- Gun changes round 1 (6/22)
- 'Ove Glove':$900,000
- Damage: 18 -> 19
- Rate of Fire: .2
- Freeze: .05
- Reload: .5
- Spread: 0.065 (7.44°)
- Clipsize: 32
- Ove glove was in a bad spot. At its price, it was significantly worse than the competition (ares, navy, TG, Sg552). In fact, the S6 was essentially the same gun (.2 fire rate, 0.05 freeze), with 19 damage. This damage upgrade to the Ove makes it more in line with other 900k guns, giving it a unique mix of heavy fire power and moderate damage.
- 'Ares Rifle'
- Damage: 22
- Rate of Fire: .30
- Freeze: .05
- Reload: .35
- Spread: 0.035 (4.01°)
- Clipsize: 28 -> 25
- Ares rifle was just a little too strong. As someone who's used the ares extensively over the past 4 months, I think it's actually close to balanced. The weak points of reload and rate of fire compensate for the damage. However, nerfing the clip slightly will exacerbate the reload downside to the gun, and make it not quite as powerful.
- 'MP5 Navy':$900,000
- Damage: 20
- Rate of Fire: .25
- Freeze: .05
- Reload: .3
- Spread: 0.03 (3.43°)
- Clipsize: 30 ->25
- Navy has dominated the field for the longest time. It was able to do everything. It was best in raids, best in spars, best up close, and pretty effective long range. This used to be somewhat justifiable by its rarity. Now it's surprisingly common, and it's just too strong. This change doesn't break the gun. It's still amazing. This is more of a behind-the-scenes change.
- 'P90':$600,000
- Damage: 15 -> 16
- Rate of Fire: .15
- Freeze: .05
- Reload: .4 -> .3
- Spread: 0.12 (13.75°)
- Clipsize: 50
- P90 used to be one of my favorite guns. People just never use it anymore, and I can see why. It's simply outclassed by nearly everything else out there now. A little more damage and a shorter reload will hopefully make this gun competitive in spars again.
- 'Shipka':$700,000
- Damage: 20
- Rate of Fire: .35
- Freeze: .05
- Reload: .35
- Spread: 0.09 (10.31°) -> 0.07
- Clipsize: 30
- Just a slight decrease in the spread of the gun. As it stood, the two bullets for shipka were significantly better than DR and ACR because of how much they spread out.
- 'DesertRaven:'$625,000
- Damage: 20
- Rate of Fire: .25 -> .3
- Freeze: .05
- Reload: .35
- Spread: 0.02 (2.29°)
- Clipsize: 32
- DR shot as fast as a navy and had the same freeze, but shot two bullets and cost 275k less. That's ridiculous. This change decreases the fire rate so that it can't be used to put up massive walls. This brings it more in line with other 2 shot guns.
- 'ACR':$850,000
- Damage: 20
- Rate of Fire: .3
- Freeze: .05
- Reload: .3
- Spread: 0.05 (5.72°)
- Clipsize: 36
- -Now automatic
- On the surface, ACR has good stats, but it just feels clunky. Making it automatic just makes it feel a lot smoother and easier to use.
- 'P2K':$300,000(X2)
- Damage: 20
- Rate of Fire: .3
- Freeze: .05
- Reload: .35
- Spread: 0 (0°)
- Clipsize: 16(x2)
- -now automatic
- P2ks used to be automatic and they were really fun. Currently, 2 handed guns aren't competing with the other top tier weapons. Stat-wise, the P2ks are great. This change will just make them feel smoother hopefully.
- 'Flak Cannon'
- Damage: 15
- Rate of Fire: .41
- Freeze: .16
- Reload: 0.25 -> .3
- Spread: 0.24 (27.5°)
- Clipsize: 10 -> 8
- Flak cannon is way too strong for the price. Increasing the reload and decreasing the clip will stop it from being so spammable. It should be a use-specific weapon, not a gun that can be used in spars or as a primary gun.
