We dominate as a team, eventually defeating the Three Man Power Trip, who screwed us out of so many title shots, and even injured my leg. But at Wrestlemania, he lets me down. We lose those tag team titles. And I realize he never truly valued me as his equal. Now I'm the IC Champion, and I've struck up a friendship with Shawn Michaels, a legend in this sport. And the great thing is, he respects me just as much as I respect him. He sees my talent. And what does he do? He joins that same Power Trip that broke my leg and almost ended my career. So put yourself in my shoes. If I don't join the Power Trip, that means leaving my only friend in this company. But if I do, I'm selling my soul to the group I detest most.
