  4. Origin: The ibis are immigrants from a faraway land. The Wae, lead by Iman Babail, were scholars who spent their days studying the Quergail. Through dabbling with humors they believed they could find a way to summon and revive their dead god hatut from hell and kill the scorpian god.
  5. During their studies their Omasq was visited by the emperor who, impressed with their library and knowledge, paid them to move to his land and provide council.
  6. The nation of Wae is itself a extension of this service, a mighty city state built around its light collegethedral.
  7. Reason to submitting to the Emperor: the emperor bought their loyalty though the Parade of Gold, a mighty display of his wealth and power that convinced the Wae of the emperors place in their destiny.
  8. Culture: The Wae worship knowlege, at least necromantic ones.
