  1. Hey guys, Brad here! I just wanted to let you all know that I have made some major improvements to the bot! I have added some new features that I think you guys will be like, as well as improve upon existing items. So, without further ado, here is what i've done:
  2.
  3. - Added a find song feature. This feature allows you to find a songs index number for requesting. This works by typing in !find [x], where [x] is the name of the song. The song name must be spelled correctly, spaced out correctly, and all lowercase. The entire command basically will be lowercase, so easy for you to remember. An example of this: If you want to find Ride The Lightning by Metallica, you would need to type in !find ride the lightning. If I have it, the bot will tell you I do. If you don't type in the song correctly, or if I simply don't have the song, the bot will also tell you. I actually have had this feature for at least a week, but I figured i'd tell you guys about it here.
  4.
  5. - The queue is now fully functional. It will display every song, regardless of if the song has been instant requested or not. Before, if someone instant requested something, the queue would only display the first song and the next, not the entire thing. I wanted to rectify that, so I did :)
  6.
  7. - The removal command has changed how it functions. Instead of typing in the number of the song, you now just type in the line. So, for example, to remove Through The Fire of Flames, that has a number of 134, you used to do so by typing in !r 134. Now, you would just simply type in !r 1. This also allows you to remove any individual line. For example, if someone requested a song accidentally and doesn't want to change it, and it's in the 8th spot (i'll get to that), you would just type in !r 8. Mods, I will tell you when to remove other lines, so by default just stick to !r 1 when I ask you to remove something :)
  8.
  9. - There is now a command that allows mods and myself to change a song out. This will only be done if someone accidentally adds a song. Before there was no way to do so, but now here is how it works. The command is !e [x] [z]. [x] is the line you are working with, and [z] is the number of the NEW song. So, for example, Revolution Deathsquad is requested, happens to be on line 5, and the person meant to request Operation Ground and Pound (Revolution Deathsquad is 122 and Operation Ground and Pound is 121). To change it, you would type in !e 5 121. Now, Operation Ground and Pound is in spot 5 instead of Revolution Deathsquad. Mods, if you are confused, just make sure to ask me exactly what to do and I will tell you what to type :)

  12. There is one final feature I plan to add as far as song adding/removal is concerned, but I won't be implementing that immediately because it's not exactly necessary for streamlining everything, and also i've been coding for about 2 days straight and really would like a small break lol. Also, Given that I added all of these features with minimal testing, there is the possibility of a glitch or an oversight happening. If you happen to notice something broken, please let me know immediately so I can attempt to fix it.
  13.
  14. Even though I don't stream quite as much as I used to, I still want your experience in my stream to be as enjoyable as possible :) Well, that's all for now, have a good one!
  15.
  16. All the best,
  17.
