  1. >Evening 25 in Equestria
  2. >Today has just been absolutely splendid, aside from the moment of unexpected drama presented in the shower room
  3. >So far you have gotten a wonderful massage, played Basketball, and gotten done taking a shower with Flizzy
  4. >Now you were heading to the next destination Flizzy had prepared for you two, which you had no idea where or what it was
  5. >She assured you that you love it, though, and judging on the day she had planned thus far, you very much believed her hype
  6. "Hey Flizzy, I just wanted to say; I very much appreciate all of the work you have put into planning today's hang out activities. I just wanted you to know that. So, yeah.. Thanks Flizzy. Truly."
  7. >The previous moment between you two made you kinda antsy and feeling guilty, due to your stupid actions putting a damper on the mood for the day Flizzy obviously put so much work into
  8. >The least you could do is drill in just how much you appreciated everything she has done today
  9. >Flizzy's reply also shows just how much she appreciated your company today, as she bends over to quickly lift you upwards into a hug, which she only needs to use one of her arms for
  10. >"Oh Anon, I wouldn't have put any effort into anythin' today if it wasn't for you. So thank you, Anon. Thank you for bein' somehyooman worth plannin' this all for."
  11. >She tightens her squeeze on you, as you return the hug you were lifted into the air for
  12. >It's times like these that remind you why exactly she is your best friend, why exactly you are so grateful that you got her as a cellmate instead of anyone else
  13. >You freaking love Flizzy, she was the best friend a person could ask for
  14. >The hug goes on for about 30 seconds
  15. >..then another 30 seconds
  16. >..then another minute
  17. >This hug is awkwardly long, but you don't want to be the one that forcibly breaks it, as Flizzy is still holding onto you tightly while snuggling her head against yours
  18. >After about another minute of her hugging you, she finally lets you down
  19. >As you are placed back onto the ground, you fix your clothes and look up towards Flizzy, who is also looking down towards you with a relaxed smile
  20. >"And with that, I feel energized enough for the rest of the day, plus more. Let's go Anon, I am sure we have held up the pony waiting for us long enough."
  21. >As she says this, she places her open claw in front of you as if she wanted you to grab it
  22. >Her calmly playful tone and sudden cheeriness rubs off on you as you also begin to feel a mellow sense of joy
  23. >You accept her claw, grabbing ahold of it, and give a small laugh with your response
  24. "Heh. Well, lead the way then my noble dragon escort for the evening."
  25. >"If that is what you wish, my 'noble hyooman', then there is no way this dragon of yours can refuse."
  26. >Recognizing your flattery with her own joking flattery, Flizzy takes your hand in her claw as she begins leading you down the hall towards the pony awaiting you two
  27. >And happily you follow, hand in claw; her grip being gentle as she is careful to not hurt you as she is pulling you forward
  28. >...
  29. >You eventually arrive in front of "Rocko Value's Arts and Crafts", a prison sponsored crafts shop
  30. >While you have never been here, you have heard of it previously in casual conversation; you also heard that it was supposed to be closed tonight
  31. >But apparently either the sources you had spoken to were wrong or Flizzy found a way to have him keep it open specially for her, because as you approach the door a large male horned centaur opens it and invites you inside
  32. >The centaur is muscular, red, and has a long smooth white mane
  33. >"Ah Flizzy. You are a bit late, but that is understandable. Nobody follows a schedule perfectly when it is created to manage recreational time. Please, both of you, come in and have a seat."
  34. >The minotaur motions Flizzy and you to go sit in the chairs lined up against the far wall
  35. >Flizzy and you walk towards the chairs, but only you sit down
  36. >"The 'thing' you asked me to get for you is finished, better than expected too. It is right in the back, through this door."
  37. >He makes a gesture with his head for Flizzy to follow him through the door located at the back of the room
  38. >Flizzy nods and says
  39. >"I'll be right there."
  40. >He exits the room through the door and Flizzy leans down towards you
  41. >"Hey Anon, I will be right back. Please stay here and wait for me. I just need to get something from Rocko."
  42. >She seems a bit worried that you will follow her, but you calm her uneasiness immediately
  43. "Yeah, sounds good. I ain't no kid, don't worry. I'll be here when you return."
  44. >She gives a reassured smile and nods her head before disappearing into the backroom with 'Rocko'
  45. >Now for you, who is sitting alone and bored
  46. >..
  47. >..
  48. >Maybe you are not as patient as you thought you were, because you were getting bored
  49. >It must have been almost 10 minutes already
  50. >Not much time, but you literally are just sitting and staring at the wall
  51. >You are too used to the mental stimulation of doing something almost at all times for this
  52. "~~"
  53. >https://youtu.be/ZdcMqk8w5rI
  54. >You begin to whistle gently in your boredom
  55. >As you get more and more into whistling your song, you close your eyes and remember the times as a kid you used to stay up late with your older brother to watch the cartoons playing on during Toonami and Adult Swim
  56. >Him and you never really got along the best, but the one similarity you could always bond on were the anime shows you both loved; though as you grew up you realized that his tastes were pretty shit
  57. >You wonder how he is doing now..
  58. >More and more you get into the song you are whistling, as you completely lose awareness of your surroundings
  59. >The memories of your loved ones are all that circles your thoughts while you give your little one man performance to nobody
  60. "~~..."
  61. >As you reach the end, your thoughts and sudden burst of memories make your eyes begin to water, as you feel as if you are going to cry
  62. >"*sniff* Oh that was so beautiful. *sniff*"
  63. >Huh? That is not you crying..
  64. >You open your eyes to see a white unicorn with gems as a cutie mark standing in front of you, tears flowing down her face
  65. >She begins wiping her face off with a magically levitating tissue as she begins praising your performance
  66. >"Oh that was absolutely lovely, darling. Like listening to a song bird performing for Celestia's royal orchestra."
  67. >The praise does get you a little flustered, but for the most part you are focusing on identifying the unicorn in front of you
  68. >She looks familiar, as if you had seen her before, but you cannot exactly remember where
  69. >As she finishes wiping her tears away, she asks you politely
  70. >"So sorry for interrupting, but would you happen to know where either a Ms. Flizzy or a Mr. Rocko may be? I am here with the suits she had tailored."
  71. >Ah, she is here for them
  72. "Oh. Yeah. They are both--"
  73. >As you are about to tell her where Flizzy and Rocko are, you remember how much Flizzy seemed not to want others going into the back
  74. >"They're?"
  75. >You decide to tell it to her straight
  76. "They're in another room, but they currently are doing something private. I would probably suggest waiting out here with me."
  77. >The unicorn looks towards the only door in the room, then looks back at you questioningly
  78. >"And they are going to be out when?"
  79. "Honestly, I have no idea. I have been waiting for a bit, but I am sure it won't take too long. Flizzy and I still have plans for tonight, afterall. She wouldn't leave me hanging."
  80. >Once again, the white unicorn looks at you, but this time it is more scanning than staring
  81. >You are used to this sort of look, though; it seems that most creatures here give you that look when they first meet you
  82. >Well, except for certain violent ones that try to beat you up on sight..
  83. >Seriously, what is that 'kid's' problem? You are seriously going to have to find a way to teach him some manners if he keeps acting like a prick
  84. >As you are lost on your sudden derailed train of thought, the unicorn finishes closely observing your body and then, after a quick brushing her self off, introduces herself
  85. >"Well then, if I am to be spending more time out here with you, a proper introduction is in order."
  86. >You snap out of your train of thought as she gives a slight pony version of a curtsey, or so it looks like
  87. >"I am Rarity. And perhaps you are?"
  88. >Wow, she truly has a pleasant way of speaking; each of her words are very carefully enunciated and spoken in a very gentle soothing voice
  89. "O-Oh. Sorry. My name is Anonymous."
  90. >"Well then, Mr. Anonymous, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance."
  91. "Yeah.. Like-wise."
  92. >Seriously, this unicorn is so adorably elegant
  93. >You really want to pet her right now, but your better judgement tells you not to act like a sperglord, as she is obviously a sentient and intelligent creature instead of just an average horse
  94. >"So, Mr. Anonymous, if you do not mind me asking, what sort of creature do you happen to be? You seem to have quite an exotic form to you. One I have never designed for before, excluding now."
  95. >You miss that last comment as you wave off the concerns of rudeness from Rarity
  96. "Oh, naw. I don't mind, I get that question a lot. I am a human."
  97. >"A 'hyooman'? I do not believe I have ever heard of that species before."
  98. >She moves to take a seat next to you
  99. "Ah. Well it seems we have something in common then."
  100. >Her ears perk up as she ponders what you mean by that
  101. >"Hmm? And what exactly is that?"
  102. >And here comes the punchline
  103. "Because it seems that nobody I have recently met has ever heard of humans before. That means that must make me quite the.. Rarity!"
  104. >As you spit out your Carlos-tier punchline, Rarity bursts out laughing
  105. >"Oh darling! That joke is absolutely adorable."
  106. >Her calling your joke 'adorable' makes you also chuckle
  107. >As you two share a nice little laugh, Flizzy walks back out of the room
  108. >She is alone, though, with that minotaur being nowhere in sight
  109. >In her claw she is holding a small wrapped box, which she puts down on a nearby desk upon noticing you and Rarity looking at her
  110. >"Is that--"
  111. "Yup. That's Flizzy."
  112. >Rarity gets up happily and trots over to Flizzy, introducing herself similar to how she had done for you
  113. >They speak softly, and being across the room, you can only pick up bits and pieces of what they are saying
  114. >".. and.. payment.. the scales.. suits.. bag outside.. the charmer.. thanks for.. good luck.. regards.."
  115. >As they finish their conversation, she walks back over to you and gives you a wink and a playful smile
  116. >"It is truly too bad that you are already taken. If you were not, then maybe a certain generous white mare would make such a cute and funny stallion her own. If only~."
  117. >With that, she leans over and gives you a kiss on the cheek
  118. >"Until next time, Anonymous."
  119. >As she leaves the room, she looks over at Flizzy and winks at her also
  120. >Flizzy smiles back and nods her head confidently
  121. >Once Rarity leaves, both Flizzy and you are alone once again
  122. >That is until Flizzy leaves out the front door
  123. >You stand up out of your seat to follow her, until you notice that she is coming right back inside with two large plastic wrapped suits
  124. >One of them looks like some sort of tuxedo, very expensive and suave looking, while the other is a suit that ends up being a black suit jacket, black dress pants, black tie, and white undershirt
  125. >Needless to say, both of them looked much better than your crappy orange prison jumpsuit
  126. >The tuxedo is massive, being almost as large as Flizzy herself, while the other suit is about your size
  127. >"Hey Anon. This is for you."
  128. >Flizzy hands you the suit and heads towards the backroom
  129. "What?"
  130. >"Change into it out here. Don't worry, the doors are locked, so nopony will come in on ya."
  131. >That wasn't what you were asking the question to, but before you can clarify Flizzy walks into the backroom once again, holding the Tuxedo
  132. >Deciding that you will ask her what is going on afterwords, you decide to do what she says as you dress in the formal attire that Flizzy brought inside
  133. >..
  134. >Once you are done getting changed, you move around in the suit to get a feel for it
  135. >Wow, it is tailored masterfully
  136. >Everything from the materials used, to the size, to the craftsmanship is absolutely perfect
  137. >It was like this suit was made for you
  138. >The best part of it was the reversible tie, which went from black to red; you preferred red ties over black ones
  139. >As you reverse your tie, Flizzy exits the backroom dressed in the tuxedo, which seemingly fit her like a glove
  140. >The scales on her head were slicked back also, having all of the ones that normally stuck out, except her ear scales, just barely stuck up as they are pushed backwards
  141. >She keeps moving her claws over the tuxedo, trying to fix it of any remaining wrinkles, while muttering under her breath
  142. >"This is exactly why I hate clothes.."
  143. >Wow.. She looks so suave
  144. "Uhhh, so what is up with the suits?"
  145. >You finally voice what you have been wondering this entire time
  146. >She keeps running her claws over the wrinkles on the suit while she answers you
  147. >"We are about to head to get some dinner, so we have to dress appropriately."
  148. >Getting dressed up for dinner? Are you going to some secret fancy restaurant inside the prison or something?
  149. "So.. Where are we gonna be going?"
  150. >Without thinking, still extremely obsessive compulsive about those wrinkles in her tux, she answers
  151. >"We are goin' to the cafeteria."
  152. >Oh.. Huh?
  153. >Then why do you have to be so well-dressed? You are going to stick out so badly in that crowd of other undressed creatures
  154. >As you ponder this, Flizzy spits flame out on her claw and uses her hot scales to press out the wrinkles, which seemingly works
  155. >"Good! Now Anon, you ready to go?"
  156. >You really don't understand what Flizzy was thinking
  157. "So you rented suits for us to go to dinner with.. in the cafeteria?"
  158. >Flizzy starts checking herself over in the closest mirror as she answers you once again, waiting for your answer to her question
  159. >"No. I didn't rent nothin'. These are for keeps. That suit is yours now Anon."
  160. >Wait what?
  161. >Flizzy walks over to you and gives a nasty scoff on her face as she looks down at you
  162. >"Celestia dammit.."
  163. >She once again spits fire out onto her claws, rubbing them together to get the scales hot, and then brings her claws down to your suit
  164. >"Don't move Anon."
  165. >As she says that, she starts gently running her claws over your suit to try and remove all of the wrinkles in your suit, her hot claws warming your body wherever she touched
  166. "Hang on, you bought these for us? I can't accept this.. it seems way too expensive of a gift."
  167. >Still extremely focused on getting the wrinkles out of your suit, she responds with a straight face
  168. >"It ain't no big deal. It only cost me a few scales."
  169. >You feel extremely guilty as you think about how much Flizzy has given you today, from the full spa treatment to the extremely nice suit, that you admittedly love with a passion
  170. "Still.. I feel kinda guilty accepting all of this stuff. I haven't even gotten anything back."
  171. >This comment causes Flizzy to completely pause her ironing of your suit and instead look up into your eyes with a tender smile
  172. >"Anon, don't think about any of that. I got these for ya because I wanted to. I wouldn't of done none of this if it didn't make me happy too. So don't feel guilty, or else what I have been gettin' ya will be doin' the opposite of what was intended, and I don't want that."
  173. "Wow Flizzy.. You really are the b--"
  174. >HOLY SHIT HOT!
  175. "Bitch! Fuck! Ow!!"
  176. >You quickly bring your head back as a searing hot pain suddenly appears on your chin and neck
  177. >And after moving your head, the only thing remaining in that spot is two of Flizzy's claws, which were apparently holding onto the spots that got burned
  178. >"Huh?.."
  179. >It takes her about as long as it does you to deduce what just happened; which is Flizzy's flaming hot nails apparently burned you when she tried to grab your chin
  180. >"Oh my gosh! Are you alright?! I am so so--"
  181. >And like how you were cut off by her unintentional action, your uncontrollable laughter cuts her off
  182. "Holy crap! Ahahaha! I really am cursed to keep getting hurt. What even is this, I don't even. Ahahahaha!"
  183. >You grab onto the part of your chin and upper neck where you were burned and rub it gently while you keep laughing
  184. >The laughing seems to be contagious, as Flizzy starts giggling gently herself
  185. >"Hehehe.. I really am sorry. Heh heh.."
  186. >You just keep laughing while you hold your chin and neck, slowly walking over to the mirror
  187. >The pain is barely even there any more, and in the mirror you only notice that the area burned is a bit red
  188. "Heh heh. Yeah, it looks like everything is all good."
  189. >You turn back around towards Flizzy and pat her on the back, as she still nervously giggles
  190. >"You sure you're alright Anon?"
  191. "Yeah, it's all good, don't even worry about it."
  192. >You then rub your stomach instead of your chin and look up towards her
  193. "So, about that food, you ready to get going yet?"
  194. >It takes another few seconds for Flizzy's nervousness about her accidentally hurting you to stop being noticeable, but after it does she instead gives a semi-confident smile in its place
  195. >"Well if you are finally ready, slowpoke."
  196. >Oh great, back to that 'slowpoke' thing
  197. "Oh sorry, did you say something? I couldn't hear you over those giant tortoise stomps you always make, slowpoke."
  198. >She lifts one of her claws back up, breathes fire on it, then puts it near you
  199. >"What did ya say?"
  200. >As you back away from her claw, she keeps putting it closer and closer to you
  201. "Oi! That's not fair. Play fair. Heh heh."
  202. >You chuckle as you repeat the sort of phrases you would hear two kids yell at each other on a playground
  203. >Her teasing grin shows that she is not serious, but you still keep backing up away from her claw just in case some accident happened
  204. >As you reach the wall, Flizzy holds her claw a few inches away from you and slowly says
  205. >"So you ready for what comes next?"
  206. "What happens next?.."
  207. >"Obviously.."
  208. >And with that, she retracts her claw and runs out of the room
  209. "Huh?"
  210. >You walk over to the door and as you exit, you see her teasing from the distance
  211. >"Last one to the cafeteria is a slimy snail shell."
  212. >As she says that, she starts to move through the halls at a brisk pace, not exactly running, but not walking
  213. >Oh geez
  214. >If she wants a challenge, she is on
  215. >You quickly run off to try and catch up to her, though she is always one step ahead of you
  216. >The entire way there you two are laughing like school children
  217. >With the air passing by, you think back on everything you have given up back on Earth and then think about what you have gained here
  218. >To say for sure, you have not had the chance to so innocently enjoy life, acting like a kid without a care, for many years thanks to the responsibilities of your old life
  219. >While you did miss your family, friends, and all that you had back on Earth, this wasn't a bad change at all
  220. >Not at all; thanks to Flizzy
  221. >As you reach the cafeteria, Flizzy leading by a whole body's worth of distance, Freedom Keeper is waiting by the door
  222. >It is surprisingly devoid of traffic on the outside, not a single creature going in or out of it
  223. >You finally reach the door, a few seconds after Flizzy, and try to keep the light mood going
  224. "Okay. You won that one, *huff* *huff* but the next time I will totally beat you. Just wait for it."
  225. >Expecting some sort of jokingly haughty attitude from her, you start thinking of all of the comebacks you could possibly use to counter whatever she says
  226. >But instead of rubbing in her victory, she breathes calmly and looks down at you with a warmhearted smile
  227. >"Yeah. I will."
  228. >Huh?
  229. >The warden looks up at you two and opens the door
  230. >With Freedom Keeper holding the door, Flizzy once again sticks out her claw for you to grab ahold of
  231. >You can barely see inside past Flizzy, but you can see well enough to see that there is a distinct lack of creatures moving around and tables
  232. >What the..?
  233. >Curious, you again take ahold of Flizzy's claw and allow her guide you
  234. >And when she leads you inside, you see that the entire room is empty of both creatures and tables
  235. >The only table in the room is one cloth covered circular one in the middle of the room
  236. >When you full get inside, Freedom Keeper leans her head in and winks at Flizzy before closing the door, staying outside
  237. "Umm.. What is this?"
  238. >Instead of answering you, Flizzy brings you over to the table in the center of the room and pulls out your seat for you
  239. >"Here you go, Anon."
  240. >Holy cow, she is giving a million dollar gentleman's club type of smile right now
  241. >She is normally courteous and gentle, but this is a whole new level of polite behavior, like she is trying a bit too hard
  242. >But, as you normally do, you roll with it and walk over to the table, sitting in the chair pulled out for you
  243. >The room's lighting is dim, a three pronged candle on the table being the brightest thing closest to you
  244. >Flower petals are randomly scattered on the table to create a pleasant aroma and contrast of colors
  245. >The normal set up for a fancy restaurant is all here too; napkins, plate, soup bowl, wine glass, etc.
  246. >And as you take in the beauty of everything and the elegance of the situation, a waiter pony comes over and fills your wine glass with apple cider
  247. >"I will give you two a moment to decide what you would like to order. We have a wide selection of different delicacies and desserts, courtesy of chef Vivisector and head baker, Delicious Goods."
  248. >The pony places the menus on the table in front of both of you and walks away
  249. >Meanwhile, Flizzy is across the table from you, looking at you with a strange sort of half-lidded gaze that kind of makes you feel uncomfortable
  250. >This whole situation is making you feel uncomfortable
  251. >Maybe it is because it is nothing like what you expected, which was just going to be the norm, just with you two getting trashed on tons of junk food, or maybe it is because this entire scenario seems like the sort of thing you would do yourself for a girl that you very much liked; the perfect first date
  252. >Does Flizzy not know that this is kinda what a date is like in your culture? Maybe this is just a social norm for this place's 'best friends hanging out' dinner
  253. >Either way, the amount of awkward you are feeling, due to knowing what this sort of atmosphere tends to imply with other humans, is overwhelming
  254. >Flizzy takes no notice to your worrisome state, though, as she very carefully maneuvers her massive claws to gently pick up the wine glass to take a sip
  255. >"So Anon, what do you think?"
  256. >Flizzy gives a look as if she is only expecting you to say something like 'I love it', so confident and unworried
  257. "I-It's really nice. You really went all out, didn't you? Heh.."
  258. >You can't help but let out an awkward titter as you end your sentence
  259. >She seems to be set in her ways of whatever she is doing to notice it though
  260. >As she picks up her menu to look through it, she asks you
  261. >"So have ya decided on what ya want, Anon?"
  262. >Honestly, being so overwhelmed by everything, you didn't even think about looking at the menu
  263. >But you keep rolling with the awkward and confusing punches, opening up the menu to see what choices are available
  264. >On the first page is a bunch of different type of 'Grilled Flower Salads', something you would never even think about ordering
  265. >On the second page is a bunch of different types of meat, which in the descriptions written they are apparently real meats instead of tofu substitutes
  266. >On the third page are different types of pasta
  267. >And on the piece of paper placed inside of the menu is the dessert menu, which is apparently limited to only different types of cookies; the 'Chef's Recommendation' being the 'Cookies n Cream'
  268. >Looking through the menu, you decide to make your choice on the grilled steak and mashed potatoes
  269. >"Ya look really wonderful in that suit, Anon. Though you compliment it more than it compliments you."
  270. >Wow, that was one hell of a compliment
  271. "T-Thanks."
  272. >Seriously, your nerves are all over the place
  273. >This entire thing is only turning awkward because you can't stop being awkward about it
  274. >It is just dinner between friends, nothing over the top; you have to stop being so stupidly conscious of everything
  275. >You decide to take a sip of your cider, only to choke on it as soon as you taste it
  276. "Wow, that is bitter."
  277. >Flizzy raises her glass and takes a sip also
  278. >"Not used to the Apple family's special cider wine? It is more bitter than most other types of alcohol, but once you get used to it the flavor is better than both cider and wine combined."
  279. >Hmm, is that true?
  280. >Once again you take a sip of the cider wine and nearly choke on it, but this time you let it rest in your mouth long enough for it to go somewhat numb
  281. >With the numbness also comes the elimination of the bitterness, with the only thing remaining being a taste that has the sour and delicious taste of fresh grapes mixed with the crisp refreshing tangy tartness of biting into something that could only be described as 'the perfect apple'
  282. >Frankly, it was one of the best things you had ever tasted
  283. >As soon as you swallow, the numbness completely fades
  284. >Taking another sip, the process repeats; bitter, numb, then delicious
  285. >Obsessed with drinking this insanely strange, yet satisfying, alcohol you obviously must make some sort of face that causes Flizzy to laugh and return to her normal, more readable, self for a second
  286. >"Ha! Anon, calm down. The drink is going anywhere. Geez, ya really love that stuff."
  287. >And with that, all sources of awkwardness are now gone; it is just back to two best friends hanging out and having a good time
  288. "This stuff is like if your god and my god had a baby, then the baby created its version of true happiness and manifested it into a liquid more rare than angel tears."
  289. >You lick your lips as you down the final sip
  290. >Flizzy continues to give a toothy laugh until the waiter comes back in and interrupts the moment
  291. >"Have you decided on what you are going to be getting tonight?"
  292. >As the waiter comes, Flizzy orders both her food and something not on the menu
  293. >"Can I get the duck pasta with extra sauce and.. the dragon surprise?"
  294. >The dragon surprise?
  295. >You look back over your menu for a second to try and see what that is
  296. >But before you can get a good second look, the waiter pony looks over to you and asks
  297. >"And you?"
  298. "Umm, can I please get the steak and mashed potatoes? Thank you."
  299. >The waiter pony takes your order and walks off
  300. >...
  301. >For the next few minutes, Flizzy constantly compliments you on many different things about yourself and you try your best to compliment her back without making it weird
  302. >You also try constantly to switch onto a subject completely unrelated to dinner several times, but Flizzy never responds with anything to keep building conversation off of
  303. >She seems to be dead set on compliments, flattery, and politeness tonight
  304. >That is cool and all, but it just feels wrong to keep accepting such praise just for being yourself
  305. >"So Anon, how was your day today?"
  306. "What? You were with me all today."
  307. >Flizzy realizes her fuck up and tries to damage control by asking another question about you
  308. >"Yeah, I mean.. how are you liking the prison life so far?"
  309. "Well obviously it is prison so I.."
  310. >Huh
  311. >Actually, that is a really good question
  312. >You are technically in prison, stripped of your freedom, but given luxuries like what you have experienced today on a mostly daily basis
  313. >Sure some bad things happen, but you doubt it was actually like that normally in this place; it seems to only be the fault of a single terrible doctor and a badly behaved brat of a dragon, so it is not really the prison's fault
  314. >How do you like being in prison?
  315. "Well.. honestly, I think--"
  316. >As you are trying to gather your thoughts on this surprisingly difficult question, you are interrupted by the sound of a cart rolling up next to you
  317. >The cart is covered by a cloth, with two covered silver platters sitting atop it
  318. >"Dinner is served."
  319. >The waiter places you meal in front of you
  320. >"For the gentlecolt, a steak cooked to absolute perfection with a side of perfectly steamed mashed potatoes."
  321. >Oh wow, the fragrance coming from the dish is nearly mouth watering; this is the sort of quality you would expect from a 5-star restaurant, not a prison
  322. >You want to start digging in so badly, but you know that it is rude to start before everyone has received their food
  323. >"And for the dragoness, the duck pasta with extra sauce."
  324. >As he uncovers her dish, a steaming mound of spaghetti noodles covered in an orangish red sauce, with pieces of roasted meat sprinkled in, sits in front of her
  325. >But, unlike you, she doesn't even seem to glimpse at it
  326. >She instead looks back at the waiter and asks him
  327. >"And?"
  328. >The waiter pony smiles back and reaches under the cart, where the cloth was hiding another rack
  329. >"And of course, the Dragon Surprise."
  330. >He then pulls out a bouquet of assorted flowers, several roses and some sort of green flower you have never seen before in there, along with many other standard flowers you would normally see in a bouquet
  331. >A bouquet of flowers? For Flizzy? What?
  332. "That's the dragon surprise?"
  333. >"No."
  334. >Flizzy stands up, grabs the bouquet, and walks over to you, kneeling by your side with her head still being a bit higher up than yours
  335. >She then takes the wrapped up box from earlier out of her tuxedo, unwrapping the outer layer, and puts it in her left claw, holding it out towards you while it rests on her palm
  336. >And in her right claw she holds the bouquet of flowers up towards you also
  337. >"This is the Dragon's Surprise."
  338. >Wait wait wait..
  339. >This can't be what your thinking
  340. >It must be something like--
  341. >"Anon, for the last few weeks we have known each other, I have been unable to stop thinking about you."
  342. >Holy shit, this is happening, isn't it?
  343. >Why is this happening, what?
  344. >"From the first moment I set eyes on ya, I felt that there was somethin' special about you that made ya different from every other creature I had ever met. You were small and weak, but still persevered through all that happened. No matter how unfair it all was, ya didn't lose your optimism or your kind heart that gave compassion to those who I would'a never forgiven myself. You showed me how kindness and strength can sometimes be the same thing."
  345. >She is going on about all of this amazing stuff, but you don't really see anything special about anything you did
  346. >Either way, aren't the gender roles here kind of reversed, shouldn't it be you doing this for her?
  347. >Would you even do this for her?
  348. >She is a dragon, not a human; you never even looked at her like that before
  349. >"Everything about ya, I absolutely love. This is why I worked so hard to make today the perfect day to try and show ya how much ya mean to me. I hope I was able to show it, but if this isn't enough, then let me continue to show you how much you mean to me, every single day, from mornin' until night, I want to be there for ya. Through thick and thin, I want to spend the rest of my life with ya."
  350. >Would it be bad for you to look at her like that?
  351. >Isn't this sort of thing still considered bestiality?
  352. >"What I'm tryin' to say is.. Anon, will ya be my mate?"
  353. >You thought you two were friends, could you even fall in love with someone who is a completely different species?
  354. >Could you even view her as hot, cute, or sexy?
  355. >If there is a god, would he forgive you if you did this?
  356. >How do you even feel about her? You don't even know anymore
  357. >Question after question races through your mind, everything about this situation leaving you stunned
  358. >Flizzy continues to kneel there, staring at you with eyes full of hope, arms outstretched
  359. >After about half a minute of complete silence, you still trying to process what is going on, she decides to continue on and try to help the situation go more smoothly
  360. >"I had this made for ya, Anon. Rocko helped me make it."
  361. >As she says that, she slowly opens the box present up to reveal an sharp tooth attached to a small silverish chain inside the box
  362. >"It is a dragon's tooth, my tooth, that was attached to the finest silver chain available in the prison. Dragon's teeth are extremely rare and valuable, due to the fact that there are very limited ways to get ahold of one, as most dragons would never sacrifice a tooth for anypony. It will probably take me around 20 years to grow back, but if those 20 years are filled with you, then a tooth was a small price to pay."
  363. >She motions for you to take the tooth, which you do
  364. >Slowly lifting the dragon tooth necklace up by the chain, you examine the tooth itself
  365. >It is whitened and bleached as best as a tooth that is practically turned into a piece of jewelry can be
  366. >"The tooth was too sharp before, so I got it dulled down so you wouldn't accidentally cut yourself on it."
  367. >You rub the side of the tooth and it is, as she said, completely dulled
  368. >As you look at Flizzy, confusing feelings swirl around you
  369. >This doesn't feel right at all, if you were gonna end up with her, then shouldn't you have done the asking?
  370. >That is considered the norm, as a human at least
  371. >But do you even like her?
  372. >She asked you to be her mate, does that mean that she is asking you to be the father of her children?
  373. >But you are so young, you really don't want to be a father at your age
  374. >Also, you remember how she once said that dragons mate for life
  375. >Are you willing to practically marry Flizzy on such unsure feelings?
  376. >..No you wouldn't
  377. >Not just because you want to be sure for yourself, but if it ended up being that you were unable to properly return her feelings, it would be unfair to Flizzy
  378. >That would be terrible
  379. >So that is your answer then..
  380. >But saying it is going to be harder than thinking it, as Flizzy is still looking at you with such hopeful eyes
  381. >And she has given you so much, even willing to sacrifice one of her teeth just to try and make you feel special
  382. >Your heart hurts as you think of how terrible this will sound, how she will take this..
  383. >But you just hope she understands
  384. "Flizzy.."
  385. >As you say her name, Flizzy's eyes brighten and a plume of smoke comes from her nose
  386. >"Yes Anon?"
  387. >Oh god, she looks too hopeful about this, as if she automatically assumes you are going to say 'yes'
  388. >But..
  389. "Flizzy. I am sorry."
  390. >As you say that, Flizzy goes immediately from bright and hopeful to distraught and fearful
  391. >"Sorry? Sorry for what? You are gonna say, yes. Right?"
  392. >She really didn't expect this answer to be coming, but you must stay strong
  393. >Strong enough to tell her exactly what needs to be said
  394. >You place the dragon tooth necklace she made back into its case
  395. >"Anon?"
  396. >As she lets out the question that seems more like a cry, your determination wavers even more
  397. >Keep strong, Anon. You can do this
  398. "Flizzy.. First I want to say, you are the absolute most best thing that has ever happened to me in this prison. You speak about how strong I was when facing everything terrible that had happened to me, but I really could not have done it without you. You were the support I needed, the individual I could confide in, the one that truly cared for what happened to me. You were, and still are, the reason I am able to stay so optimistic throughout all of the good and bad I have endured."
  399. >Flizzy cuts you off to add in her input, standing back up and accidentally hitting the table hard enough to cause her duck spaghetti to fall off the table, spilling all over the floor
  400. >"Then it is good, right? Because you are there for me and I am there for you, we need each other. So you are going to be my mate, right?"
  401. >After she is done giving her input, you sigh deeply and continue what you were saying
  402. "How I have been able to endure, and how I plan to continue to endure.. I do want you there for me in the future also. But I don't know.. I don't know if I feel the same way you do. I don't know if what I feel for you is love or if it is just a powerful sense of friendship."
  403. >You look away, too fearful to look her in the eyes as you tell her this
  404. >The thought of hurting Flizzy physically makes you ill, you can't stomach seeing her reaction if it is as negative as you believe it will be
  405. "It wouldn't be right of me to accept your offer without knowing how I feel first. If I ended up not loving you the same way you loved me, then you would be losing out on the love you truly deserve because of my inability to do so. That is why.."
  406. >Here it comes
  407. "I-I can't accept your confession. I am so sorry, Flizzy. I just can't do that to you. I can't do it without being sure of myself, sure of how I feel. Please forgive me Flizzy, I know this isn't how you expected it to turn out. You had done so much to make this day absolutely perfect, given me so much, and yet in the end I am unable to even give you an answer. I am so sorry, Flizzy."
  408. >With that, you have done it
  409. >You have told her what you needed to say, how you felt, and it felt terrible
  410. >Even after speaking, you couldn't bring yourself to look at Flizzy, couldn't bear to watch her get hurt
  411. >It felt like a coward's solution, just looking away, but it is all you could do; just thinking about how terrible this all is, how terrible you are, makes you cringe and feel nothing but deep guilt
  412. >..
  413. >As you sit, too afraid to look up at Flizzy, you hear her moving around
  414. >She places something on the table with a small 'thud' and lets out what sounds like a deep, long, breath
  415. >"*SIIIIIIGH*"
  416. "..Flizzy. I am so--"
  417. >As you are about to apologize once again, she places a claw over your mouth to hush you, before removing it and placing something on your head
  418. >As the object falls down your head, it goes around your neck and falls down to your chest, entering your vision; it is the dragon tooth necklace
  419. >Confused, you look back up to Flizzy, who had placed this gift of hers on your neck
  420. >As you open your mouth to speak, she once again places a claw on it to silence you and speaks instead
  421. >With a slightly forlorn look on her face, she speaks softly to you
  422. >"Anon.. That necklace belongs to you. It was not a bribe for you to accept my proposal, but a token of my honest feelings for you."
  423. >Flizzy..
  424. >Her face turns into a longing smile, her tone more confident as she speaks
  425. >"I understand what you are saying, but I don't want you to apologize for feeling the way you do. Just like how I won't apologize for falling in love with you."
  426. >With that, Flizzy places her claw on your head and gives a forced toothy smile, trying to seem more upbeat than she actually was feeling
  427. >But her next words do show a true air of confidence, the real Flizzy, the dragon in her that refuses to back down at any challenge
  428. >"If all I need to do is make ya fall in love with me, then I'll do that. It will be a quick fix that will solve all of this, so apologizin' is unnecessary, because there isn't even a problem. Just a promise from me to you that still needs to be fulfilled."
  429. >As Flizzy says that, she bends over to you and shoves her mouth up against yours, giving you a long, deep, kiss
  430. >Her tongue doesn't enter your mouth, but the way she moves her mouth up against your lips makes it seem as intimate, as if she is trying to caress your mouth with her own
  431. >Stunned, you move backwards as it happens, but she follows you downwards and continues it for another few seconds
  432. >As she releases the embrace of her mouth to your lips, you sit there in shock and confusion to her sudden action
  433. >She gives a devious smile and says to you in a playfully naughty tone
  434. >"That was my gift for doin' all of this for ya today, so ya can stop feeling guilty. I got exactly what I wanted."
  435. >Flizzy then takes your hand, which you allow her to move without resistance, and gives it a quick peck, before looking closely into your eyes and softly whispering into your ear
  436. >"I had a wonderful evenin'. Thank ya for accompanyin' me all day."
  437. >She then moves back in and gives you another kiss, this one much quicker and lighter, with only about a 1.5 seconds of contact
  438. >As Flizzy moves her head back, still semi-close to your face, she smiles at you and whispers
  439. >"And that was because I am a greedy dragon."
  440. >As you fall back into your chair, your head spins and all sorts of funny feelings are making your gut feel like a bag of Mexican jumping beans
  441. >Flizzy turns around to exit the room she turns back towards you for a second, again with a slightly sad longing smile
  442. >"I WILL make you feel appreciated. As long as you can stand me, I will be aiming to make your heart mine. You're going to love me.."
  443. >As she says that she exits the room, leaving you taken aback by everything had happened today, you back against the bottom of the chair
  444. >And now, along with the confusing feelings swarming you, you can't help but keep thinking about Flizzy; herself, the dragons in general, how her mouth felt as it caressed your lips, how, how, how..
  445. >Pretty much, you can't get anything Flizzy off your mind
  446. >And with that, your night ends with you silently eating a meal alone, going back to your cell to notice a sleeping Flizzy, choosing a different bed to sleep on than Flizzy, and constantly being assailed by thoughts of Flizzy left and right
  447. >Even your dreams that night contain revolve around thoughts of Flizzy
  448. >Today was a wonderful day, but you hope that tomorrow is not even close to as confusing
  449. >Simplicity is best.. right?
  450. >...
  451.
  452. >Be Flizzy
  453. >You just confessed to Anon and got rejected
  454. >After confessing, you promised to make him yours no matter what
  455. >But while you pretended to be confident, that rejection really hit you hard
  456. >As you left the cafeteria and got back to bed, you couldn't help but cry as you thought of Anon constantly telling you that he didn't love you
  457. >Or he didn't know if he did; though to you it is almost as bad
  458. >The only good thing is that you still have a chance, or so you believe
  459. >You refuse to believe that you, after all you have done, how you even planned to ask Anon to be your mate, using his 'hyooman' methods to try and boost your chances, you wouldn't be rewarded for it
  460. >The feelings that you felt back when you saw the tricorn sleeping on Anon's lap are coming back to you
  461. >The exact source for what the feelings are coming from is unknown, but the fact is the feelings themselves are agonizingly haunting as you try to sleep
  462. >After a while of struggling to sleep, Anon comes back to the room and walks towards the bunk
  463. >Even though you know he likely won't, you still hope that he comes and sleeps on the bed you are on again
  464. >You miss those days of having a hyooman cuddle pillow
  465. >It helped keep away any of the nightmares you occasionally had
  466. >But, as you guessed, he goes into the other bed to go to sleep
  467. >Eventually, long after Anon enters the cell, you finally fall asleep
  468. >The last few thoughts before falling asleep are of Anon and how you are going to make him fall for you
  469. >That night you dream of Anon and of the past, before you came to this prison
  470. >If only it were just dreams of Anon..
