  3. A few days after Jeanne was burnt alive on a stick, she was resurrected as Jeanne Alter and returned to Orleans. She took possession of the Grail and summoned the seven servant classes. The summoned servants were all then forcibly (maddened / altered / influenced by evil?) and included d’Eon, Atlanta, Vlad (who became a berserker after maddening), Saint Martha, Caster Gilles, Lancelot, Sanson, and Carmilla. Jeanne Alter planned to use them and Fafnir (which she also summoned from the grail) to destroy France. Thus, she became known as the ‘Dragon Witch’.
  4.
  5. After arriving in France, protagonist & co. meets Jeanne. (Jeanne Alter claims that this Jeanne is the result of what she gave up on / shed) This Jeanne is also a ruler, but does not possess the ability to utilize command spells or discern the stats and info of other servants. This ‘original’ Jeanne joins protagonist & co. While in La Charité, protagonist & co. were attacked by Jeanne Alter, Vlad and Camilla. However, they were assisted by Marie Antoinette and Mozart. Romani thinks that the existence of those two is due to the Grail attempting to balance out the Holy Grail War. (similar to Fate/Apocrypha, it one side has x amount of servants, the grail summons x amount of servants for the opposing side) Marie Antoinette and Mozart joined protagonist & co.

  7. With the information provided by Saint Martha (who defected because her heart as a Saint is able to partially resist Jeanne Alter’s control), protagonist & co. travels to Lyon in search for a legendary dragon slayer (Siegfried) who had appeared. Protagonist & co. defeats the Phantom of the Opera while searing for him. While rescuing Siegfried, they were attacked by Jeanne Alter, who was leading Lancelot, Sanson, and Fafnir. Jeanne Alter ordered Sanson and Lancelot to attack protagonist & co but were defeated. However, Lancelot than notices Jeanne (the pure one), mistakes her for Artoria and proceeded to attack madly again. Again, he was defeated and disappeared.

  9. Siegfried was exhausted of his energy after repelling Fafnir with Balmung, but protagonist and co. were rescued by Saber Gilles (who is alive during that period of time). Although Jeanne heard the cries from Saber Gilles, she decided to not respond and leave because she was worried that their association would damage Saber Gilles’s reputation as a knight.
  10.
  11. To get rid of the curse that is on Siegfried, protagonist and co. arrived in Thiers in search for a Saint. Following what Mozart described as ‘a horrifying sound’, they found Elizabeth Bathory and Kiyohime, who were arguing. It took a while for them to calm down (battles were needed).
  12.
  13. With information provided by Kiyohime finally found the Saint, Saint George. While Jeanne and Saint George were singing hymns to cleanse Siegfried, Marie Antoinette scarified herself to delay the pursuing Sanson. With the curse on Siegfried gone, protagonist & co. succeeded in defeating Fafnir.
  14.
  15. After a night of rest, protagonist & co. proceeds to Orleans. In the way, they defeated d’Eon, Vlad, Sanson and Atlanta. They assaulted the evil castle that was in Orleans. Siegfried, Saint George and Mozart stayed outside the castle in defence while Elizabeth and Kiyohime delays Caster Gilles. Protagonist, Mashu and Jeanne attacks Jeanne Alter and the black shadow that Jeanne Alter just summoned.
  16. After defeating Jeanne Alter, protagonist & co. realized that the true possessor of the grail is Caster Gilles. His wish for the revival of Jeanne, plus his hatred towards France for betraying them caused to grail to summon Jeanne Alter (who shouldn’t be able to exist), Fafnir, and the other servants.
  17.
  18. After defeating Caster Gilles, Saber Gilles (who is alive during that time period) rushed into the castle. Upon seeing Jeanne disappear once again, Saber Gilles lamented and expressed his anger towards France betraying her. Jeanne claimed that the war that was just fought would be a dream (meaning Caster Gilles would still eventually appear at some point in history as nothing would have changed), and says good bye to protagonist & co. with a hint of sadness in her voice.
