  31. Bio: A jovial yet decisive and aloof man from Alberal, Lamden has grown up in and spent most of his life in service as a guard to a modest town at the behest of his family. He stands at about 6'1" with cropped blonde hair and a trimmed beard, at about 26 years of age.
  32.
  33. His hometown's leadership, revering the Alberian god of the sun, possessed a small number of diplomats and religious figures who would lend their aid in maintaining the careful relations between the many churches in Alberal. Lamden's duty had seen him across the land many times over with a number of clerics and priests, such that he picked up the art of healing from them. Ultimately though, his fate saw fit for him to keep watch over a particular woman. Lady Anne-laude, a servitor to their region's bishop and in line to succeed them, served as their mutual hometown's foremost envoy to the land's other cities. Great pressure was laid upon the churches, and by extension them, to remain unified in trying times with the looming pressure of Alberal's rival, Ixion.
  34.
  35. He would serve with the rest of the Lady's guard for 4 years, honing his skills, both as a cavalier and as their group's medic. He served with care, but one night on the southern borders to Ixion, as their group traveled to assist a military town's church in keeping the faith, the guard was ambushed by an Ixion border patrol. Undermanned at the time, the team was cut down in succession, and in their haste to flee, the Lady's horse had been crippled by a well placed bolt. In the chaos, Lamden had lent the Lady his own horse, and stood with the few remaining guard to delay the skirmishers from hindering her escape. After a short battle, and with the Lady well away, Lamden surrendered.

  37. Now in the hands of Ixion, Lamden now awaits whatever sentence they deem necessary for him. Whether they aim to keep him as a political prisoner, or execute him out of hand is an answer he hopes for every day...
