


Domenick:

Is that gonna stick?


Adam:

Only if you want.


They keep driving for an hour…


Adam:

Let’s stop here, I need to take a leak.


Domenick:

It’s pretty dark, we should make a camp.


Domenick’s mother:

I can help you.


A couple of minutes pass. It’s really dark and the characters are sitting close to the fire. Adam: Where do you want to sleep?


Domenick:

I’m….Not sleeping in the ground.


Adam:

Fair enough. But it’s not going to be really confortable in the car.


Domenick:

Feel free to take the ground for yourself. Just ask for some space to the snakes.


Adam:

There aren’t really snakes around here right? Domenick: Do you wanna find out?


Adam:

I’m fine


Domenick’s

mother: So, I’ve never introduced myself. My name’s Bianca.

Adam:

Well, it’s nice to meet you Miss Salvatoriello


Domenick:

People usually can’t pronounce that on their first try.


They all go to sleep until Adam hears screams in the morning.


Adam:

What the-?


Adam can hear Domenick and his mother talking in the background


Domenick:

We don’t have any money. Keep it down or-.


Bandit 1#:

Give me all you’ve got!


Domenick reluctantly throws him the bag.


Bandit 2#:

The meds too!


Domenick:

No! You got what you wanted now go.


Bandit 3#:

Fuck you!


[Gunshot]


Domenick’s mother gets shot in the chest.


Domenick starts to tear up.

Adam stays in the car, scared.


Domenick falls on his knees and drops the meds.


Bandit 2#:

Thank fu-


[Gunshot]


The bandit gets shot in the head.


Adam can only hear a lot of gunshots and screams until he decides to look trough the car’s window again.


He sees a man with blond hair and a shaggy beard. With him, is a pretty Native-American woman that runs to help Domenick’s deceased mother.


Another man with a rifle comes out of the woods and heads to the car.


???:

You can come out kid, we took care of those assholes.


Adam comes out of the car to see Domenick ‘crying his eyes out’.


???:

The name’s John, those two are Vladmir and Helaku. You can thank us later for saving your Lives.


John looks at Domenick.


John:

Hey…..Is he alright?


Adam sees Domenick holding his mother, he closes his eyes as he says: Fuck, Fuck!


Bianca starts turning into a zombie and the screen fades to black.


EPISODE 3:


Bianca went for Domenick's neck, but he managed to dodge.


[Gunshot]


Biance was now bleeding from the head, John had put her down.


Domenick was crying, he looked at his dead mother,

Dominick:

Why...? Why her?


Adam:

I wish she could've lived...


Domenick looked at you, you could see the anger burning in his eyes

Domenick:

YOU DIDN'T TRY TO DO ANYTHING!!!


Adam:

I'm sorry... I was scared...


Domenick:

YOU COULD'VE DONE SOMETHING INSTEAD OF CRYING YOUR ASS OFF IN A CAR!!!"



Adam:

I was scared! I didn't want to die!


Domenick:

STUPID FUCKING KID!!!



Domenick walked over to the car and enters the driver seat, he put the keys in.


Domenick:

We're not meeting each other again.


Adam limbed towards the car,

Adam:

Domenick! Wait!


It was too late, Domenick drove away.


Adam's eyes widened

Adam:

DOMENICK!!!

Adam starts limbing after the car.


John:

Adam! Don't try... It's too late.


Adam kept limbing after the car

Adam:

DOMENICK!!! DOMENICK!!! COME BACK!!!


Vladmir runs up to Adam and restrains him

Vladmir:

Stop it, he's not coming back.


Adam started shaking, he tried to get out of Vladmir's grip

Adam:

DOMENICK!!! DON'T LEAVE ME!!!


Vladmir:

Adam! Stop it! It's not going to do any good!


Zombies had heard the ruckus, they come from the woods towards Adam and John's group.


Helaku started firing at the zombies.


John:

Stop shooting! You're only attracting more!


Adam finally calmed down,

Adam:

Domenick... I'm sorry...


Vladmir lets go of Adam.


Vladmir:

What are we going to do?


John:

We could try to run.


Adam:

But my leg is injured, and Domenick took the car.


Helaku:

So we're fucked?


Vladmir:

I can carry him.


John:

You're going to carry a wounded kid?


Vladmir:

It's our only choice.


Helaku:

Just get him up quickly.


Vladmir took you up on your shoulders, he was one hell of a beast.


Vladmir:

LET'S GO!


Vladmir, John and Helaku started running away from the zombies.


Helaku:

Where are we going?


John:

To the first house or safe place that we might find!


Adam:

Over there! We can hide in that shed.


John was the first to reach the shed, he quickly opened the door and got inside.


Adam and Vladmir came next, Adam hits his head on the top  of the door frame

Adam:

"Oof!"


Helaku came last, she quickly closed the door.


Helaku:

That was close.


Vladmir puts Adam down

Vladmir:

You alright, hit your head?


Adam:

Hurts a little, but I'll be fine.


John was staring to the back wall of the shed, Vladmir, Helaku and Adam turned towards it.


Vladmir:

No way...


???:

crying


John:

Are you alright?


A girl was crying next to two corpses, one of a woman and one of a man, her parents.


Both of the corpses were shot in the head.


Helaku:

No...


Zombies started banging on the shed.


Vladmir:

Fuck! Fuck!


John:

Girl, what's your name?


The girl looked up at the group,

Girl:

Sonya...


John:

Okay sweetie, do you know a way out of here?


Sonya:

There's... There's an exit under the bed...


John:

Vladmir, help me move the bed.


Vladmir:

On it.


Vladmir and John pushed the bed, revealing a trapdoor underneath it.


Helaku:

Sonya, are you sure there's no zombies down there?


Sonya:

Yes.


John opened the trapdoor

John:

Everyone hurry before the zombies come in!


John was the first one down, then came Helaku, then Vladmir.


Adam:

Sonya go!


Sonya:

But... But my parents... I can't leave them up here!


Adam:

You have to!


Sonya:

No.. No, please!


Adam:

Sonya... Do you want to end up like them?


Sonya:

Sonya was interrupted when zombies broke the door to the shed.


Adam:

Sonya! Hurry!

Adam shouted while killing a walker with a hatchet he found earlier.


Sonya quickly climbed down the trapdoor, Adam followed.


SLAM!


John closed the trapdoor.


John:

Any bites?


Vladmir:

You don't ask kids that question, they'd tell us if they were bit!


John:

You can't be too safe during these times.


Vladmir:

You can towards kids!


Sonya was stumbling around in the dark, maybe looking for a light switch.


CLICK!


The cellar lit up, there were boxes all over the cellar, there also seemed to be a little pond with fresh water.


Adam smiles


Adam:

This place looks really nice, like an underground cavern.


John:

Can we drink the water?


Sonya:

Yes, we drank it for a week.


Helaku:

What's in the boxes?


Sonya:

Food, that's why I'm alive.


Vladmir smiles

Vladmir:

Things are looking up for us.


John looks around

John:

How do we get out of here when the time comes?


Sonya:

The same way that we came in.


John:

Are you batshit crazy?!?


Sonya grinned,

Sonya:

I might be.


Adam searched through the boxes, he hadn't eaten anything in a while.


Adam smiles

Adam:

Canned beans


Vladmir grins

Vladmir:

Mind sharing?


Adam and Vladmir sat next to each other and started eating the beans.


Vladmir:

Hell of a day, eh?


Adam:

Yeah... Can't believe Domenick is gone... Fucking hell... I should've done something.


Vladmir:

You were scared, you did what you could.


Adam looks at Helaku

Adam:

How'd you meet her?


Vladmir looks down

Vladmir:

Helaku saved me from a zombie attack... I was visiting my brother for his birthday... We just left them all... I don't know what happened to them...


Adam stays silent.


Vladmir:

I just hope they're alright.


Adam:

What about John? How did you meet him?


Vladmir:

Nothing special, just met him out on the road.


Adam looks at the pond of water, then the boxes of food.


Vladmir smiles

Vladmir:

Things are finally looking up for us.


EPISODE 4:


1 week later...


Adam, Vladimir and John were out on a supply run, the supplies that seemed so much at the time had severely deteriorated over the week, something had to be be done.


A lot of things were on Adam’s mind, that old man Dominick, these new people he had been with over the months... And surviving all of this


Adam:

  I Hope Sonya and Helaku are holding up Okay in that Cellar

Adam blurted out trying to start a conversation.

Vladimir:

They’re fine.... that cellar is well hidden under that trap door, and besides, god knows that kid needs a mother figure right now, maybe some time together might do them good?


John:

Yea It was a miracle we cleared out the top part of that shed otherwise we would have been stuck under there


Adam had a bothered look on his face, something was bothering him...


Vladimir:

Kid? Hey Adam you all right?


Adam looked up surprised that Vladimir noticed


Adam:

Yea.. yea I’m fine, lets just keep moving..


John:

I know what your thinking about, you seriously gotta let that go


Adam sighed, he knew what they were talking about


Adam:

I just, I can’t help but feel responsible for it


Vladimir:

Who the fuck blames an injured kid about it then abandon’s them in a car

John:

Yeah your better off without him, don’t let it eat you up, Hows your leg?

Adam:

Its getting there

Adam smiles while patting it.


John:

Good to hear, Ok we gotta hit the gold mine guys.. Food is low, We are only packing 2 pistols with limited ammo.. we need more guns...


Vladimir:

Hopefully we find something down here in this police station...Shouldn’t be too picked.. its been dead around here for weeks


Adam, Vladimir and John approached the top of the hill overlooking the small town.


John:

Ok theres the police station, Adam theres a small food stall right next to it, You take that.


Vladimir:

John and I have got the police station, we’ll see if we can find whatever left, hopefully some ammo

Adam:

All right got it, they're right next to each other, ill get as much food as I can and meet you guys back at the cop station

John:

Sounds Like a plan, we go in.. we go out, Nice and quick


And with that John and Vladimir went for the police station and Adam headed for the supermarket stall.


Once Adam was inside, his eyes widened.. At least half of the store was intact, packaged goods, beans snacks and fresh fruit.. He immediently, went to picking, trying to fit everything he could see in his bag.


Suddenly he felt something cold push against his clothes on his back... Only to realise that coldness was the tip of a barrel of a rifle being jabbed into him.


He turned to see 3 men, 2 of them were wearing ski masks. One of the men had no ski mask on, He had a tanned skin, Brown eyes and was wearing pretty a raggy hoodie and warm clothes.


Bandit:

Well look what we got here


Bandit 2:

Looks like we got a youngster, what should we do with him? *Snickers*


Bandit:

Oh my my my... So many options.. maybe we should chop him up and pass him off as meat for trade like those crazy mother fuckers from the Dairy down in Macon The man said while bursting into laughter


Bandit 2:

You stupid shit you really believe those rumors..what a load a bull, lets just take this little shits things.


Adam just gave the the men a filthy look, He knew they were just trying to intimidate him


Adam:

Just tell me what the hell you guys want as he put his arms up


Bandit:

Well we want your shit boy, so I suggest you drop it like a good little chicken


Adam complied dropping his bag full of his gear on his floor, but he couldn’t take his eye off the third man behind the bandits, something about him seemed regretful.


Bandit 2:

Good, But we can’t have you sniffing around here so close to our hideout as he raises his gun towards Adam’s head


Bandit:

Sorry but we gotta off you little chicken... Dante what do you think we should do with hi-


Suddenly out of nowhere a flying hook gets the Bandit in the face, stunning him, I then realize its the third man they called “Dante” they then continued to wrestle.


Dante:

KID GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! RUN!

He yelled as he tackled the bandit.


Adam took his advice and picked up his supplies and sprinted for the exit, his leg still hadn’t fully healed yet but out of nowhere the second bandit tackled him and started to strangle him.

Bandit 2:

You fucking little shit, When I’m done with you I’ll put a bullet through your head


Adam could feel himself getting light headed.. his eyes started to close, he was frantically searching for something sharp, then he suddenly felt the force being lifted off him.


Dante:

GET THE FUCK OFF THE KID YOU SICK FUCK


Dante had put the bandit into a strangle hold and was choking him out, the Bandit tried to claw at the man’s face but he was soon silenced as he fell to the ground along with the second one.


Adam:

Thanks he said quite bluntly as he got to his feet panting.


Dante:

Don’t mention it kid.

he then picked up my bag full of supplies from the ground and handed it to me


Adam:

You really saved my ass.. But why though, you had every reason to take my stuff?


Dante:

Believe it or not i’m not like them, I only joined up with them to keep myself fed.. Watching them do this shit to people... I just couldn’t handle it.. I wasn’t going to let it happen to a kid this time


Adam:

Well thanks again, You really whooped those guys asses though he chuckled slightly.


Dante:

Yea they had it coming kid believe me, So whats your name? why you out here alone? Don't you role with a group or something?


Adam:

Yea the names Adam and I think I caught your name was Dante? I do have a group they should be-


Suddenly Adam was cut off as Vladimir and John bursting through what was left of the door aiming their new rifles they found in the police station at Dante.


John:

DON’T FUCKING MOVE

he yelled as he poised the rifle to Dante’s head

Dante:

Woah woah woah, Guys listen I-


Vladimir:

DID YOU HURT THE KID, WE HEARD THE NOISE WERE YOU TRYING TO ROB HIM?!


Dante:

I didn’t rob shit from anyone, I helped him out with those assholes over there on the floor


Adam:

Guys just stop, he saved my ass from these dick heads

Adam then pointed to the bandits on the ground.


John and Vladimir takes a look at them.

John started to eye up Dante, he was trying to analyze him to see if he was a threat, he had clearly gone through the trouble to help the kid out, he then decided to lower his gun.

John:

Vladimir pauses...

Vladmir:

Alright if you say so he then decided to lower his gun.

Vladmir:

So what's your name?...

DANTE:

My name is Dante...pleasure to meet you...

Dante offers a handshake to Vladmir and grins but Vladmir ignores.

Vladimir:

So Dante, why you hanging out with these assholes?

Dante lowers his hand and looks down then looks back up to Vladmir giving his speech.

Dante:

I was only with them for the food, that was it, but I couldn’t watch them kill the kid, so I stepped in...sorry about them they were seriously fucked, I wasn’t with them that long


John then takes another look at the bandits on the floor.


John:

Well it looks like you really fucked them up


Vladimir peered outside and his eyes widened


Vladimir:

Oh fuck..

Adam:

As they all peered outside there was a large herd of walkers approaching the stall


John:

Adam we gotta go, come on!


Vladimir:

Back to the cellar lets go


Adam then pauses and turned to Dante


Adam:

Wait, isn’t he coming with us?

John:

Why?

Adam:

Well he did help me out back there and i’m pretty sure he has no where else to go


Dante stood there surprised at the kids kindness

Dante:

Uh... Im not sure


Vladimir eyed Dante for a few seconds


Vladimir:

Well If your coming with us you better come now, the herds almost here and we have a hideout not far from here


Vladimir, John and Adam made their way through the door


Dante:

All right I’m in

Dante follows the group




They all continued to sprint back into the woods as the herd drew closer.


EPISODE 5:

Adam and the group rushed through the forest, but it was too late, walkers were already in front on them.


John:

Damnit! What are we going to do?


Dante:

We just kill 'em, ain't that hard.


Vladimir:

Dante, are you fucking crazy?!


Dante:

I might be.


Adam:

We've gotta hurry, I'm not ready to die...


Dante grabbed his bat

Dante:

Let's get this party on!

he hit a walker in the head, then hitting another.

John:

Dante:

Vladimir:

Dante:

Dante took down another walker with his baseball bat,

I've got it sorted, we don't need their help.

We've gotta get to the shed, and it has to be fast!

Dante took down another walker, and is actually clearing out a path.


Dante:

Quickly! Over here!


Dante managed to escape the herd.


Adam:

Let's go!


Vladimir quickly grabbed Adam and carried him out of the herd.


Dante:

John! Get the fuck out here!


John was frozen onto the ground, the walkers were getting really close to him.


Vladimir:

"JOHN!!!"


John came back to reality, he pushed through the horde, he made it out in one piece, well almost, a walker had managed to sneak a bite on his leg.

Dante:

Go! Go! Go!


Adam started running, then sees John limbing.


After a while Adam and the group arrives at the shed.


Vladimir:

What are we going to do?


John:

We could... Fuck, I dunno!


Dante:

Amputate... Worked for a mate back near Macon.


Vladimir:

He'll end up bleeding out


John:

We should try it, just not up here, down in the cellar.


Dante makes a confused look

Dante:

Cellar? Mate, I don't see a trapdoor.


Vladimir moves the bed

Vladmir:

Down here.


Adam climbed down into the cellar, Sonya ran over and hugged Adam.


Sonya smiles

Sonya:

You made it back!

Helaku's eyes widened as she started at John's leg

Helaku:

Vladimir was walking around, he seemed close to be panicking

Vladmir:

Dante:

Anybody got anything sharp? I could bite his leg off, if that's what you want.


John's eyes widened.


Dante grins

Dante:

Calm down, it was a joke.


Vladimir:

Adam, where did you put that hatchet?


Adam:

The one I use for cutting wood?


Vladimir: Yeah, that one.


Adam:

Over by the wood supplies, you'll find it.


Vladimir didn't spend much time trying to find it,

Vladmir:

Here it is.


Dante:

Throw it! I'll catch! Probably.


Vladimir threw the hatchet over to Dante, who actually managed to catch it.


Dante:

Helaku grins

Helaku:

Dante:

Now, this is going to hurt like hell Johnny-boy.

Dante:

Dante swung once at his leg, John screams in pain.

Dante swung again, this time John passed out.


Dante:

Sonya was sitting by the pond, Adam sat next to her.


Adam:

It'll be okay Sonya, John will be fine.

Adam said while trying to hold a very insecure smile.


Sonya:

Adam:

Of course he will, John is a strong man.


Dante:

Is done! A-okay, now you there, Native woman, patch him up.


Helaku:

My name is Helaku.


Helaku gathered a few bandages and started patching John up, hopefully he wasn't going to bleed out.


Vladimir walked over to the supplies

Vladmir:

Everyone should take as much as they can, there's a herd on it's way.


Sonya:

A-a.. A herd?


Vladimir looked down for a second, That's how John got bit.


Sonya had flashbacks for a minute, back to when her parents got bit, and she had to shoot them.


Adam:

Sonya.. What's--?

Sonya broke into tears.


Adam hugged Sonya

Adam:

It'll be okay Sonya, I don't know when, but it will.


Sonya was still crying

Sonya:

I want them back...


Hekalu:

I think he's going to make it.


Vladimir:

We can only hope.


An hour passed, all Adam did was pack supplies for when John woke up again.


Dante:

Damn son! He made it!


John:

Ugh.. Did it.. Work?


Dante:

I've merely got no fucking idea.


John:

How am I getting outta here?


Vladimir:

I'll carry you over to the ladder, then I'll carry you from there on, until we get something for that leg.


Vladimir picked up John, he carried him over to the ladder, thankfully, because the plot demands it, John made it up.

Vladimir climbed up, Dante followed, then Sonya, you and at last Hekalu.


Dante:

Good, that's everyone, let's get the hell outta dodge before the dead come knockin'!


Dante kicked the door open with a smile, but then stops smiling and his eyes widen

Dante:

Holy fucking fuckballs, Walkers we're almost at us!


Vladimir quickly picked up John, Adam and the group all ran, running for your lives.


Adam tripped, a walker attacked him...

A man had a gun out of a window of his car, it was almost like a driveby, he killed the walker.


Adam got up, the car stopped, the man got out of the car, it was his, Domenick.


Adam:

Domenick!"


Domenick:

Get in the car! Quickly!


Everyone ran towards the car, Vladimir put John in the trunk.


Sonya's foot got stuck in some mud

Sonya:

       HELP! HELP!

Helaku rushed over to her.


Helaku:

It'll be alright.

Helaku said while pulling Sonya up.


Walkers were close to having them surrounded, Dante and Vladimir got in the car, Adam was still outside, looking at Helaku pulling Sonya up.

Sonya finally got up, but they were almost surrounded, Helaku cleared a path by punching and kicking walkers, but it still seemed like the doom of both of them.


Helaku let the walkers bite her

Helaku:

Sonya! Go!

the walkers became attracted to Helaku, they ignored Sonya somewhat, Sonya quickly ran over to Adam and hugged Him.


Adam and Sonya both got in the car.


Domenick:

Let's get outta here!


The car sped up and soon you were on the road.

Domenick:

Goal still Ohio?


Episode 6: Smoke and fire

Domenick:

Goal still Ohio?

Domenick repeated his question, grinning at Adam. Adam glanced through the window and looked at the walkers. Some of them were still chasing them, attracted by car's engine noise, but were too slow to catch them. He didn't ever hear Domenick's question.


Domenick:

Adam, do you hear me?

he asked with annoyed tone. Adam woke up and nodded.


Adam:

Yes, yes...were you saying anything?

Adam asked, clearly tired. Domenick rolls his eyes.


Domenick:

Ohio. It's still our goal, right?

He repeated his question, grinning widely.


Vladmir:

I guess. That's as good plan as any. I hope it's safer there, for shit's sake.


Adam:

It is. My dad runs a pharmacy there. It has to be safer than here.


Domenick:

Well, we still have some more hours or even days before we reach it. Passing a two fucking states isn't easy, especially in this shitty world.


After that, a great silence came. Everyone looked at each other. Situation wasn't exactly happy.


Sonya:

I can't believe Helaku died because of me.

She said suddenly sobbing.


Everyone got saddened, thinking about Helaku's brutal, yet heroic death.


Adam:

She didn't die because of you. She died for you. Adam said with a sad tone of his voice.


Sonya:

For me? How?

Sonya continues to sob




Adam:

She died, so you can survive. She did it for you to live. She wants you to live. .


Sonya:

...Well, maybe. Still, she shouldn't. Such a nice person...

Sonya said quietly.

Dante:

Okay, enough with the depressing crap. Let's just--

Dante tried to say, when something interrupted him.


Domenick:

MERDE!

Domenick shouted, turning the car abruptly into another direction. Everyone was shaken.


Vladmir:

What the hell was that?!


Domenick:

Walker on the road. Dodged him.


Vladmir:

It's getting dark. We should stop for the night.


Dante:

In the middle of a fucking forest?


Sonya:

Wait. I see something. A smoke, probably.

Domenick stopped and looked through the window in the direction Sonya was facing. Indeed, there was something looking like smoke in the distance.


Adam:

It is smoke! Good eye, Sonya.

Vlad opened the car's trunk to get John out.


John:

Ugh...I don't feel good.

John sweating and wiping his forehead off.


Vladmir:

Don't worry, I'll carry you. Okay, let's go investigate that smoke.


And so the group went deeper into the forest to investigate the smoke. Vladimir was carrying John, while Adam was slowly walking behind them, limbing, barely getting through all the leaves.

Vladmir:

Will everything be alright for you, Adam?


Adam:

What? Ah, yes, yes. Don't worry. I can walk when it's not too far.


And they finally reached their goal. They found an abandoned camp in the middle of the woods. The campfire was barely lit, there was a lot of smoke though. And some dead bodies.


John:

We can sleep in these tents.


Vladmir:

Yeah. Let me just...put you down to one of them. You need to sleep.


Dante:

Putting him down is actually a good idea.

Dante starts bursting out laughing

Adam:

That wasn't even funny, Dante.


Dante:

Oh, it was. You just don't share my sense of humor.


John:

Nah, that's alright, Vlad. Put me near the campfire. I can talk with you a bit.

Vladimir re-lit the fire. It was nice and warm and the group started to sit around the fire.


John:

I miss my father.

Adam:

Hm? What happened to him?


John:

He died for me, too. Like Helaku did for Sonya. Walkers surrounded us in an alleyway. The only way out was a window, but it was too high up for both of us. So my dad came up with a plan...to lift me up, so I could survive. I agreed, but fuck...Was that an emotion. Before I noticed, walkers managed to rip his body apart...


Vladmir:

Sounds like your father was a really good man.

Vladmir gives John a sad expression from hearing his story.

John:

Well, if you can call him that. Drinkin' and aggresive, but heart made out of gold. I wish him to be here now.

Sonya:

I wish my dad to be here, too.


Dante:

Stop with the depressing stuff already. It's warm, we should enjoy that.


Domenick:

That's the first time I ever hear you say something smart, Dante.

Domenick laughed.


Dante:

Shut up.

Suddenly, John yelled and grabbed his leg.


Vladmir:

Wait. What's wrong?


John:

Nothing. Ahh...It just started to sting. It was painful from the beginning, and now it started to fucking sting.


Dante:

Maybe it didn't work?


John:

Thanks for cheering me up, fucktard. John said quietly to Dante.


Dante:

No problem.

He responded with a smile.


Domenick:

Actually, there's a point in Dante's words.


John:

Don't even start...let's just drop the topic...


Everyone becomes silent for a while.


Vladmir:

We should made a watch. Especially for the car. We left it on the road and someone can steal it.

Vlad said, breaking the ice.


Adam:

I can go.


Domenick:

Nah, I'll go. You're too injured and you wouldn't even hurt a potential thief. I'll rip apart everyone trying to get close to our treasure.


Vladmir:

Do you really want to?.


Domenick:

Yeah. I don't feel like sleeping anyway


Sonya:

We should go to bed. We're all tired..


Vladmir:

I agree. Let's just have a quiet, calm night. Hopefully, we'll be in Ohio by tomorrow.


Dante:

I wouldn't count on that, but hope is good.


Everyone settled their tents and went to sleep. Sonya slept with Adam, John with Vlad, while Dante was alone in his tent. Domenick went on the first watch near the car.


Suddenly, Adam woke up. He realized he wanted to pee. So he left the tent to do that. Suddenly, he heard a gunshot in Vladimir's tent. Adam ran over there and entered it. The sight he saw was terrible. Vladimir shot John. He had a big hole in his forehead.


Adam:

What the hell happened in here?!


Vladmir:

He turned! Just like that! Oh God, how good I woke up in a good moment. Jesus, poor fucking guy... Vlad responded.



Suddenly, they heard moans and left the tent. New troubles came.


Walkers. Coming out from the woods, probably attracted by the gunshot.


Adam:

HOLY SHIT! WALKERS!!!


his scream woke everyone up.

Dante:

Crap, what's going on?


Vladmir:

Walkers are going on!


Sonya:

Where's John?


Vladmir:

He's....gone...

Vladmir looks down to Sonya with a sad expression

Sonya:

What? But...

Dante:

No time for this!


The group was tries real hard to defeat the walkers.


Dante:

This is hopeless


Sonya:

No, it's not!


Vladmir:

Where the fuck is Domenick when he's needed?!


Adam:

I don't know! We should back off!


Dante:

HOLY SHIT, HELP ME!

Dante screamed grabbed by a walker. Adam reacted in time and shot him in the walker in the head.


Dante:

Fucking hell, it was close...


Vladmir:

They're surrounding us!

seeing walkers coming from every possible directions.


Sonya:

I don't wanna die!


Vladmir:

You won't. I promise you that.


Suddenly, someone started shooting. These were...some kind of rifles. Strangers killed every walker around.

ADAM:

Are they friendly?

Their faces were covered by the shadow of the night.


Adam:

I'm gonna go talk with them.


Dante:

Are you crazy, Adam?!


Adam:

I'm probably not. Come on, Dante, they helped us.

Adam said and went out of the cover to talk with the strangers, when suddenly...



Adam:

DAMN IT, ADAM, DON'T, THEY'RE~~


They shot Adam in the shoulder. He gasped and fell on the ground. Heavily breathing, he was slowly loosing consciousness.


They were bandits.


Lead Bandit:

Well, well. Looks like we have some visitors in our camp.


Bandit #2:

It's very nasty to be an intruder, you know?




Dante:

Holy fucking shit. I'll rip you apart with a spork, you fucking idiots!

Dante yelled, but got silent when a bandit pointed a gun at him.


Meanwhile, Adam passed out.


Sonya:

Just, do something with him! Don't let him bleed out!


Lead bandit:

Shut up, missy, or you'll share his fate.


Lead Bandit:

Tie him up, Terry. We'll send them to our main hideout in the village.


Terry:

Will do.


They tied them all up. Soon, they were in a trip to the main hideout.


Terry carried Adam's unconcious body.


EPISODE 7:


Adam wakes up in a bed. He can only see Dante in the room. Dante is tied up and beaten.


Adam:

Agh….Dante, you alright?


Dante:

Shit…I thought you were dead man.


Adam:

What did they do to you?


Dante:

I guess…Dante smiles….I guess they just wanted to shut me up.


Adam:

Where’s the others?


Dante:

I don’t know, they took everyone away and left me here.


Adam looks at his shoulder.

Adam:

Great. If I wasn’t a liability already, now I can barely move my arm.


Bandit:

Alright assholes, time to move. Terry, help me carry the kid.


Terry:

Why am I always doing this bullshit?


Bandit:

Don’t be a bitch about it, c’mon.


Adam:

You know? I’m almost 17-


Terry interrupts Adam.


Terry:

Shut up kid.


Bandit:

And you! Don’t even think about opening your mouth, you remember what happened to your friend Domenick don’t you?


Adam:

Domenick? What did you do!?


Dante looks at Adam with a worried expression.

Dante:

They all are brought to a truck, and are taken to the bandit’s main hideout.


Adam and Dante are taken to a small city near Ohio, where the rest of the survivors are.


Bandit:

Now y’all stay here until we decide what to do with you.


Adam:

What happened guys!?

Adam says in a scared tone


Vlad:

They shot you and took us here by force. Took all of our supplies, and said they wanted our car too.


Adam:

And…..Domenick?


Everyone stays silent.


Adam has a shocked expression, until the bandits open the door again.


Bandit(Jack):

C’mon.


Adam:

Come to where?


Vlad:

Adam stay-


Adam:

What do you want with us?


Jack:

I said MOVE!!


[Kick!]


Jack kicks Adam in the face.


Vlad:

No! Don’t hurt the Kid! Please!


Jack:

Bandit(Trent):

Jack:

We’ve gotta teach them some respect!

Trent holds Jack back.


Trent:

The survivors are brought to the city hall, a lot of bandits are reunited there. Adam is wondering why, until he notices Domenick is alive. He is tied into a big piece of wood.


Bandit Chief:

This man killed 3 of our people trying to escape last night, WHAT DO WE DO!?


Crowd:

BURN! BURN! BURN! BURN!


Adam:

What the hell is this place?


Vlad:

They told us they wanted our stuff, Dom was less than inclined to give away his…


Adam:

…His necklace.


Vlad:

How do you…?


Adam:

He told me he saved his gramma’s ashes in it.


Vlad:

Domenick tried to get us out of there, it didn’t work. He managed to kill 3 assholes on his way though.


Adam:

Why are they keeping us here?


Vlad:

They’re the same bandits Dante used to work with. As well as the ones we killed a week back.


Adam:

Vlad! We’ve gotta do something!


Vlad:

There’s nothing we can do, just cover Sonya’s eyes please.


Adam:

I can probably get that guy’s gun. If you could just help me distract them….


Vlad:

Adam, what happened the last time you tried to be a hero? This isn’t a game, the next time you do something like that, someone is going to get hurt.


Adam:

I can’t let Domenick die.


Vlad:

He left you in the woods without any supplies. You really think he’d do the same to you?


Adam stands there, thinking about all the good moments he had with Domenick


Adam:

Meet me at the infirmary. If I’m not there, go without us.

Adam grabs a bandit’s gun and backs away closer to Domenick.

Adam:

Alright now! Nobody moves!

Drop the gun before you get hurt boy.


Adam starts crying.

Domenick:

Adam:

I’m….I’m sorry about your mom….I’m so sorry about Bianca… I could’ve done more, I know that.


Domenick:

Adam shoots the propane tank and explodes the city hall , Dante grabs Sonya and runs. Vladmir runs with them.


Everything blacks out, Adam wakes up amidst the fire and runs to save Domenick.


Adam:

Dom! Dom! YOU OKAY!?


Domenick:

Why…..?


Adam unties him.


Domenick:

I’m sorry Adam, I….I was so angry….I didn’t know where to go. I didn’t know what to do. Please….Forgive me;


Adam:

I already forgave you a long time ago.


Adam and Domenick head to the infirmary.


In the infirmary, one of the bandits is pointing a gun at Vlad and Dante.


Trent:

I’m telling you! Back away or…..Or I’ll shoot.


Daisy:

Trent just stop! We can leave.


Trent:

I’m not leaving you with these people you hear me?


Dante:

Out of the way shithead.


Adam and Domenick come in the infirmary running as fast as they can.


Adam:

We gotta go!!


Dante:

No shit!


Daisy grabs Trent’s gun.


Daisy:

I don’t want to leave you here. Let’s go!


Trent:

Shit!


The fire is spreading, everyone heads to the truck outside.


Dom:

Inside! Quick!!


Adam:

C’mon Sonya, I’ll help you up.


They leave in the truck, while most of them stare at the burning city.


Domenick:

Guys….Guys were fine. You alright Adam?


Adam: I…I just killed all those people.


EPISODE 8:

The flames of the burning bandit camp were now very distant.


Vladimir:

Just try not to think about it Adam, by causing that diversion you saved all of our asses back there


Dante:

You got us out of there, you should be proud of yourself, who knows what else they could of done to us, good fucking riddance to them


Sonya:

Adam we know your a good person, don’t be upset


(Adam just stayed silent, consumed in his thoughts)


Domenick was driving but he could only drive along this road for so long without asking a simple question.


Domenick:

So where are we going..


Dante:

How about Mexico?

Dante chuckles

Sonya:

Mexico?


Vladimir:

What you want a taco?


Adam gave both of them a dirty look, how could they be joking around at a time like this..


Adam:

We are going to Ohio, my parents are up there and there have to be people doing better than us.

he said in a very stern voice like his mind was already made up.


Vladimir, Dante and Domenick all exchanged looks of worry at each other.


Dante:

Listen, Kid I don’t think thats the best Idea... It could be overrun, and if your parents were alive they would want you to be safe, not be risking yourself looking for them


Adam turned to Dante, This had been the first time he has been serious in a while.


Adam:

I don’t care, I’m not going to give up on them, they wouldn’t give up on me


Vladimir:

Adam...he’s actually talking sense for once, listen to him..what if its worse..up there than here?


Adam:

And what if your wrong? What if its fine?


Dante:

Look, when someone close to you dies you feel yourself lose something every time, the first time the most... Look Kid I’m just trying to tell you that your parents might not have made it


Adam:

Dante:

Look, I know what your going through, I saw my mother get torn to shreds right in front of my eyes, she was hiding me from some cops in her house after I did something I shouldn’t have, thats when the outbreak hit, A lot of people lose their parents but its a part of life now


Adam just stayed silent, He knew by the tone of his voice that he wasn’t joking.. This time he was dead serious. He spoke sense, but he had to know the fate of his parents, Adam had to have that closure.


Daisy:

Actually the kid might be right


All eyes were on daisy expect Domenick who was listening as he kept his eyes on the road.


Domenick:

What do you mean?


Dante:

well this is surprising you guys finally decided to stop being mute and speak up he joked


Trent:

when we were at that camp, rumors spread around like a wildfire that there was a safe settlement in Ohio


Daisy:

Trent And I were going to leave to find it but we never got the chance, well until you guys set the place on fire


Adam:

You see guys, Listen to them, There has to be something out there, its our best bet


Vladimir:

I don’t know about this, a lot of promises of safe places but not one of them have come true


Daisy:

I’m telling you this place could be the real deal, And the kid obviously wants to go anyway so why not?


Dante:

What if these guys are like... Fucking Cannibals or some weird shit like that, I mean you heard the rumors about that dairy farm in Macon.


Trent:

Yes I heard the rumors, No this place is the real deal, it has to be.. and besides we don’t really have any other options


Adam:

It’s better than scrounging around out here, think about it, we don’t need to wary about walkers and bandits


Domenick:

Fuck it..fine.. we’ll go, its better than starving out here, its our only choice other than foraging for food like raccoons.”


Daisy:

Besides you guys have got 2 kids in this group, if you want them to stay alive I would suggest taking them to that settlement


Vladimir:

Well it looks like everyone’s mind is already made up, fine if this settlement gives a warm bed and a hot shower I won’t complain


Dante kicked his feet up on the dash and went into a sleeping pose


Dante:

Jesus this Idea is sketchy as hell, but whatever, do what you want, this place better be legit


Even after all that, Adam wasn’t tired, all he could think about was getting to Ohio and finding his parents, maybe they would be in the settlement?


1 hour later..


Adam was getting bored and observed the truck,Vladimir and Domenick were watching the road scanning the area for any threats, Dante was asleep with his feet up on the dash in the front seat, Sonya was out cold, Trent and Daisy were just looking out the window


Suddenly the truck came to a stop in the middle of the road.


Vladimir:

Hey wake up everyone listen up


Everyone who was asleep awoke except for Sonya and Dante.


Domenick:

We are running on fumes, Its about another 40 minute drive to get there, gotta stop and siphon some gas out of these cars.


Daisy:

I’ll stay in here and watch the little girl, Trent go out and help them would ya?


Trent:

Ok no problem


Adam:

And with that Adam, Vlad, Dom and Trent went to get some fuel from the nearby cars and Dante, Sonya and Daisy stayed inside to guard.

Suddenly gunshots were heard. The group looked over to the truck to see Dante and Daisy firing at the walkers, there were hundreds of them, only about a hundred metres away from the truck..how did they not see them?

Sonya had now woken up and was scared out of her mind seeing that many.


The whole group then sprinted for the car

Ok lemme just fill up, and we are out of here, hold them off

The walker were drawing closer.


The truck was filled, but the walkers were dangerously close

And with that the car started, Domenick pushed the pedal.. he was relieved and the car skidded as it jolted forward with speed. But he before he could get much distance some walkers appeared in front of the truck.

Adam stood there, like if the time had stopped around him. Thinking about his friends.


Adam hears everyone in his head, everything they said to him before, at the same time.
