  1. [1:53:54 PM] Seventh Sandwich: slick
  2. [1:54:00 PM] Seventh Sandwich: I want to be semi-informed
  3. [1:54:09 PM] Seventh Sandwich: and considering this is probably at least 65% partisan propaganda
  4. [1:54:10 PM] Seventh Sandwich: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9G8XREyG0Q&feature=g-logo-xit
  5. [1:54:15 PM] Seventh Sandwich: point out the factual errors in this please
  6. [1:54:31 PM] Seventh Sandwich: seems reasonable but I'm not exactly an objective source since I've grown up among liberals my entire life
  7. [2:00:53 PM] Billy Fallon: well first off henry ford paid his workers $5 a day so that if they didnt work at absolute maximum capacity he could fire them and find a replacement instantly
  8. [2:00:57 PM] Billy Fallon: not so they could afford his cars
  9. [2:01:57 PM] Billy Fallon: obama himself is actually "pedalling" trickle-down economics from government employees into the private sector
  10. [2:02:46 PM] Billy Fallon: nobody has ever said tax cuts for the wealthy because that would alienate tons of people, in the debates romney said he would not cut taxes at ALL for the wealthy
  11. [2:04:11 PM] Billy Fallon: the time he references when the rich got tax cuts is also the same time we were paying billions in war costs, the economy was crashing, etc
  12. [2:04:17 PM] Billy Fallon: but prior to the economical crash
  13. [2:04:23 PM] Billy Fallon: it was going pretty much according to plan
  14. [2:04:37 PM] Billy Fallon: granted they were 5 million jobs off target
  15. [2:04:55 PM] Billy Fallon: but the economic crisis didn't arise from the tax cuts
  16. [2:05:00 PM] Billy Fallon: so that's a misleading thing to say
  17. [2:05:58 PM] Billy Fallon: lenders, etc "didn't have to abide by strong enough regulations" government regulation of things is a bad thing but i'm not going to go into full detail i'm not in the mood
  18. [2:06:35 PM] Billy Fallon: families were never tricked into buying homes they couldnt afford what the shit
  19. [2:07:10 PM] Billy Fallon: "You make $50,000 a year. Buy this house for $800,000! It'll only take you 50 years to pay off!"
  20. [2:07:34 PM] Billy Fallon: "huge reckless bets were made with other peoples money on the line" like what
  21. [2:08:16 PM] Billy Fallon: again, nobody is pushing tax cuts for the wealthy
  22. [2:08:25 PM] Billy Fallon: so the bulk of this is targetted against no one
  23. [2:08:29 PM] Billy Fallon: while saying they're targeting republicans
  24. [2:09:32 PM] Billy Fallon: the end has no political basis it's just pointless rallying
  25. [2:10:58 PM] Billy Fallon: all in all, it's misinformed on the goals of the republican party and selects data that is skewed by an infinite number of other things and claims its path was purely because of one reason then tries to continue propegating this theory of tax cuts for the rich when in reality nobody is trying to do that
  26. [2:11:24 PM] Billy Fallon: so in essence: propeganda
