  1. < EDITED BRUH. The event is more of an introduction for a plotline. >
  2.
  3.
  4.
  5. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: The Frontiersmen are alerted to a strange energy signal, the Globetrotter's computer was ablaze with readings of unknown energy signatures coming from Earth's moon. Fearing some kind of superweapon, several of the Frontiersmen are sent to investigate immediately. Loading onto the ship, we join said team as they near the lunar surface, the readings spiking and fluctuating from a single point. Expecting some kind of cannon, they're surprised to find what looks like a single man, standing in one spot and simply looking at the earth with unshaking focus. He doesn't even give the ship a fleeting glance as they arrive.
  6.
  7.
  8.
  9. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "I have a visual on someone," Watchman says, sitting in the navigator's seat as he presses a few buttons on the holoterminal. "I've got no data on him."
  10.
  11. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: Ultima King hovers in place, statue still, looking through the ships view port at the figure. "In these times, even a single being can be a weapon of mass destruction," he mutters as he prepares to disembark. "Of course, he could be friendly." He gives a dark chuckle to show he doesn't really believe that.
  12.
  13. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "A friend until proven otherwise, Magicfriend," he says, ready to step out into the void of space.
  14.
  15. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "I might have to stay on the ship, but if you really need me, I can use one of the rebreather helmets."
  16.
  17. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "Let's meet him and find out," he says to Star before nodding over to Watchman. "Be careful." He speaks a single word and seems to fold into himself, disappearing in a flash to reappear near the mystery man. "Quite a view, isn't it?"
  18.
  19.
  20.
  21. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: The ship picks up another strange reading: apparently, there's gravity in the area, furthermore, atmosphere, breathable oxygen. It's like the large man is producing it. The area around him is completely survivable. The large man says nothing when approached, continuing his hard stare at the earth.
  22.
  23.
  24.
  25. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "He's not terribly talkative," King reports back.
  26.
  27. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "Globetrotter's reading an atmosphere similar to Earth's: similar oxygen levels, the acceleration of gravity is almost completely the same. Odd."
  28.
  29. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "Interesting..." King mutters over his comm. "No doubt caused by our tourist here."
  30.
  31. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "Hello friend! I am Starlancer or as the humans nicknamed me Tycho. Do you like the earth? I'm more into Sol myself." He gestures at the Sun, "She is a feisty lady."
  32.
  33.
  34.
  35. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: "Are you champions of Earth?" he says finally, his voice sounding much, much louder then you would think.
  36.
  37.
  38.
  39. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "I'm tempted to verify this. I'll run a few tests, and if they check out, I'll meet you outside."
  40.
  41. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "Understood," King answers Watchman then turns his attention to the man. "You could say that, yes."
  42.
  43. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: The man doesn't turn his gaze away from the planet. "I am one of Noo'om. Your celestial satellite has been chosen. Soon, you will bask in the ever-growing life force of Noo'om. You will become more then you are. You are blessed."
  44.
  45. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "Care to elaborate? That sounds a bit ominous to me."
  46.
  47. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "I heard him over comms. I'd be careful, gentlemen."
  48.
  49. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "I am not a champion of Earth, but I will gladly be Sol's champion; however, I agree with Magicfriend, that did sound ominous."
  50.
  51.
  52.
  53. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: "Your moon shall become host of the power of Noo'om, just like many before it. You shall be rewarded with great power and life." He says, "I was once inferior myself. But I was touched by Noo'om. Now I am one with Noo'om, I am eternal. I am Noo'om."
  54.
  55.
  56.
  57. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: King nods his head slowly. "I see. A being offering great power. And all we have to do is join with it," King tsks. "I'm afraid we will have to reject your patron's kind offer."
  58.
  59. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: "You have little choice, You've been chosen. Do not be afraid, soon you will feel the everlasting power of Noo'om."
  60.
  61. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "Are there not lifeforms living on the earth's moon? I mean, I feel that you'd want to talk with them about moving in."
  62.
  63. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: "They are of little consequence."
  64.
  65. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "That seems rude."
  66.
  67. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "I think that you misunderstand." King says, more firmly. "You and your patron are not welcome here. Leave."
  68.
  69.
  70.
  71. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: "I will not," he says, still not looking at the three. He seems completely unthreatened. "I welcome you to try and remove me."
  72.
  73.
  74.
  75. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "If you will not be reasonable, there is no other choice," he nods and raises his hands, mystic energy sparking to life around his arms. "Watchman, Starlancer... prepare yourselves. We cannot allow this being to accomplish its goal."
  76.
  77.
  78.
  79. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: "I am simply here to guard this body until the power of Noo'om comes to claim it. Should you even manage to combat me effectively, it would mean nothing. Noo'om will still come, and you will all become one with his power." The large man holds his arms out. Gold energy, not unsimilar to the energy seen when Rocket is in flight, begins to stream around him. "Come, feel the power of his embrace, his eternal love, and his power."
  80.
  81.
  82.
  83. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "Is it fighting time? I do love fighting time." He holds his arm out and his staff flies off his back and into his hand, "Then we will stop this Nyoom~ too!"
  84.
  85. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "To protect the earth, I will do whatever it takes. Let your master come, I will send him screaming into the abyss." He thrusts both fists forward and fires a stream of mystic energy cascades towards the Noo'omian.
  86.
  87. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "No one threatens Sol or her children, notfriend." He aims his staff at the man and opens fire with its energy bolts.
  88.
  89. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: Watchman continues to monitor the fight from inside the Globetrotter, attempting to gather data on the enemy.
  90.
  91.
  92.
  93. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: Both the energy blast and the starbolts rip towards the Noo'om watcher. He lifts a hand in front of him, and both blasts fizzle out before reaching him. "A star staff... an elegant weapon, but not compared to the power of Noo'om. And your mystical power...formidable."
  94.
  95.
  96.
  97. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "I do not like this servant of Numanuma."
  98.
  99.
  100.
  101. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: The Noo'omian gently lifts his hand, then sweeps from left to right. That golden energy that surrounds him cascades out into a large, wide blast. The power erupts in front of the two heroes, causing a huge, powerful explosion, scarring the terrain for about 50 yards out from the source of impact, attempting to just wipe them out in one shot.
  102.
  103.
  104.
  105. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "I have not begun to tap into my powers. Find another place for your master, neither of you are welcome." King brings up his hands, a golden barrier rippling into life in front of him. It shatters under the impact of the blast, forcing him back through the air until he can catch himself. "May the soil of this place reject you!" He stabs his hands towards the ground and there's a tremor below him. An enormous creature made of the rocky surface of the moon itself rises and roars, charging towards the Noo'omian and swinging a massive fist!
  106.
  107. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: Starlancer holds his staff forward as he brings up a barrier to protect himself but is still forced back by the blast. Dropping it once the attack is over, he charges a blast and send it at Numa.
  108.
  109. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "He's not playing around, you two." Watchman presses another button before getting out of his seat. "I'm going to man the photon turret."
  110.
  111. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "I have the feeling we'll need everything we can get."
  112.
  113.
  114.
  115. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: The Noo'omian looks at both the oncoming blast and the giant rock creature. In one swift move, he slaps the charged starbolt out of the air at the rock creature, causing it to explode in the creature's face. He then looks at Ultima King. "Do not let it be said that I am not without mercy." He then vanishes in a flash of golden cosmic power only to appear again behind Ultima, swinging a sharp backhand towards him.
  116.
  117.
  118.
  119. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: A golden shield springs into life at the last moment, but Ultima King is still sent flying. He skids across the ground a moment before rising. From a crouched position he raises both hands, turning shards of the broken golem into mystically-charged razor sharp missiles. They break the sound barrier as they hurtle towards Mr. Noo'om 2016.
  120.
  121. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: Starlancer eyes the man, "Fine, I'll take the gloves off my training wheels." The staff flies back to his back and charges forward at Numnums with a barrage of punches and kicks.
  122.
  123. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: Watchman climbs into the turret hatch, playing with the controls before aiming it at the aggressor. When he feels that his allies aren't near the target, he fires a photon blast at him.
  124.
  125.
  126.
  127. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: The blades hit the Noo'omian while he's busy slapping away the punches and kicks and manages to take one in his shoulder. This causes the large man to look down at his arm. The blade made a clean cut. He looks at it slightly then point-blank blasts Starlancer away with his free hand. It's not a super powerful blast, it hurts, but it repels more then anything. The hole in his arm seals up just as the photon blasts strike him. There's a dustcloud, and the Noo'omian can't be seen from within it.
  128.
  129.
  130.
  131. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "Visual on the target?" Watchman asks, unsure if the turret actually did anything.
  132.
  133. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: Starlancer flies up a bit, "Negative, though I am tempted to blast the area just in case."
  134.
  135. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "I can't see him. But I doubt that was it." King breathes and gets back to his feet. He makes a gesture in the air, gathering mystic energy for his next spell.
  136.
  137. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "We seem to be short-staffed here. Where's Collider when you need him?" Watchman flicks a switch, attempting to recharge the cannon.
  138.
  139.
  140.
  141. [NU VU] Ne'er do well@CapsLockRAGE: When the dust settles, the Noo'omian stands there, relatively unscathed. "Two months of your Earth time," he says, before vanishing and reappearing in a flash above the ship, casually ripping off one of the powerful guns. "That is the time you have to prepare." He vanishes again, this time to appear in front of Starlancer, peering down at him. "I suggest you spend your time well," he states, before vanishing again, this time without reappearing. The atmosphere around suddenly feels as though the air and gravity were completely sucked away.
  142.
  143.
  144.
  145. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: King lowers his arms, maintaining his hover as gravity shifts. The lack of air doesn't bother him, thankfully. "Too many problems, not enough solutions," he mutters, flicking his hands and sending his mystic energy away. "We need to find information on this... Noo'om."
  146.
  147. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: Watchman braces himself as the ship rumbles from one of the guns being torn off of the vessel. "Great. We just lost the photon turret."
  148.
  149. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "...and we need to get the ship repaired again." He sighs. "You're alright, at least?"
  150.
  151. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: "I'm fine, but what about you two? That fight didn't seem easy."
  152.
  153. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "The Captain is not going to be happy about that. I'm fine."
  154.
  155. [NU VU] Ultima King@GeneralFreedom: "Head's ringing, but I'll live." King nods to Starlancer before teleporting back to the ship.
  156.
  157. [NU VU] Starlancer@Keioseth: "I will face this Nyomiman and triumph!" He nods before flying back to the ship.
  158.
  159. [NU VU] Watchman@Alstann: Watchman climbs out of the hatch, making his way back to the navigator's seat. "I'll see if we can set up a meeting with Collider and some other team members."
  160.
