Setting info

The quest takes place 10 years after the end of gold/silver/crystal.

Cinnabar Island was rebuilt into a vacation hotspot. The Ground type gym was moved here to hopefully combat the volcano should it explode again.

Pallete Town has grown with the rebuilding of Cinnabar as the shortest route to the vacation island. No gym has been established in town as of yet. A Pokecenter and Pokemart have been built to accommodate trainers heading to Cinnabar.

Viridian City has likewise grown a bit as the entrance town to Victory Road. The fire type gym was moved here after the games. Giovanni is reported to have returned but sightings are rare. Blaine has retired from actively leading the gym only giving advice to the new leader Jackson.

Pewter City is still home to the rock type gym and Brock still leads it as well.

Misty leads the Cerulean Gym. Still devoted to finding a boyfriend and water types.

Lt. Surge retired two years ago leaving Alan as the leader of the Electric Gym. Vermillion City has expanded its port and has become a powerhouse of shipping.

Sabrina leads the psychic Gym of Saffron City with more compassion than previously. Saffron has seen a small increase in new companies from over seas thanks to Vermillions expanded port.

Saffron city has remained mostly stable throughout the years being led by Erika and her grass gym.

Lavender Town has experienced a slight explosion of growth since a Ghost Type gym has been founded here. Led by a former follower of Morty from Johto Maxson.

Janine still commands respect in Fuschia City with her poison type gym and keeps the town expanding slowly for the Safari Zone.

A fairy Type gym has been established on the small island on route 14 led by Mary.
