  1. [15:50:49] Dum, dee, dum. Tilandre would sure be more fun if most of the people didn't have this weirdly happy look on their faces. It's enough to make a carnage-loving princess display the complete opposite as she strolls along the streets-- immense dissatisfaction. The emotion is enough to agitate her mana circuits, and those around her would notice the air getting rather warm.
  2.
  3. Every so often, she'd stop-- whether to lob a stone towards a window, or to trample some errant flowers. But such petty gestures weren't enough to quench her ire. While scouting about for the next target of her wrath, Tia notices a pair of young children. Younger than her, visibly so. Weird. She hadn't really entertained the notion of growing bigger, and how the passage of time works. Hmmm...
  4.
  5. "Hey, you two," she calls over, beckoning them with a floppy hand. Already, her mind is percolating the various forms of mischief she could get up to with this duo-- one lass can only do so much, but three with a single goal? The possibilities are endless.
  6.
  7. "C'mere! What's your names?"
  8. (Tiamat Ornstein)
  9. [15:57:39] Woohoo, a new person! Alex followed Lucille around pretty much everywhere she went. It was kind of odd that she was doing the following despite being the more bombastic and "active" one, but sometimes things work out oddly like that. Either way, upon meeting this new person, Alex excitedly leaped in front of Lucille and jumped circles around her, unable to contain her excitement at the prospect of meeting someone new.
  10.
  11. "Hi I'm Alex this is Lucille we're princesses and cool and I'm bored and she might be bored but she doesn't like fighting much so she probably gets bored too and you might be bored so let's get un-bored!"
  12.
  13. Alex's speech patterns while excited resembled her thought patterns- scattered, continuous, vaguely linked, and they tended to be one long run-on sentence.
  14.
  15. "What's your naaaaaaaaaaame?!"
  16. (Alexandra Eldor)
  17. [16:02:46] Obediently, the other little princess ambles up, somehow avoiding all of Alexandra's energetic flailing. It was almost immediately obvious what the dynamic between these two is; Lucille is calm, if anxious, and her steps are small and measured. Her hair is expertly styled, opulent garb immaculately clean with nothing out of place...
  18.
  19. Yep! Just about the polar opposite of her counterpart. Phenomenally less excited than Alexandra, she shoots Tiamat a skeptical, red eyed squint. What did she want?
  20.
  21. "Yeah... Who are you?"
  22. (Lucille Eldor)
  23. [16:11:18] Bending her knees slightly to better face the little pwincesses, Tia flashes them the most sincere grin you could ever see. Like, dang, check out those pearly whites. With a totally not condescending tone, she trills over the duo like a cat on caviar island.
  24.
  25. "Awww, you two are such cuties! I'm Tiamat, and I'm a princess too!" Well, she's not wrong. In the space of a few years, there could very well be a succession crisis. "I'm very bored, so let's work together to fix that! What do you wanna do?"
  26.
  27. A hand is offered to them, inviting them to grasp it in a show of COOPERATION. What end such a pact would be used for, though, remains to be seen.
  28.
  29. It probably wouldn't make King Ose all too happy.
  30. (Tiamat Ornstein)
  31. [16:13:00] Lucille Eldor: (i'mmmmm gonna go ahead and post since jesse went off for food
  32. [16:19:50] A flitting, anxious glance over to Alexandra. She was probably all for this arrangement, but this little Eldor was as skeptical as ever! Regardless, in anticipation of the more energetic of the duo, Lucille extends her tiny hand, gloved in delicate white, to grasp Tiamat's own.
  33.
  34. Even with the conmpact virtually made, she has questions!
  35.
  36. "Princess of what? We're -- We're the only, we're the only Tilandre princesses. Are you... Are you a Byson person? Or. Or maybe somewhere else?"
  37. (Lucille Eldor)
  38. [16:47:08] After an extreme lapse in attention span due to her player going out to eat, Alexandra finally snapped back to reality and looked around, wiping a bit of drool from under her chin. Shortly after coming to, she noticed that another princess offered them a good time! And not the kind that you have to call a number on a bathroom stall for!!! (she hoped). So, Alex took Tiamat's hand and nodded her head repeatedly, before finally calming herself down.
  39.
  40. Not before she excitedly yelled her response to the proposal, mind.
  41.
  42. "YES LET'S HAVE FUN."
  43.
  44. Alex cared not for any questions- she cared only for fun. Of course, it was up to Tiamat to answer, but Alex didn't wait for pleasantries to immediately take her up on her offer.
  45. (Alexandra Eldor)
  46. [16:55:40] Awww, yes-- two hands in one hand. Birds in one stone. You get the drift. Though Alex's exuberance is met with a wide cheshire grin, Tia makes a point to cock an eyebrow at her more recalcitrant sister. Only Tilandre princesses? How presumptuous.
  47.
  48. "I'm a Tilandre princess too, actually. My daddy was King Joolien Ornstein before he went and died." Her proclamation is proud, with her chest puffed out for emphasis. For a brief instant, she actually emanates the sort of presence one might expect of a child of royalty-- regal, dignified. Then her grin breaks out again and she tugs at their hands.
  49.
  50. "Let's go fishing! Do you know any magic?"
  51. (Tiamat Ornstein)
  52. [17:04:12] Fishing? That sounded... Fiiiine. Ish. Having both of their hands smushed together in Tiamat's was awfully uncomfortable, though -- she extricates her own with an awkward wiggle, choosing to trail along behind the older princess without tugging.
  53.
  54. "Well... You're not. You're not in line like we are! Me and, me and Alex come first. One of us is gonna be Queen someday! Or... Both of us! Double queen." A firm nod; that seemed like a reasonable outcome.
  55.
  56. "Um -- I know magic, though! So does, so does Alex. I do. Water stuff. And... Fire. Steam. Fwoosh. She does..." Well! Alex would probably be more than happy to explain on her own, and thusly the opportunity is afforded to her, garishly becloaked Lucille trailing along behind the other two!
  57. (Lucille Eldor)
  58. [17:08:28] Alex made several hand motions that really weren't all too coherent, but they were apparently meant to be spooky. Occult magic rose up from the hands, showing that she did in fact use dark magic. She also made a few more hand motions, showing she had lightning and wind. Nonverbal communication wasn't her forte, though, so if she didn't show off the magic while motioning, none of it would've made sense.
  59.
  60. "We're always in a line together! We'll make sure nobody can overblow us!"
  61.
  62. She keeps getting that word wrong.
  63.
  64. "Anyways I know spooky, wind, and lightning magic. They're all fun. Really fun. I'm okay at it for my age, but I wanna get a lot better!"
  65.
  66. Fishing sounded boring, but Alex would be willing to try anything.
  67. (Alexandra Eldor)
  68. [17:23:50] "Doesn't make me not a princess," Tia chastises with a waggling finger, the same way so many adults would do to her after she broke something they liked. Being big is fun! The thought of chipping away at a child's spirit is but a trickle of satisfaction, but she can see why adults do it so often now, yeeeesss. "If you're in line, does that mean you're King Ose's kids? I like him, he's nice!"
  69.
  70. Leading the pack like a mama duck, the Ornstein heads to the docks with her two sub-princesses in tow. Once they reach the end of a pier, she twirls on one foot to face them. Her grin pervades, as manic as ever.
  71.
  72. "Hmmmm... I dunno about spooky, but lightning will work! As for you..." she eyes Lucy with dull golden eyes, rubbing her chin in an appraising manner. "Not sure if water or steam would work. But let's try anyway! Today we're gonna do magical fishing!"
  73.
  74. Peering over the side, she squints to discern some dark flitting shapes in the water. With the docked ships nearby always tossing out assorted waste, there is always a plethora of scavenging fish about in a feeding frenzy. Tiamat grins--how little they suspect their doom.
  75.
  76. "Just do what I do, ok?" Raising her arms, she allows the anticipation and glee to infuse her senses, mana surging through her circuits from the symbolic evocation. With a great crackle, she calls down a bolt of lightning into the water. A mild shockwave and a splash resounds-- seconds later, the surface of the water is bobbing with twitching corpses.
  77.
  78. "Now you try," she offers with excitement to her ducklings.
  79. (Tiamat Ornstein)
  80. [17:31:31] Shriiiiiieeeek!
  81.
  82. Not at the crash of lightning, no -- but at the corpses bubbling up from the water. This was the girl who, four years past, batted a twitching fishie out of Mrs. Kat's mouth and back into the water... And her love for animals, acquatic and otherwise, persists!
  83.
  84. So... This was utterly unacceptable. "Nooo! You -- You killed them, look! That huuurt them, you, you...!"
  85.
  86. In a panic, Lucille grasps a lace-wrapped hand out to the salty waters, seizing at them through the ether. Ephemeral tendrils of mana twist invisibly out to the depths, threading into the water and placing it firmly under the princess's instinctual command. In a flash, a thick, wavering tendril of the stuff bubbles up, displacing some of the bobbing corpses. It winds up, towards the docks, towards Tiamat's feet...
  87.
  88. "You... You JERK!"
  89. (Lucille Eldor)
  90. [17:31:31] As with anything that required concentration or finesse, fishing didn't seem like the kind of thing that Alex would successfuly do. She was impatient, energetic, a little bit bloodthirsty for her age, and had all the tools needed to make life a living Atmos for those poor fish. So, she turned away from the deck, making sure not to accidentally fry Lucille's "half." Alex concentrated a bit, focusing on the targets at hand, and...
  91.
  92. Sneezed.
  93.
  94. With that, she accidentally shot out a large pulse of lightning magic, causing a large bundle of fish to rise up to the surface, some already cooked, some not. Some were slowly suffering and dying. Alex just found this amazing.
  95.
  96. "COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! I'm hungry now! How do I get them!?"
  97. (Alexandra Eldor)
  98. [17:42:36] Her expression of glee at Alex's most wonderfully enthusiastic response is almost immediately erased by Lucy's uproar, prompting the older princess to turn towards the protesting child with a confused expression. Why would she be so upset over a bunch of dead fish?
  99.
  100. "Why're you calling me a jerk? It's fun! Is it just 'cause your magic can't do it?" she retorts, sneering at the watery protuberance and then giving the girl a poke on the chest. "I'm sure you can get some of them if you try hard enough! There's plenty more, just look."
  101.
  102. A gesture is made towards the waves, where already the less scrupulous survivors are nibbling at their fried kin. If she's aware of the danger the wee Eldor poses, she sure isn't concerned about it. Or maybe she's just that oblivious.
  103. (Tiamat Ornstein)
  104. [17:50:17] Aughhh!! Poked! Together with the violence, this level of insolence would not stand, not from some... some... Fish killer lady! And who was she to say that... That Lucille's magic couldn't do it?
  105.
  106. "Yeah, well... Well! MY magic can do, it can do this!"
  107.
  108. It was perhaps fortunate that Tiamat's indiscretions had distracted Lucille from Alexandra's mirroring, for the demonstration she had in store was a wet one indeed, and rather unpleasant! The princess's delicate little fist disassembles and swipes backwards, as if she were giving the haughty Ornstein a backhanded slap -- though no part of her hand so much as brushes against her.
  109.
  110. Instead, the swelling pseudopod of saltwater gushes onto the docks, imbued with a distressingly potent solidity, and in a flash it winds around Tiamat's ankles! The hand rises, and she is lifted into the air upside down, perhaps ten feet above the water's surface. The constriction is tight enough to bruise, and Lucille is not exactly stable with the motions of her magic -- it sways back and forth unpleasantly, trembling just like her unsteady hand.
  111.
  112. "See!"
  113. (Lucille Eldor)
  114. [17:53:42] Tiamat Ornstein: [oops i'll wait on alex]
  115. [17:55:24] Unfortunately, her question remained nanswered, so it was up to Alexto fill in the blanks. She looked down at the fish that she collected and rubbed her chin, wondering the best way to go about picking them up. Did she bring a net? Nope. Did she use her clothes? No, this 7-year old is in no way lewd. So it looked like her only option was to dive.
  116.
  117. She didn't know how to swim.
  118.
  119. So, she improvised, and used her wind magic to the best of her abilities to create a bubble of air that surrounded her, as she dove in headfirst and picked up the fish one by one. Unfrtunately, and she fully realized this, her mana gave out rather quickly and she began to sink.
  120.
  121. "glub glub glub (translators note: "this was a bad idea")"
  122. (Alexandra Eldor)
  123. [18:06:30] Whatever snarky response Tia has in store is swept away quite literally by what feels like a tidal wave, throwing her roughly onto the docks and then dragging her by the ankle to suspend like like the catch of the day. It's a good thing she's wearing shorts, because her dress is upended and obscuring her upper body, further lending to the disorientation she feels from all the swaying about.
  124.
  125. With no frame of reference to gauge her motions, the Ornstein quickly begins to feel a woozy, nauseous sensation. In between suppressing gagging motions, she waves her arms wildly, the peripherals of Alex's wind magic causing her to shiver with cold. This is not pleasant! It's not even unpleasant in a pleasant way!
  126.
  127. "How dare you," she screeches indignantly, flailing her arms haphazardly and only exacerbating the pendulum motions. With her rage comes fiery heat, and barely formed fireballs are flung about at random, far more likely to hit sails and hulls rather than the aggressor. "I'm older than you, you can't do this! Put me down!"
  128. (Tiamat Ornstein)
  129. [18:14:11] "Stop that!!!"
  130.
  131. After a couple of fireballs are thrown, the tendril splits off at its base, forming into two. The second, less dense, moves to encompass Tiamat's hands and quench her fledgeling flames! Embers smoulder on the dock and some unfortunate vessels, but... She couldn't split her attention THAT many ways. Why, if one more distraction came about, she might --
  132.
  133. "Wha -- Alex!! Get... Get back up -- YOU! Grab her! She's sinking, look!"
  134.
  135. What was the saying? When all you have is a water tentacle, everything seems like ankles? Close enough. Rather than employ the far more obvious and safe solution of simply magicking Alexandra back up to the surface with her control over the aquatic, the tendril holding Tiamat tenses for a brief moment and then whips her downwards towards the surface of the water, plunging her halfway in. In a very unpleasant and nausea inducing second, she is well within reach of the hungry young Eldor -- though she might suffer some distress from hitting the cold salt so quickly.
  136.
  137. "Save her!!!"
  138. (Lucille Eldor)
