[23:21:32] <zoofman> Rachel's in town, yes.

[23:22:26] <Night_Shade> "We can't deny the very real possibility that even if things work now while everything is calm, that we won't lose control of the ritual in the heat of the moment. I think this is a good time to get anything else squared away."
[23:23:02] * Dann- calls his parents during the brief downtime.

[23:25:32] <castfromhp> "This isn't gonna be as scary or dangerous as you're thinking." Tsubasa says. "The actual ritual, I mean. The attack on Daria's base..." She trails off.

[23:25:51] <Night_Shade> Night pulls Rachel aside. "I'm sorry, for everything that I did to you. I'm trying not to be that person any more, and I don't expect you to forgive me. I just want to apologize, for real."

[23:26:39] <Lucian> "If I mess up on the attack on Daria's base, then we lose Sue. Ergo, I won't let us screw it up."
[23:28:19] <zoofman> Lucian's is gunmetal grey, but doesn't seem very "solid."  It's more like paper-mache.
[23:29:07] <zoofman> Night Shade's is like someone took a really thick black paint, and dumped it onto another canvas.  You can see bits of the lower layer cracking through, but it's mostly blotted out.
[23:29:26] <castfromhp> Tsubasa takes out her phone, looks at it, then puts it away again. "Ehhhhhh, I'll call my parents after this is all over."
[23:29:39] <zoofman> You actually can't see your own through a mirror
[23:30:00] <zoofman> Tyrone says you look like that dusty nigga from Snoopy.
[23:30:30] <Dann-> "Sounds about right."
[23:31:56] <zoofman> Adrienne's is a really mellow red, not a lot of showy projection on it.
[23:33:07] <zoofman> Rachel seems earnestly surprised by that.  "It's okay, I forgive you a long time ago.  Never expected you to apologize, though.  Thank you."
[23:33:16] * Dann- looks around the room a lot, looking kind of spacey. At some point, he looks down at his own hands.
[23:33:53] <zoofman> Well, Tyrone wasn't lying.  You could limelight as the Charlie Brown character.
[23:34:05] <Night_Shade> Pigpen.
[23:35:45] <zoofman> By the way, Benedict didn't send the suplex ninjas after your exchange w/ Highlight.
[23:37:13] <Night_Shade> Night sniffles. "Thanks." He walks off to get his head right, because he's definitely not about to cry.
[23:37:14] <zoofman> Melinda raises a hand. "So...WHERE inside the secret base are we going to open the scary door?"
[23:37:28] <castfromhp> Kenneth enters the inn and looks around for a moment before finding you all and approaching with a smile and a wave. "Hey kids." He then turns to Tyrone in surprise and holds out a fist. "Been a while homie." He says to him.

[23:39:57] * Dann- stops focusing on auras for a bit to help his headache.
[23:40:03] <castfromhp> "Nick and I have been talking how we're organizing the teams when we hit Daria." Kenneth says, turning back to the rest of you. "Figures we should hit them from multiple sides, maybe have a team dedicated to taking out their control center for security, someone else leads a team into the psychic labs, and so on. Figured you might want some input into it."
[23:40:34] <castfromhp> "I take it you and the other magi will lead your own team to a good spot for the Reverse World portal?"
[23:42:50] <Night_Shade> "Yeah, we'll need to find a place where we can set up in relative safety."
[23:44:46] <castfromhp> "We've got people on recon duty, using reflection seismology equipment and thermal scans, so we can get you a good idea of what's where."
[23:45:48] <castfromhp> "We would've asked Night to be on the team Bing's leading into the psychic labs, but I figured you would need to stick together." Kenneth says.
[23:46:30] * Lucian considers it, "We...don't necessarily need to."
[23:46:31] <castfromhp> "Otherwise, Nick, me, and the other Watchers are gonna try to create everyone's entry points then hit the security center if we can figure out where it is."
[23:46:48] <Lucian> "If Night is better suited for another team I'd like to raise our rates of success across the board."
[23:46:52] <Night_Shade> "Get Caitlyn to do it."
[23:47:18] <Night_Shade> "I'm the fucking Violet Witch and I am getting this ritual done."
[23:47:49] <castfromhp> "Bing, Caitlyn, and Astrid are the three leading that team now." Kenneth says. "We'll have a band of Watchers assigned to each, of course, as many as we can spare."
[23:47:58] <Lucian> "We can meet up once we're inside, Night."
[23:48:11] <Lucian> "We have the plans to the facility and its creator on speed dial."
[23:48:19] <Lucian> "Or rather, I have its creator on speed dial."
[23:49:15] <Night_Shade> "Why don't YOU go with the psychic squad? You're not exactly critical to the portal."
[23:49:16] <castfromhp> "You have the plans? How?"
[23:50:18] * Dann- sighs and facepalms.
[23:50:23] * Lucian shows them the binder.
[23:50:44] <Lucian> "I'll go with whatever team needs me most Night."
[23:51:26] <Lucian> "This isn't about any individual plan anymore, it's about what we can all contribute to make the entire operation a success."
[23:52:19] <castfromhp> "Wait, stop your dumb arguing and tell me more about this thing where you have the facility plans and can call the creator. If this is a dumb joke I'm calling Nick right now to suplex you." Kenneth holds up a hand.

[23:52:30] <castfromhp> "And then Tyrone right here."
[23:52:54] <castfromhp> Kenneth snatches the binder. "Holy shit."
[23:53:03] <Night_Shade> "That guy Melkore drew up the plans."
[23:53:12] <Lucian> "This is the work of someone we know, his name is Melkore. He's helped Bing and other people around the region design structures and facilities."
[23:53:17] <Night_Shade> "Lucian is convinced that means he'll help us and NOT that he's working for Daria."
[23:53:42] <castfromhp> "Also if you think you're best sticking with the magi team, that's 100% fine." Kenneth says, now absorbed by the binder.
[23:53:43] <Lucian> "We can't discount everyone on account of a corporation spending money to hire goods and services."
[23:54:08] <Lucian> "And Melkore is good at what he does."
[23:54:32] <Lucian> "I helped him get his career off the ground once and I'm confident he can pay me back for that."
[23:55:08] * Dann- shakes his head. "If there's any chance he's on Daria's pocket, we can't contact him."
[23:55:09] <castfromhp> "Some of this doesn't -quite- match up with what we've discovered in our recon yet. It's...not as deadly as what we've found." Kenneth says with a frown. "I don't think Daria made him fully aware of why he was designing this."
[23:55:16] <zoofman> Tyrone: "So should we be thankin, or suplexin' you?" He asks that Lucian

[23:55:38] <Dann-> "Thank piracy."
[23:57:51] * Lucian rolls his eyes, "Melkore is a friend. I'm not going to be snapping at shadows because I've been burned before. I did that once and I won't let myself do it again. There may be risks involved but I think talking to him could be worth it."
[23:58:56] <castfromhp> "We'll run a background check. You still busy prepping your mojo, or do you want in on the call if we decide to make it?"
