Barrett Brown recently announced that he was leaving Anonymous and taking Operation Metal Gear with him. With the recent "civil war" the research team completely agreed that it was for the best. We could not get any real work done without something happening to our IRC and other resources. Everyone from the old research team that decided to follow Barrett has been added to the ProjectPM roster, located here. Under the leadership and organization of Barrett Brown I feel the Operations we are current involved in will go much smoother.

HBGary Federal
HBGary Federal a contracting firm working on Persona Management Software, Character Development, and other Surveillance Technologies. Has always shown that its had a strong relationship with Apple in certain emails retaining to creating a "team" of some sort.

I had a very good conversation with Apple today on the phone. I am going to meet with them in person tomorrow. They are interested in being on the team. I am going to do a little research but the more I think about this model I think we also need to look for a smaller social networking company, maybe like a foursquare and also a social gaming company maybe like zynga, gameloft, etc. Just a thought.

In the email above it shows that Aaron had been in contact with Apple trying to create a team for some reason.

In the next email from Aaron Barr, Aaron is bragging about how HBGary has a strong relationship with Google and Apple.

There were many replies and attachments with the emails before this retaining to Persona Management and Character Development that can be found in the link below. (A little disorganized). It shows how they were going to use Social Networks to create these fake online persona's.

Apple had been recently caught with tracking users location through the Iphone and Ipad. Once this hit the web, Apple had nowhere to go and became under investigation by Congress.
This scenario isn't going to help because in our past Barrett had got the FBI involved with an investigation with HBGary; however a member of congress stated that it wasn't the FBI's job it was -blank's- and the investigation was ultimately dropped.

Likewise I am having a hard time getting some other work done because my mind keeps going back to it.  Its a whole filler idea.  One of those that is a perfect idea for the evolution of the market.
Based on old work I am trying to get back I can probably get us in front of Apple and Google VC funders but thats about it for me.  I have to get out an updated outline for our social media course to Maria for Bank of the West but after that I am going to dedicated to write up a few pages on this idea.

In a January 15, 2010 email, Matt Sturges, Apple’s “Wester Regional Sales Manager, Department of Defense,” introduced Kemp to Barr, telling Kemp that Barr “has one [project] that he wanted to talk to you about that requires a clearance.” According to Sturges, Kemp “covers our Intel side of the business.” Andy responded, “I’m ready to meet whenever it is good for you. My clearances are ts/sci [top secret/secure compartmented information] with additional compartments, so I can meet wherever you choose.”

After an aborted attempt to meet on July 13, 2010–Andy had “been requested to be phoenix [sic] by a senior member at ODNI [Office of the Director of National Intelligence] – someone That [sic] I don’t say no to”–Andy Kemp, Aaron Barr, and several others from defense contractors TASC and Archimedes met on July 14, 2010.
