- Peach accidently detonates a land mine while trying to arm it.
- Night 3:
- Mario and King Boo run into each other and decide to truce for the night.
- Bowser Jr, loses sight of where he is.

- The arena turns pitch black and nobody can see a thing.
- While fighting, Bowser Jr, and Birdo lose their balance, roll down a jagged hillside, and die.
- While fighting, Mario and Toad lose their balance, roll down a jagged hillside, and die.
- King Boo accidently makes contact with spiny, lethal plant life.
