- In the beginning of summer, Kurumi walked around the town in a good humor in her black dress.
- Kurumi then mumble about Shidou and what happened earlier. She then lift up her left hand, open it, then close it.
- Kurumi loss her hand once, but now she got it back using <Dalet>.
- Suddenly, Kurumi feel someone bumped into her. She looked down and found a small girl fell on her bottom.
- "Ara, ara. I'm sorry." said Kurumi. She then help the girl to stand up and brush the dust off her knee.
- "Um, I'm sorry. I was in hurry." the girl said and Kurumi noticed she is full of sweat on her forehead.
- After the small girl apologized, before she run away, she turned back to Kurumi and gave her a flyer.
- In the flyer there is an image of a tortoiseshell cat with a red collar with a message saying she is looking for it.
- "I'm sorry…… but if you found it, please contact me."
- "Okay…" Kurumi answered with a half-hearted reply. The girl then run away and nearly fall again.
- Kurumi looked at the flyer again then fold it and put it in her pocket. She then mumble:
- "I'm sorry, but I don't have that much time to spare for something like this."
- Kurumi continued walking, thinking she don't have a second to spend for something like this.
- After a little bit, she stopped and took the flyer out from her pocket. "…" Kurumi thought.
- "…Come to think of it, I haven't gave any work to those 'me' that was recently resupplied."
- "I don't want to put them into actual battle or for information gather so sudden…"
- "Maybe I should give them some training."
- Kurumi then walked into a back street and call out her clones. Her clones in Astral Dress appeared.
- When Kurumi said "'Us'!", all clones understand what she means and jump out of the shadow into the town.

- It is now 1:30 PM. Since the school was closed, Shidou decided to went out for shopping earlier than usual.
- However, he is now regret that he should wait a little bit more, since the sun is still very strong.
- Tohka who is with Shidou, asked "Muu, what happened Shido, you don't look very well."
- Shidou noted that Tohka is energetic as usual. Tohka answered that is because she had a lunch before coming out.
- After some walking, Tohka noticed something and started looking under a parked car. Shidou asked her what happened.
- Tohka then put her hand under the car and try to search for something. She then bring out a cat from under the car.
- Shidou surprised. It was a tortoiseshell cat with a red collar.
- Shidou tell Tohka to not interrupt the cat if it was sleeping.
- Tohka shake her head and point out at its back left leg. There is a small wound.
- Shidou and Tohka decided to bring the cat to animal's hospital nearby and began to change the route.
- Shidou noted that since it has a collar, it would be great if they could found out its original owner.
- Shidou then turned back out of sudden because he feel like someone is looking.
- Tohka asked Shidou what happened, Shidou answered "nothing" and continues walking.

- "Ara, ara, ara."
- Kurumi looked at Shidou and Tohka from the backstreet. Kurumi ran here after a clone reported that she found the cat.
- Kurumi noted "This is going to be troublesome…" since her food, and her food's protector already pick up the cat.
- Even though Tohka who got her powers sealed can't be any match to Zafkiel. The situation isn't that simple.
- If Kurumi appeared before them and said "Give me the cat" there is no way those two will comply.
- At worst, if they asked the reason, then Kurumi don't know how to answer.
- The clone who found the cat then asked Kurumi "what happened?"
- Kurumi took another look at the flyer and purred her nose.
- "There are many ways to do it, it's not that I must deliver the cat to that girl."
- "——In that case, I will just make Shidou-san and Tohka-san noticed this flyer."

- While walking to the animal hospital, Tohka hold the cat in her arms with extra care.
- Tohka asked Shidou where is the hospital. After Shidou answered, Tohka said she will remembered it.
- Shidou asked why, Tohka answered so if she found an injured animal again, she could take it to the hospital.
- Tohka then remarked if Shidou wasn't here, she would have no idea what to do when she found the cat.
- Shidou answered Tohka back that if Tohka wasn't here, then he would not noticed the cat in the first place.
- "Fufu… what a lucky guy! Good that Shidou and me are here!" then start petting on the cat's neck.
- Tohka then petting the cat, looking pleasingly. The cat then lick Tohka's fingers back.
- "Ohhh! Shi-Shido! After we take him to the animal hospital, what are we going to do? C-can I pet him?"
- "Eh? No, no, this guy has a collar. We have to search for its owner first."
- "Mu… Muu… That's right. B-but if we can't found the owner…"
- "Then… I'll ask Kotori if pets are allowed at Tohka's room.
- Tohka heard that and looks very happy. Shidou warn her to not hug him too strong, since the cat is injured.
- Right at that moment, Shidou noticed a flyer posted on a wall in his direction and try to take a look.
- But suddenly Tohka called "Look, Shidou! This thing is squishy!"
- Shidou bend his sight from the flyer to Tohka and noticed pushing the cat's paw. Tohka then asked what is this.
- Shidou "Ah, that is a paw [nikukyuu]. Dog and cat have it."
- Tohka noticed something "Niku… kyuu… niku (meat)… kyuu (ball)… don't tell me meatballs are made of this thing!?"
- Shidou denies that, nothing that because of Tohka, he thought up of something terrible.
- Tohka "Fumu. I see. Yoshi! From now on your name is Nikukyuu!"
- Shidou then noted that it's still early to name the cat, since we have to search for its owner first.
- Tohka "I don't think so. Even if we have to search for the owner, we still need something to call the cat."
- Tohka "Also… just like how Shidou named me, I also want to give this guy a name."
- Shidou convinced himself and he suddenly noticed he had already walked past the flyer while talking with Tohka.
- However, even though Shidou wonder about the flyer, he thought it's not important enough to walk back to see it.
- What's important now is to get the cat to the hospital. Shidou and Tohka then hurried to the hospital.

- "……………"
- After Shidou and Tohka walk passed the flyer, Kurumi appeared from the shadow of the wall and tear of the flyer.
- Kurumi guessed Tohka and Shidou's direction and put this flyer in their ways, in the most stand-out place.
- If Shidou had noticed this flyer, he will definitely call the girl. And everyone will be happy.
- But for some reason, Tohka interrupts in such exquisite moment and make Shidou ignore the flyer.
- "Chi… only a little bit. Tohka-san really did something unnecessary" Kurumi getting irritated.
- "Ara, ara. He did not noticed it."
- "What will you do now?"
- "Instead of such a roundabout way, what about meet them face in face?"
- Voices and chuckles of the clones are heard from the surroundings. Kurumi then scold them.
- "Shut up, 'us'. My plans don't just stop here."
- "Even if you said that. What will you do." A clone asked.
- "The plan is not wrong. What is important is to get Shidou-san to know about this flyer."
- While folding the flyer, Kurumi then start folding the flyer.

- After walking a little bit more, Tohka started humming a song with Nikukyuu's name in it.
- Shidou put on a wry smile at Tohka. Suddenly, Shidou noticed something hit his back and looked back.
- Shidou looked around and found a paper airplane made out of a flyer of something.
- However, Shidou can't see anyone around. He thought it might be a kid around here playing a prank.
- When he looked at the paper, he noticed the paper is like those that printed from a home-use printer.
- Shidou then noticed there is a small writing on its wing, saying "Please open it."
- When Shidou try to unfold the plane, Tohka noticed and asked Shidou "Mu? What is this?"
- Shidou explain to Tohka that it is a paper airplane, and took a pose when you throw it.
- Tohka getting excited and hand over the cat to Shidou.
- Tohka "Shidou, can you hold this guy for a second!"
- Shidou "Eh? S-sure thing…"
- After Shidou receive the cat from Tohka, Tohka took the paper airplane from Shidou and throw it away.
- Tohka "Go!"
- Shidou "Wai—" It was already late the moment Shidou started saying it.
- With Tohka's strength, the paper airplane is flying high up to the sky.
- Tohka "Ohh! Shido, this is amazing! The paper is flying high as Shido said!"
- Shidou look at the paper airplane and put on a frown face. Tohka thrown it away before Shidou could check its content.
- Shidou convince himself that the plane was thrown to him as a prank, so its content might not be important.
- He then thought may be it had "YOU'RE AN IDIOT" written on it. Shidou then make a short sigh.
- Tohka noticed's Shidou's expression and asked him if it was bad to thrown it away and offer him to look for the plane.
- Shidou said it is not important and tell Tohka we should take care of this guy quick.
- Shidou hand over the cat with a smile. Tohka changed from her weak look and nod with a face full of determination.

- "Tohhhkaaaa-saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!"
- Kurumi appeared from shade of a wall looking at Shidou and Tohka walking away and grind her teeth from frustration.
- She noticed that post it on a wall is not enough, so she make a plane and throw it to Shidou, and even wrote a note.
- However, Tohka still interrupts it.
- "Not only once, but twice…! Do you have any grudge against me…!?"
- After Kurumi said that with an annoying voice, voices of her clones could again be heard from the surrounding.
- "Well, don't you think she have at least a little?"
- "You rampaged around that much, and you're targeting Shidou-san."
- "Eh…? Don't tell me you think they don't have any grudge against you…?"
- Kurumi then poke the clones' head. Those clones then stares at Kurumi.
- "I woooooooooon't forgive them anymore! I don't want to use this plan, but now I can't retreat."
- "W-what are you planning to do" a clone asked her with a dubious look. Kurumi looked at her and answered.
- "I can't use the flyer anymore. So I have to change the course."
- "Changing the course? What do you mean?"
- "It's easy. Just call that cat from Shidou-san to here."
- The clones then tremble in fear and try to stop Kurumi. They understand what she means because they are her clones.
- "D-don't tell me you are doing 'that'?"
- "T-that is too dangerous. Even though it is for cat-san, there's no need to do it!"
- "Please think about it again! If Shidou-san found you out, that means he will saw you in 'that look'! You do know what it means!"
- However, Kurumi don't listened.
- "Shut up! This is now about my honor. I won't forgive anyone who try to get in a way no matter how trivial it is!"
- After Kurumi said so, the clones disappeared into the shadow.

- When animal's hospital is nearby, Tohka suddenly stopped walking and looked around.
- Shidou asked Tohka. Tohka suggested him that she heard a cat's voice.
- Shidou listened carefully and heard a cute "Meo~w". Shidou thought the voice is strange, like it is trying to lure someone out.
- That moment, the cat jumped out of Tohka's arm, and run to the backstreet while still dragging his back leg.
- The two then started running. Thanks to the cat's injury, Tohka could caught him before he get into the backstreet.
- "I caught him!"
- "Ou! Great job Tohk—"
- After Shidou arrive at the entrance of backstreet, he is perplexed and surprised for what he saw in front of him.
- "…K-Kurumi?" Shidou said with a shiver voice.
- In the backstreet, Kurumi is crawling on her hands and knees and keep saying "Meo~w".
- Situation like this, it's harder not to be surprised. Even Tohka looked surprised just like Shidou.
- "…………Ah…………!"
- Kurumi noticed Shidou and Tohka's presence a moment later and became stiffed for a second.
- Kurumi brush the dust off her knee then stand up and greet them gracefully.
- "U-ufufu. It has been a while. Shidou-san, Tohka-san." Kurumi smiled, but Shidou feel her forehead is full of sweat for some reason.
- "What were you doing…"
- "………" When Shidou asked, Kurumi only keep smiling and become silent for a moment.
- Kurumi then went "Gu, gu………" and scratch her head then pop her finger. Astral Dress appeared from her shadow and twined around her.
- While Shidou is surprised at Kurumi's sudden battle mode, Kurumi point her finger to the cat and demand to hand it over.
- "A-anything is fine. Just hand over me that cat!"
- "Eh? A cat?"
- Shidou is perplexed because Kurumi's demand came out of nowhere. He then heard voice of her clones from surroundings.
- "A-, a-"
- "Then it come to this."
- "If you do this from the beginning, you don't have to be in such disgrace…"
- Shidou decided to ignore the voices. It must be a hallucination.
- While Shidou is still perplexing with the situation, Tohka stares Kurumi with a cautious look.
- Tohka "A cat…? You mean Nikukyuu?"
- Kurumi "Yes, that is right." Kurumi who finally back to her normal condition answered.
- Kurumi "I don't want to fight with you two right now. If you hand me over that cat, I promise to leave peacefully."
- Tohka "Don't joke with me! Who will hand you this cat!"
- Kurumi "Ara, are, that is very courageous. Buuuut—your power right now can't stop me."
- Tohka tremble in fear and step back. Tohka knows her power right now can't be any match to Kurumi.
- Even the situation is getting more and more dangerous, Shidou is wondering about another matter.
- Shidou "Kurumi…"
- Kurumi "Yes, what is it?"
- Shidou "Umm… well. Why do you want this cat?"
- Kurumi "…………………"
- Kurumi shiver a little. Shidou suggested that it doesn't looks like the cat has any special powers.
- And even if she want it for her <Time-Swallowing Castle>, cat's lifespan is much shorter than humans, and that is just inefficient.
- Kurumi "That is…" Kurumi mumble, hesitate to say it.
- Shidou "That is?"
- Kurumi "I will leave it to your imagination."
- Tohka then looked surprised, like she noticed something.
- Tohka "Don't tell me… you're going to turn Nikukyuu into a meatball and eat!?"
- Kurumi shouted "I won't! Why do you have such a scary thought!"
- Shidou "Hey, that's not something you can say…" Shidou said with a sweat on his face. Kurumi then knit her brows.
- Kurumi "A-anyway! I will have this cat. If you resist, then I can't guarantee your safety."
- Kurumi then take out her two guns from her shadow. Even still, Tohka won't hand over the cat.
- Tohka shouted "Who will give Nikukyuu to someone as dangerous as you!" and manifest her Astral Dress.
- That moment, the cat surprised at Tohka's shouting and a light around her. The cat then jump out of her arms into the street.
- Tohka "! Ah, darn! Nikukyuu!"
- Tohka shouted and try to stretch out her hand but she can't read her. The cat then run to the road.
- That moment, a car is running to the cat. Shidou noticed that and jump to catch the cat.
- Shidou caught the cat on the road. The driver noticed the situation and pull the emergency break.
- Shidou determined, then stiffen his body to ready for the impact. Shidou knows that he won't die from getting hit by a car.
- However that moment, Kurumi shouted "Zayin!" and the car stopped. Like its time is being stopped.
- Shidou is surprised at the situation. Kurumi then walk to Shidou and throw him away with a "yareyare" voice.
- Kurumi "Ara, ara. Why are you being leisurely here?" Kurumi then grab Shidou's neck and throw him away to the pavement.
- The next moment, the flow of time is back to normal.
- After the driver pull an emergency break, he come out of the car looking confused and go back.
- Tohka "Shido! Are you okay! I'm sorry, it's my thoughtlessness."
- Shidou "No, this is not Tohka's fault, but before that, wasn't that…?"
- Tohka "U-umu. No doubt. That is Kurumi's angel."
- Shidou "She rescued me…? Why—"
- While Shidou is mumble with a perplexed look, Tohka point out to his chest.
- Tohka "! Ah! Shido! Where is Nikukyuu!?"
- Shidou then noticed that the cat is no longer in his arms. He then heard a chuckle.
- Kurumi then appeared before him, holding the cat in her hands.
- Tohka "Ah! Kurumi, you—"
- Kurumi "Ufufu. I got the cat. So goodbye, Shidou-san, Tohka-san. Have a nice day."
- Kurumi make a bow and disappeared with the cat.
- Tohka try to run after her, but she's not fast enough.
- "Nikukyuuuuuuuuuuu!"

- After that, Shidou and Tohka went to shopping like their original plans. Tohka doesn't look very well.
- Even though Shidou said he will make her favorite food, or buy her a Kinako-pan as much as she won't, she still don't get better.
- Shidou thought if this situation goes on, it might be dangerous.
- Shidou then quickly finished with the shopping and hurry back home in order to contact Ratatoskr about the situation.
- Shidou "Tohka, don't think over it."
- Tohka "…umu. I understand. I'm fine." Tohka said with a not so fine face.
- Of course, Shidou is also worrying about the cat and Kurumi's objective, but for now Tohka's mental state is more important.
- While Shidou keep thinking, Tohka shouted "Ah!" loudly.
- "What happened Tohka?". Shidou surprised at Tohka's shout that seemed different from the depressing voice earlier.
- Tohka surprised and pointed at a girl ahead of them, who is holding a tortoiseshell cat with a red collar in her arms.
- Tohka "That is Nikukyuu!"
- Shidou "Eh? That can't be—"
- Before Shidou could even finish the sentence, Tohka run to the girl and push the cat's paw.
- Tohka "No doubt! This is Nikukyuu!"
- The girl looked surprised and asked "U, um, what is this?"
- Shidou walk to her and apologize. He then ask the girl.
- Shidou "Er, I'm going to ask a strange question, is this cat yours?"
- The girl "Yes… this cat is mine."
- Shidou "See, this is a different cat. Look at its back leg, there's no injury."
- Tohka "No! No way! This squishy feeling, no doubt it is Nikukyuu!"
- Tohka then keep shaking her head. The girl then noticed something.
- "Could it be… you saw Marry too?"
- "Marry?"
- "This cat's name. Actually, she went missing since few days ago, but a beautiful Onee-san found her for me."
- "Eh?"
- Shidou said with a dubious voice.
- He then look at the cat's back leg again.
- The leg without any injury, as if the time has been turned back.
- "No way……"
- Shidou mumble quietly and scratch his cheek.
