  1. >baking a pie
  2. >ask Serana to pass you the sugar
  3. >"you can have it when you take it from my cold, dead hands" she says as she passes it to you with a smile

  8. >traveling to windhelm
  9. >an unusually strong storm picks up
  10. >decide it's best to make a camp in a snow covered thicket
  11. >get blankets and furs out of my backpack and make a little nest
  12. >waifu climbs in for warmth too
  13. >snuggle up close to her to share body warmth
  14. >sitting together, protected from the wind and just watching the snowfall
  15. >we are so used to it snowing all the time, that sometimes we forget how beautiful it is
  16. >still really cold for some reason
  17. >remember my waifu is undead and has no body heat to share
  18. >freeze to death
  19.

  21. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  22.
  23. >In your kitchen in Breezehome
  24. >kneading some dough to make a batch of sweetrolls
  25. >kitchen is busy with ingredients
  26. >Serana is in the living room reading a book
  27. >as you combine ingredients and prepare the sweetrolls, you notice her watching you intently in the corner of your eye
  28. >you assume she's just hungry
  29. >keep noticing it, she hasn't looked away for tens of minutes
  30. >"Something wrong?"
  31. >she quickly looks back to her book and says "no, sorry"
  32. >"want to do it together?"
  33. >"no, I'm not much of a cook"
  34. >"It's just baking. Did you never learn?"
  35. >"There was always someone else to...and my parents didn't do a lot of daughter stuff with me. So no, I never learned"
  36. >"Ah. Well, let's remedy that. I promise, garlic is not an ingredient in this dish"
  37. >she rolls her eyes, but can't resist a smile
  38. >you demonstrate how to knead the dough
  39. >she tries, but just uses her fingers and doesn't actually get her palms involved
  40. >she looks like she doesn't want to get her hands messy
  41. >you reach over and push her hands down into the dough
  42. >"hey!"
  43. >"you gotta use your whole hand to do it right"
  44. >she gives you an annoyed look, but starts doing it properly, and the corner of her mouth shows a bit of a smile
  45. >after a bit, you show her how to make the sweetroll shape, and soon you have a tray ready for the oven
  46. >while they cook, the two of you prepare the glaze
  47. >the house fills with the warm smell of baking pastries
  48. >when the sweetrolls are ready, you take them out and the two of you put the sugar on them
  49. >after they cool, you each take a big bite, Serana catching crumbs with her hand
  50. >"This is so sweet!" she says, as if she'd never had one before
  51. >"Not as sweet as you" you say with a smirk
  52. >"That's usually my line"
  53. >the double meaning of that phrase was a longtime inside joke between the two of you, her often commenting on how sweet your blood is
  54. >"thanks for this..." she says quietly after a moment, and the two of you head out to the market to share your fresh sweetrolls with your neighbors
  55.
  56.

  58.
  59. >traveling through Skyrim
  60. >pleasant evening
  61. >suddenly, bandits jump out from behind a tree
  62. >you're not fast enough, and one of them barely cuts your arm
  63. >but then, both of them are full of giant ice shards
  64. >they fall over dead, and you see Serana standing over the corpses
  65. >"You should be more careful" she says, flatly
  66. >"yeah, sorry. And thanks" you reply
  67. >"Sure, love"
  68. >a painful sensation brings your attention to your arm
  69. >a shallow wound, it won't take your Restoration magic much time at all to heal
  70. >You focus your magicka to manifest on the wound, and your hand hovering an inch above your arm begins to glow
  71. >a hand on your shoulder stops you
  72. >Serana steps around you and places your hand in hers, and brings it up her lips for a kiss
  73. >you're taken aback, since displays of affection are not her way, and this is also an odd time
  74. >she kisses your hand, and then your wrist, and then your forearm, and makes her way towards your shoulder, dancing kisses along the way
  75. >when she reaches your shoulder, near your wound, the mystery is solved
  76. >she places her lips on the blood droplets that trickled from the wound, and lingers for a moment
  77. >you feel her tongue slide across your skin towards the wound
  78. >before you can think of how to react, you feel the twin punctures you are very familiar with, except in your arm rather than in your neck where you're used to
  79. >she lingers there for a few seconds, her eyes closed, enjoying the treat
  80. >she stops abruptly, opens her eyes, releases your hand, and stands up straight
  81. >"Sorry sweetie, sometimes I just can't help myself when I see your blood. It's like a tease for the senses."
  82.
  83. --------------------------------------------------------------
  84.
  85. >traveling to Falkreath with your gf
  86. >low on cash, but since you've gotten pretty good with Restoration magic you decide to help out at the temple as a healer
  87. >they recognize you from a few weeks ago when you were last here, and they appreciate the help
  88. >most clients used to just have adventuring related injuries, but the civil war has expanded the sorts of injuries you tend to see
  89. >some are pretty gruesome
  90. >you don't care who you treat, you just want to reduce suffering, so you heal Stormcloak and Imperial alike
  91. >you hate to see your neighbors fighting and just want it to end so people stop dying
  92. >a little bit of conventional medicine goes a long way as well
  93. >some wounds can't be completely magically healed
  94. >broken bones still need to be set before magically restored, major arterial bleeding still carries with it weakness and recovery time, those sorts of things
  95. >spend the day healing wounds and performing mini miracles of magic late into the evening
  96. >by the end of the day, you're exhausted and covered in blood
  97. >you didn't even realize, being so busy, but the hours of work have left your hands and arms and clothes a mess of blood
  98. >having finally had a chance to focus on something other than the hectic triage, your brain notices the metallic iron smell
  99. >then it dawns on you
  100. >this entire time, Serana was helping you
  101. >she's not as gifted in the Restoration arts, her talents lie in the Destruction and Conjuration schools, but she was doing what she could
  102. >for hours, half a day, Serana was in a room full of bleeding people, and now you're covered in blood, but she kept her composure
  103. >well, until now
  104. >just as this thought crosses your mind, Serana's surprisingly strong hand grips your shoulder and spins you to face her
  105. >her eyes are hungry, and her mouth quickly meets yours in a passionate kiss, her tongue not wasting a minute invading and meeting yours
  106. >after seconds of kissing, she slides her cheek along yours until she nestles her nose into the nape of your neck...
  107.
  108.
  109.
  110. ---------------------------------------------------------------
  111.
  112. >cook a pie for your vampire gf
  113. >nervous as she tries it, since you're still learning to cook and it might be terrible
  114. >slowly brings the fork to her mouth, the seconds are agonizing
  115. >she tastes it a bit
  116. >you're relieved when she smiles and says it's sweet and delicious
  117. >quickly adds "but don't worry, not as sweet and delicious as you"
  118.
  119.
  120. ==============================================================================
  121.
  122. >laying in bed with your waifu
  123. >each reading by candlelight
  124. >she's reading some old book about history, while you have your trusty copy of Lusty Nord Lumberjack
  125. >she rolls over and kisses you
  126. >start making out
  127. >hugging and kissing passionately
  128. >she kisses your cheek, and then your chin, and then goes lower to your neck
  129. >you lay back and look up, pressing your head into your pillow, enjoying her kisses
  130. >then it hurts a little bit
  131. >you feel her fangs puncture the soft skin of your throat
  132. >you feel your blood flowing out of the wound
  133. >a few seconds pass, it has stopped hurting but the feeling is always strange, you haven't quite gotten used to it, no matter how many times now
  134. >a few more seconds pass, then she stops
  135. >she sits up and wipes a droplet of blood off her chin
  136. >you feel a bit weak and sleepy, and your eyes are heavy
  137. >she smiles sweetly at you, and says she loves you, then lays down with her arm across you and goes to sleep
  138.
  139.
  140.
  141. =================================================================
  142.
  143.
  144. Serana really likes pretty dresses. When she was growing up, back when her family was normal, she would always look forward to the social events her family hosted or attended. She was too young to participate, but she would stand on the stairs and peek into the ballroom to watch all the noblewomen spin and dance in their fancy dresses. The colors and the way they twirled around were fun to watch, and she looked forward to the day she could pick out her very own dress. She dreamed of what color she would choose, what style, the length, and all the decisions she would have to make with the tailor.
  145.
  146. But that day never came. Her family slowly withdrew from social circles as time went on. They were more interested in other things. Her father and mother had found a new religion, one that didn't mesh well with polite society. She went to fewer and fewer dances, until one day, she realized it had been many months. Her family did religious ceremonies now. Her parents told her about some Molag Bal person that she was supposed to be devoted to now. Whoever that was. It sounded important to them.
  147.
  148. The nice family castle grew dark and cold. Fancy and expensive clothes that was the talk of the town were replaced by black and dark red armors and robes. Almost a uniform. As her family got more and more into their new religion, the decor of the castle soon matched, with paintings of ancestors replaced by gargoyles, the wine cellar replaced by a dungeon, most lighting removed.
  149.
  150. Fast forward many thousands of years, and here she is, an adult. Free of her father's madness, free from the prophecy. Finally, for many thousands of years, she is free to do as she pleases. And I will get her that pretty dress she always wanted.
  151. ------------------------------------------------------------------
  152.
  153. >Serana will never brush her cold fingers across your cheek while leaning in to give you a kiss
  154. >you will never meet her bright yellow eyes before closing yours and passionately kissing her
  155. >ywn quickly fix your hair and clothes and step away from each other when you hear her father coming down the hallway and pretend you were talking when he opens the door to tell you dinner is ready
  156. >after dinner, you will never be in the guest room and overhear him yelling at her about dating a filthy living bloodbag
  157. >you will never offer to become a vampire, in order to make things work with her father, but she declines because that's not who she fell in love with, she loves a human
  158.
  159. ---------------------------------------------===========================
  160.
  161. Her long slender fingers have a surprisingly strong grip on your arm and your shoulder. You would have never guessed by her appearance, but she's incredibly strong. Unnaturally strong.
  162.
  163. It's now too late to stop her. Even if you struggled, you couldn't break away. But you trust her, and she trusts you. You feel her cold breath on your neck. Her breathing is slow and measured, but she becomes more excited as she looks down and runs her eyes up and down your exposed neck. Her grip tightens, to the point of almost hurting you. She draws closer to you, pressing herself into your back. She's like a different person when she feeds, much more direct and carnal, compared to her nonchalant and sarcastic usual self.
  164.
  165. You hear her exhaling as her mouth closes on the soft skin of your neck. Her cold skin is a strange sensation every time, your mind being used to another's touch being warm.
  166.
  167. The small sharp point of pain in your neck rips your attention back from thinking about skin temperature. Most would assume that's the worst part of all of this, but you know the worst is yet to come.
  168.
  169. Your wife's grip grows stronger still, to the point you're afraid of bruises. Her fangs dig deeper, millimeters upon millimeters, as she slowly sinks her teeth into your neck.
  170.
  171. The oozing sensation. The sensation of your blood flowing the wrong way. Being sucked out. The slow, gradually building weakness in your arms and legs. Seconds pass. Your head becomes heavy. A few more seconds. Your eyes become heavy. Your heart is pounding in your chest. More seconds pass.
  172.
  173. You become fearful. The edges of your vision darken. Your fingers feel numb. You have trouble thinking, and your mind feels slow. But then, just when you think the room is starting to spin, she stops. She draws out her fangs, and stands up straight behind you. She lets you lean back into her, and she picks you up into her arms, and carries you to bed.
  174.
  175.
  176. =================================================================================
  177.
  178. >walking through the Whiterun market with your gf
  179. >she's smiling and stops to pick out some fruits and vegetables
  180. >while waiting for her, you look around the market
  181. >lots of your friends and neighbors are out today
  182. >smile and wave at some of them
  183. >then, out of the corner of your eye, you see the front gate swing open
  184. >two cloaked figures walk through, and are stopped by the gate guard
  185. >despite the heavy cloaks, you recognize the glint on one of their necklaces
  186. >Vigilant of Stendarr
  187. >they are conversing with the gate guard, but after a few seconds, the gate guard waves them inside
  188. >you turn quickly and grab your waifu's hand
  189. >she looks surprised and drops what she was inspecting as you walk quickly towards your home
  190. >when you get inside, you start packing your backpack
  191. >she asks you what is wrong
  192. >tell her what you saw
  193. >she looks scared
  194. >tell her it's ok, you planned for this
  195. >you had packs planned out and a nice place in the woods nearby the town to hide in and camp until the Vigilant look through town and are satisfied and leave
  196. >besides, some time camping with the love of your life sounds pleasant
  197.
  198.
  199.
  200.
  201. ------------------------------------------------------
  202.
  203.
  204.
  205.
  206. >normal evening
  207. >candlelight dinner near the fire of Breezehome
  208. >grilled leeks, potatoes, and rabbit soup, all made by you
  209. >have a pleasant conversation with your waifu about the days adventure
  210. >you fought a frost wisp and are still nursing some frost damage your healing magic didn't quite clear up
  211. >as you eat, your waifu peruses your journal, looking at the quests you've written down and what you're going to do tomorrow
  212. >apparently, I heard a rumor that a boy named Aventus Aretino, in Windhlem, has been attempting to contact the Dark Brotherhood. I should find this boy and speak with him, and find out why he wants to contact a guild of assassins.
  213. >she says that one should be next
  214. >after your dinner, your waifu stands up and walks over to you
  215. >she brushes her hand across your should as she passes by you, then stands behind you
  216. >couples who eat together, stay together you always say
  217. >she brushes your hair aside and licks her lips as she sees your exposed neck
  218. >you wince as she bites into your skin, never quite getting used to the sensation
  219. >but you love her, so you endure
  220. >she drinks for several seconds, your eyes focusing on the flickering flames in the fire place of your living room
  221. >she continues to drink, a bit longer than usual
  222. >the flames flicker a bit weaker, it must be time to put another log on the fire
  223. >the fire grows ever darker as seconds pass
  224. >you wonder why the fire is extinguishing so quickly
  225. >only too late do you realize it's your own consciousness from blood loss, and you black out
  226. >an unknown amount of time passes, and you awaken in your bed, in your room
  227. >your waifu sitting in a chair next to the bed, both of her hands clasped around yours, asleep
  228. >even asleep, you see the worry and concern on her face, and the contrition of having gone too far
  229.
  230.
  231.
  232. ----------------------------------------------------------
  233.
  234. >be a courier employed by Jarl Balgruuf
  235. >walking from Whiterun to Riften to deliver a letter
  236. >It's getting kind of late, and dusk is approaching
  237. >come across two young women on the road
  238. >one is wearing normal clothes that I see lots of people from the college of winterhold wear, looks like a restoration school student
  239. >but the other is wearing some out of place fancy red silk shirt with a black corset
  240. >not just her dress looks out of place in the wilderness, but she also seems pale and she looks like she would be more suited to a jarl's court or something
  241. >assume it's some Jarl's daughter and her handmaiden out on an adventure or something
  242. >greet them as I approach
  243. >they greet me politely in return, and ask if I want to set up camp with them for the night
  244. >I was probably about to camp for the night in 20 minutes or so anyway, so I might as well
  245. >accept their offer
  246. >by the side of the road, I set to start a fire while the mage starts rummaging through her pack, and the out of place girl reclines
  247. >by the time I have the fire ready, the mage has produced some potatoes, carrots, leeks, sweetrolls, and a small pot to prepare food
  248. >we make some small talk about destinations and places of origin while the food cooks
  249. >notice that the mage only makes 2 portions, one for me and one for herself
  250. >the out of place looking woman just chats while the other two of us eat and chat
  251. >think that's odd, but it must be some diet thing rich people do
  252. >enjoy my meal, thank them for the food, and bid them good night as I turn over to sleep
  253. >the mage cleans up and puts out the fire, and unrolls a blanket from her pack, which the two of them lay on
  254. >doze off pretty quickly from my day of walking across the tundra
  255. >an unknown amount of time passes, but I'm awoken at some time in the night
  256. >I hear strange noises and rustling, like a small animal, but don't think anything of it
  257. >then, I hear a sharp intake of breath, and a slight gasp
  258. >sounds like someone was in trouble
  259. >sit up quickly and look over to make sure the other two are ok
  260. >horrified by what I see
  261. >the young mage is laying on her side, her head touching the ground, and her eyes closed
  262. >the out of place looking woman is kneeling over her, with her mouth on her neck
  263. >her eyes were closed, but when I shifted quickly, her eyes dart open and our eyes meet
  264. >my veins run cold as ice as her eyes focus on me
  265. >she sits up quickly, fangs sending a splatter of blood across the ground between us
  266. >I've heard tales of vampires and I know they are evil vile creatures and that I can only run in a situation such as this
  267. >It's too late for the young mage, and I scramble to my feet and run for my life into the brambles and underbrush in front of me
  268. >no sense of direction, no care at all for stumbling or tearing cloth and skin alike on branches and brambles
  269. >the fear driving me to speeds I have never known myself capable of
  270. >behind me, I can hear the woman say "wait! It's not what it looks like!"
  271. >"yeah right, vile creature, you just want to eat me too" I yell backwards
  272. >but then, a second voice
  273. >the voice of the young mage
  274. >"sir! wait! We're sorry to scare you! We thought you were asleep!"
  275. >curiosity takes the better of me, and I stop running
  276. >slowly approach the two of them
  277. >"what is going on..." I ask slowly
  278. >The vampire woman is looking to the side, she looks more embarrassed than anything, she can't even look at me
  279. >the young mage's hand is glowing a bit and is hovering an inch or so above her neck
  280. >right before my eyes, the flesh is mending and the wounds closing
  281. >the teeth wounds
  282. >what am I doing back talking to these people
  283. >the mage speaks up, "we're sorry, normally we don't camp with people. Normally we are alone when we..uh..when we eat"
  284. >the vampire rolls her eyes and steps off away from the conversation
  285.
  286.
  287. ==========================================================
  288.
  289. >Serana gets cured
  290. >she gets to taste food for the first time in a thousand years
  291. >each meal is new for her and she loves everything you make
  292. >go to a bunch of effort to make nice things for her now that she can taste stuff
  293. >look up new recipes and learn new tricks because suddenly meals are special
  294. >tfw you get to see her smile and enjoy things and be happy
  295.
  296.
  297. ------------------------------------------------------------
  298.
  299. >standing watching a beautiful moon and snowfall with Serana
  300. >a pleasant moment of silence between catastrophes that you two find yourselves in the midst of constantly
  301. >enjoying the moment, watching snowflakes meander through the air
  302. >one falls on Serana's nose as she looks upwards
  303. >"What does it feel like?" she asks quietly, breaking the silence
  304. >"What does what feel like"
  305. >"the snow"
  306. >you remember that undead cannot feel anything
  307. >"cold"
  308. >"hmph. Everything is equally cold to me"
  309. >"have you ever...ever thought about, getting cured?"
  310. >a moment passes, she turns to look at you, but doesn't say anything for another moment
  311. >"Come on, let's go, Alduin won't wait for us to sit around here musing"
  312.
  313. ------------------------------------------------
  314.
  315. Many moons have passed since the conclusion of the Alduin crisis. The Dragonborn, renowned for her exploits, settles down on a nice quiet farm near Solitude. She tends to her chickens and makes cheeses to sell in the market in Solitude. The cheese wheels have pictures of a warrior standing dramatically in front of a dragon.
  316.
  317. Her newlywed wife, Serana, enjoys the quiet life as well. After saving the world many times over, it's nice to retreat from it for a while. She grieved the loss of her father, but knew it had to be done, and her caring and compassionate wife was helpful during that time. Her mother visits often, taking breaks from tending to her garden in the now empty Castle Volkihar.
  318.
  319. The two of them become quite renowned in the cheesemaking world. Due to it being a more of hobby rather than a business, they take great care with their product and take all the time needed to make a perfect batch. They are not want for money, the riches gathered during their adventures supplemented by the publishing of the Dragonborn's memoirs which became a bestseller across all of Tamriel.
  320.
  321. Most importantly, they're happy. After the trials and tribulations they experienced, they realized that through it all, the one thing that was constant and reliable, was each other. Their love grew slowly, the sort of love born from deep companionship and shared experience. After their ordeal was over, Serana decides to cast aside her curse, no longer in need of the power it offered, and became cured. She felt ready to be in Mara's presence, and so she and the Dragonborn had a quiet ceremony in the temple in Riften, with only their closest friends in attendance. Jade presided over the ceremony, despite her protestation.
  322.
  323. To this day, people come from all over to visit the famous cheese shop near Solitude, where they ask for stories. Serana shakes her head quietly as the Dragonborn tells the embellished and dramatic tales to the awed crowd.
  324.

  326. ===============================
  327.
  328.
  329. Circumstance had brought Thalia and Serana together. The events of the Prophecy of the Sun had not just brought them together, but had made them close friends as Thalia helped her face her father and reunite with her estranged mother. Now, the duo travel together full time, as friends and adventurers.
  330.
  331. One night while camping after an adventure, Thalia awkwardly asks Serana if she needs to bite people. Serana laughs for a second, and says that she doesn't have to, and that Thalia need not worry.
  332. "But I've met some vampires that were feral, how does that happen" she asks, to which Serana explains the difference between being a pureblood vampire and simply having the vampiris disease.
  333. "Well, have you ever bitten someone?"
  334. A long moment passes.
  335. "When I was younger. I haven't in many thousands of years though"
  336. 'Well...do you want to?"
  337. The question obviously takes her off guard for a moment
  338. "What do you mean?"
  339. "W-well, I'm just wondering. I thought maybe you'd want to, and we're friends so, you know, if you were hungry or something..."
  340. Serana laughs again.
  341. "Really? You'd do that?"
  342. "Well I mean I was just wondering. If it doesn't kill me or something"
  343. The vampire laughs again. "No, I can make it so it doesn't kill you. Come here, I'll take you up on your offer. It's been thousands of years, after all. And it's interesting to have someone willing".
  344.
  345. Thalia's heart starts pounding. She didn't expect her to actually say yes. She slowly gets up and walks over to her friend.
  346. "Relax, lay next to me".
  347. Thalia sits down by the campfire and reclines against the log her friend is sitting on. Serana shifts a bit so she's right behind her friend. She brushes the hair aside, revealing Thalia's neck.
  348. "You have a beautiful neck" she says. Thalia thinks to herself that would be creepy as hell from anyone else. Actually, it's still a little creepy, even from her.
  349. Serana begins kissing her friend's neck a few times, slowly. It feels nice, and this is definitely different than how Thalia imagined this would go. Certainly a lot more "personal". Eventually Serana pauses for a second while her lips are against Thalia's skin, and opens her mouth slightly. A tiny pain, sharp but small. Enough to hurt but not as much as a wound. Serana exhales and makes a slight "mmmm" sound, as if she just bit into a sweetroll. Thalia is laying perfectly still, staring at the fire crackling. Serana's hands make their way to Thalia's shoulders, and grip them softly but firmly. Serana has been drinking for several seconds now, and her hands begin to hold more firmly as each second passes, until it begins to hurt a bit. She seems to have lost herself, and she closes her eyes and presses into her friend's neck more. Several more seconds pass, and Thalia feels as if she should remind her friend that this was just a playful idea. She starts to speak, but the words are caught in her throat as her friend's hands grip even harder and her nails dig into her shoulders. She becomes slightly afraid. She knows that her friend would never hurt her, but she has clearly lost herself in the moment and is enjoying it too much and seems to have lost track of reality. Thalia starts to shift forward a bit away from her, and raises her voice so that her friend can hear.
  350. "Serana, stop. You're starting to scare me".
  351. Serana's eyes suddenly dart open, and she releases her friend's shoulders immediately.
  352. "Oh, I'm sorry. It can be hard for us to stop sometimes. Feeding is not quite like eating food. It's almost like a compulsion. Plus, it's been so long for me. And you're so sweet...."
  353. "I'm w-what?".
  354. "Don't take it the wrong way. You're sweet. Some people have really sweet blood. Some say it goes along with a sweet personality, and that certainly holds true here" she says with a friendly smile.
  355. "Serana, this seemed like more than just learning about how vampires eat. it seemed really...intimate".
  356. The vampire crosses her hands in her lap, and seems to think for a moment.
  357. "Well, feeding is pretty intimate, even when it's not between people who know each other. And with you, well, I really like you".
  358. Thalia's heart flutters in her chest at those words. She had admired Serana for the entire time she had known her, but never built up the confidence to bring it up. What fortune, that she would feel the same.
  359. "Serana, I like you too. It's part of why I brought this up in the first place. I wanted to do something for you, I wanted to do this for you."
  360. The vampire smiles, "I figured. That's why now felt like a good time to tell you how I feel".
  361. Thalia stands up and walks over to Serana. She takes her hand, and Serana stands up to meet her. They embrace in a warm hug, until Thalia says "I'm glad you did" as the fire crackles behind them.
