  56.
  57. a. There is no need to create every single class to test them, as there is an area for exactly that: https://ro.my.com/forum/thread/10209-test-any-class-you-want/
  58.
  59. b. DO NOT TRY TO RUSH TO END-GAME! The reason for this is because PvE and PvP are split into brackets: 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70-79. Solo dungeons scale to your level, but more importantly: One of your Demonslayer weeklies is determined by what bracket you're in, and is usually the hardest mode that can be chosen for whatever dungeon they select for that week. If you can't complete it, you're missing out on valuable XP, mats and rank points. Take your time to gear between brackets (and morph your skills, depending on your class), as it's more beneficial in the long run.
  60.
  61. c. Splitting stats into a 1:1 combination throughout your Revelation journey might not be a good idea. Check Chinese guides, usually there's a cap for secondary stats. These guides do give insight on the Unparalleled skills you should get. Luckily for you, CN gives out free stat resets until level 59.
  62.
  63. d. Level up your Social skills as soon as you can, they are important latter on.
  64.
  65. e. Doing story quests is not a necessity. Learning quests from the white-haired NPC and dailies/weeklies are (the learning quests are orange in color). Prioritize your learning quests, your Demonslayer dailies, and then other dungeon dailies listed under "O." If you have spare time, you can do your weekly quests all at once too.
  66.
  67. It is possible to fly past levels by doing dailies/weeklies alone.
  68.
  69. f. You gear comes from fusing various materials to form yellow-grade gear. Such mats come from the Demonslayer store (if you have reached the appropriate Demonslayer rank), or from God Mode dungeons. In fact, the Hell Mode version drops some of the actual gear parts like gloves, boots, etc., so that means lesser time needed to gather mats. (Note: The gear parts are the same as the fused ones.)
  70.
  71. At level 30+, you will only be able to get a yellow grade weapon. At higher levels, you can get more parts like armor and accessories.
  72.
  73. g. Every week, you can collect your Exorcist reward from the Exorcist tab.
  74.
  75. h. If you have the time, participate in daily/weekly events such as the fishing competition and game board event.
  76.
  77. i. SAVE 2X EXP POTIONS FOR THE GRINDING DAILY
  78.
  79. j. This game makes people sociable by letting high-leveled players carry low-level newbies. The high-leveled players can get rewards as well as reputation that can be used to buy stuff. When you've reached the required level, find a mentor willing to help you, and do the same for those who are just starting out - the bonuses are worth it!
  80.
  81. Carrying a newbie through a God Mode difficulty dungeon will not use up your own God Mode entry for the week.
  82.
  83. k. The only pure DPS classes are Swordmage and Gunslinger. The DPS difference between them is marginal, but Swordmage is harder to play than Gunslinger.
  84.
  85. l. You can take pretty screenshots by using the free camera mode, accessible by pressing the camera button at the upper left of your screen.
  86.
  87. m. Don't skip cutscenes if you want free accessories for your character, such as headbands and bows.
  88.
  89. n. Use your Ultimate skills as much as possible to level them. This eventually becomes mandatory in order to progress your character.
  90.
  91. o. Bosses have different areas on their bodies marked by circles that you can attack or even break for various effects, such as for more damage, less CC resist, or even to interrupt a powerful spell. Some quests require certain parts to be broken for completion.
  92.
  93. p. Even if you're not a crafter, it's beneficial to do the weekly 100-part quest chain in order to get recipes. These can then be sold for money.
  94.
  95. q. Please don't attempt to solo the game, and consult a guide or ask the thread if you're stuck.
  96.
  97. 6. I need help creating a character! Are there sites where I can download presets?
  98. http://pastebin.com/wUyTFjCD
  99.
  100. 7. How do I play the Chinese version, or register an account to access the free character presets?
  101. http://pastebin.com/nxKkwXHD
  102.
  103. 8. Where can I get more information on _______?
  104. https://ro.my.com/forum/thread/6242-the-library-links-to-guides/?s=44de0055b27ba3633a40bad7384c571640396b65
  105. http://dulfy.net/category/ro/
  106.
  107. 9. Are there any skill or stat calculators?
  108. http://nogaruka.net/revelationonline/ is the main skill calculator, but it's inaccurate. Only use it to get an idea of how you can build your character.
  109.
  110. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1rrJOLoJsO-Cqgo7BPZ8YZFFyq6JM9BWQRf2Rgv3tXTY/edit#gid=448077723 is a stat calculator that a friendly anon made.
  111.
  112. 10. How does the Master and Apprentice system work?
  113. http://dulfy.net/2016/10/18/revelation-online-friends-and-mentoring-guide/ is a very comprehensive guide to the Master and Apprentice system.
  114.
  115. 11. How many Masters and Apprentices can I have?
  116. Each player can have up to 3 Masters and 5 Apprentices.
  117.
  118. 12. Are there any benefits or rewards for Masters and Apprentices?
  119. You can gain a "Master and Apprentice" title, reward chests, exclusive "Master and Apprentice" costumes, and emotes. You also gain more XP from going to the Hot Springs with your Master.
  120.
  121. 13. Do they give you permanent wings for free, or can they only be bought from the cash shop?
  122. You get a permanent pair of wings at level 30 that can be upgraded for more speed. You can also craft wings, even the ones in the cash shop, but it may take months of gathering mats.
  123.
  124. 14. What does raising your Friendship with someone do?
  125. You can build more Friendship points with your friends by partying with them for group activities. You can also send them in-game gifts to boost your Friendship. Once you reach 3,000 Friendship, you have the option to marry them. Beyond marriage, Friendship doesn't do anything besides track how much you've played with certain people.
  126.
  127. 15. How does the guild system work?
  128. THE BASICS: The guild uses resources to maintain and build buildings. If there are not enough resources for a period of time or if the guild goes inactive, the guild will AUTOMATICALLY DISBAND. Therefore, every member needs to do their part for the guild and contribute.
  129.
  130. You can contribute to the guild by donating guild items gained from doing guild quests and running dungeons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hh062DZHEqg shows how to enter your headquarters and also how to do guild quests.

  142.
  143. 18. I'm not entirely happy with the way the game looks. How can I make it look better?
  144. https://reshade.me/ is a handy program that can make the game look much better, at the cost of FPS.
  145.

  148.
  149. 19. What is there to do at "end-game"?
  150. It will take you a long time to reach Revelation's true "end-game," which is the last bracket: 70-79. You can do raids, higher difficulty dungeons, PvP, or simply chill with your friends in your guild headquarters or your private room. You can try to collect as many achievements as possible, build up your reputation for sweet rewards, or work on maximizing your crafting. More features are always being added, but remember that Revelation is a social game - don't play alone, and have fun!
  151.
  152. 20. Is this game P2W?
  153. http://pastebin.com/euQfmM3q
  154.
  155. 21. Subjective CONS of the game
  156. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSvSYl9UX8o is a good video that highlights the PROS as well as the CONS of the game in an unbiased manner.
  157.
  158. a. Revelation Online has assets from other games. Some are more obvious than others, but they're there.
  159.
  160. b. The awkward leaning while walking/running. (EDIT: THIS CAN BE TOGGLED OFF! REJOICE! https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=9&v=PXXblsR-AOA)
  161.
  162. c. This is a social game. You're not going to get far playing alone, Kirito.
  163.
  164. d. Bots
  165.
  166. e. OWPvP after level 40. Gankers get massive debuffs if they kill you outside of guild wars, but there's still going to be people running around doing it for funsies. Clench your butt and take it like a man or get out.
  167.
  168. f. Clipping
