- Section 1: OPERATION OF THE HOT WHEELS MOUSE
- Your Hot Wheels mouse is designed to work as a regular mouse and can operate in Dos, Windows 3.1 and Windows 95 as well as working within other applications and programs that work with Windows or Dos. The Hot Wheels mouse will function as described above by utilizing your existing mouse drivers on your system, as long as you have addressed these drivers to the correct port.
- The Hot Wheels mouse has a number of added features not found on other mouse devices. The Hot Wheels mouse has a horn found on the left hand side of the mouse, and the right mouse button functions as an accelerator which, when depressed, vibrates and creates engine sound effects through your computer's sound system. The Mouse also has headlights and taillights, which can be activated by the switch found at the back of the mouse. The Mouse requires 2 size "AA" alkaline batteries to activate these added features.
- The headlights and the taillights will work when the Hot Wheels Mouse is used as a regular mouse. The revving engine sound effects and the horn only work within the HOT WHEELS "Rally" CD-ROM game and requires installation of the Hot Wheels mouse driver. The CD-ROM game can only be played with the Hot Wheels Mouse unless you use special keystrokes on your keyboard along with your regular mouse.
