My view on recent forge drama

As you may have heard by now, there has been a lot of drama surrounding MinecraftForge and the NOVA API, which was not supposed to be released anywhere in the next 6 months. But, LexManos found out about it and caused a "massive nuclear explosion" to happen.
It began with a (friendly) discussion about Java 8 and forge(https://github.com/MinecraftForge/FML/pull/595). I agree with LexManos, forcing 8 when Minecraft targets 6 is stupid, you would loose exactly 1/2 of the users. But, on the other hand, asie has a point. When the day comes where Minecraft targets 8(aka when the new launcher is used by everyone), we should be prepared. It would save a HUGE amount of stress, drama, banning etc..

Banning everyone related to NOVA and buildcraft means banning over 150 people(excluding end users, that would be in the thousands) and is just plain stupid. Why, just why??

Usually, the word "community" means democracy, not dictatorship, which is what LexManos is doing more or less. If he doesn't like someone, he has the power to ban them from most things related to forge.

PS: This is my view, nothing else. I do not mean to harm anyone.
PPS: LexManos is a wizard in regard to programming, anyone saying different is lying. But declaring yourself as "the asshole dictator of the minecraft community" in your bio on social media does say something about your personality.
