  1. Shadow (Oracle Mystery)
  2. Deities: Groetus, Lao Shu Po, Tsukiyo, Zon-Kuthon.
  3. Class Skills: An oracle with this mystery adds Bluff,
  4. Disguise, Knowledge (dungeoneering), and Stealth to her
  5. list of class skills.
  6. Bonus Spells: Blurred movement ACG (2nd), invisibility (4th),
  7. deeper darkness (6th), shadow step UM (8th), vampiric shadow
  8. shield ACG (10th), shadow walk (12th), mass invisibility (14th),
  9. greater shadow evocation (16th), shades (18th).
  10. Revelations: An oracle with the shadow mystery can
  11. choose from any of the following revelations.
  12. Army of Darkness (Su): Whenever you cast a summon monster
  13. spell and summon a creature that normally has the celestial
  14. or fiendish template, you can instead summon it with the
  15. shadow creature template (Pathfinder RPG Bestiary 4 238). This
  16. revelation counts as having the Spell Focus (conjuration) feat
  17. for the purpose of meeting the prerequisites of the Augment
  18. Summoning feat, as well as any feat that lists Augment
  19. Summoning as a prerequisite.
  20. Cloak of Darkness (Su): This ability functions as the dark
  21. tapestry mystery UM revelation of the same name.
  22. Dark Secrets (Su): You learn the hidden secrets surrounding
  23. the casting of shadow spells. You can add a number of spells
  24. from the sorcerer/wizard spell list equal to your Charisma
  25. modifier (minimum 1, maximum equal to half your oracle
  26. level) to your spell list and your list of spells known as divine
  27. spells. These have a spell level equal to their sorcerer/wizard
  28. spell level. You can add only illusion spells from the shadow
  29. subschool or spells with the darkness descriptor to your
  30. list of spells known in this manner. Each time you gain an
  31. oracle level after taking this revelation, you can choose to
  32. replace one of these spells for a new appropriate spell on the
  33. sorcerer/wizard spell list.
  34. Living Shadow (Sp): Your body dissolves, and you become a
  35. living shadow. This ability functions as gaseous form. At 14th
  36. level, this ability functions as shadow body OA instead, except
  37. you also gain DR 10/magic and become immune to poison,
  38. sneak attacks, and critical hits as if also using gaseous form.
  39. You can use this ability a number of minutes per day equal
  40. to your oracle level. This duration does not need to be
  41. consecutive, but it must be spent in 1-minute increments.
  42. You must be at least 7th level to choose this revelation.
  43. Pierce the Shadows (Su): The shadows step aside from your
  44. baleful gaze, affording you sight in even the deepest darkness.
  45. You gain darkvision 60 feet. If you already have darkvision,
  46. increase your existing darkvision by 60 feet instead. At 11th
  47. level, you can see perfectly in darkness of any kind, even
  48. in absolute darkness or the darkness created by a deeper
  49. darkness spell.
  50. Shadow Armament (Su): You can create a quasi-real simple
  51. or martial masterwork weapon appropriate for your current
  52. size. You are considered proficient with this weapon. The first
  53. time you hit a creature with this weapon, that creature can
  54. attempt a Will save to disbelieve; failure means the weapon
  55. deals damage normally, while success means the creature
  56. takes only 1 point of damage from the weapon’s attacks. The
  57. weapon deals only 1 point of damage to objects. At 3rd level,
  58. and again at 11th level and 19th level, the weapon gains a
  59. cumulative +1 enhancement bonus. At 7th level, the weapon
  60. gains either the frost or keen weapon special ability, chosen
  61. when the weapon is created. These abilities don’t function
  62. against a target that succeeds at its Will save. At 15th level, the
  63. weapon deals minimum damage (as if it had rolled a 1 on each
  64. of its damage dice) against targets that succeed at their saves
  65. instead of 1 point of damage. You can use this ability for a
  66. number of minutes per day equal to your oracle level. This
  67. duration does not need to be consecutive, but it must be
  68. used in 1-minute increments. The weapon disappears
  69. after 1 round if it leaves your grasp.
  70. Shadow Mastery (Su): Whenever you cast an illusion
  71. spell from the shadow subschool, increase the strength
  72. of such spells by 1% per oracle level you have. You
  73. must be at least 7th level to choose this revelation.
  74. Shadow Projection (Su): You infuse your life force
  75. and psyche into your shadow, causing it to separate
  76. from your body and act as an independent creature. This
  77. ability functions as shadow projection APG except as follows.
  78. Your shadow has the outsider type and the phantom subtype
  79. instead of the undead type. As a result, this ability does not
  80. have the evil descriptor and your shadow cannot be turned or
  81. affected as undead (though it can be affected as an outsider).
  82. You can use this ability for a number of hours per day
  83. equal to half your oracle level. These hours don’t need to be
  84. consecutive, but they must be spent in 1-hour increments.
  85. Your shadow’s hit points are not replenished between uses,
  86. although your shadow can be healed in the same manner as
  87. any other outsider. When this ability isn’t in use, any healing
  88. done to you also heals your shadow for an equal amount. You
  89. must be at least 7th level to choose this revelation.
  90. Stealth Mastery (Ex): You gain Skill Focus with the Stealth
  91. skill. At 8th level, you gain Signature Skill PU with the
  92. Stealth skill, even if you don’t meet the feat’s prerequisites.
  93. At 16th level, you gain the hide in plain sight shadowdancer
  94. class feature.
  95. Wings of Darkness (Su): This ability functions as the dark
  96. tapestry mystery UM revelation of the same name. You must
  97. be at least 7th level to select this revelation.
  98. Final Revelation: Upon reaching 20th level, your body
  99. becomes permanently suffused with the essence of the
  100. Shadow Plane. You gain regeneration 5 while in dim light
  101. or darkness and immunity to cold, critical hits, and sneak
  102. attacks. Your regeneration is suppressed while in any level
  103. of illumination brighter than dim light. In addition, any
  104. spells you cast of the shadow subschool or with the darkness
  105. descriptor are automatically enlarged without affecting their
  106. spell level.
