  1. >What is this about?
  2. A group of Pokemon fans have started a petition to introduce a "hard mode" in the new Pokemon games, Sun and Moon, to give more strategic players a challenge. For more informations, read the petition: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/challenge-for-pokemon-sun-moon

  4. >How can I participate?
  5. Sign the petition and spread the word! Make threads about this campaign in forums, tell your friends, tweet about it with the hashtag #ChallengeForSunMoon (and optionally #PokemonUsedHarden)! If you are a YouTuber, make a video about it! But don't forget to include arguments why it can work. Take Operation Decode, ORAS and chinese language for Pokemon as an example.

  11. >Rules
  12. 1. Be respectful. On the internet, it's easy for movements to be painted as hyperbolic, selfish, or rude, this could tank the momentum of #ChallengeForSunMoon. Remember, we're not out to make enemies with others. We just want to suggest an optional difficulty mode to TPCi and Gamefreak. Our goal isn't to shame those who don't mind or enjoy easier difficulty, or insult those that liked XY and ORAS. We should also avoid bringing age into our arguments too much because not all older players dislike easy games, and not all younger players dislike hard games.
  13.
  14. Even if you're getting into an argument with someone who doesn't think the campaign has merit, remember to respond to them respectfully. We want our reputation to be as clean as possible. If someone you're debating starts throwing insults or brings up anything that is otherwise irrelevant or harmful to integrity of the discussion, then end the conversation right there. Our goal is to gather like-minded people for our cause. Not to brew up flame wars or attack others. TPCi and Nintendo won't want to acknowledge a movement with a poor reputation.
  15.
  16. 2. Don't spam. We're going to have to visit other Pokemon and gaming communities to spread, but we don't want to come off as overly persistent.
  17.
  18. When you want to bring up the campaign on another site remember to search and check and see if anybody has already made a thread about it first so people won't feel that their own communities are being assaulted by some forced meme.
  19.
  20. 3. Keep focus. The main and sole goal here is to convince Gamefreak to include an optional hard mode for Sun & Moon, if we start demanding other things down the road (following pokemon!, bigger postgame!, all regions), we risk muddying the meaning of the movement, and it can cause outsiders to think we're being unfair and asking for too much.
