Ana and Kazuma meet

[21:35]  * Anastasia_Locke steps into the elevator and presses the button for the ground floor
[21:36]  * Anastasia_Locke looks up as the elevator stops only a quarter of the way into its descent
[21:36]  * Kazuma_Raigeki quickly steps into the elevator, checking her watch
[21:36] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Bluh, I'm late!"
[21:36] <Anastasia_Locke> "Morning!"
[21:37] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Morning, did you sleep in too?"
[21:37]  * Anastasia_Locke and Kazuma_Raigeki descend to the ground floor
[21:37] <Anastasia_Locke> "What do you mean?"
[21:37]  * Anastasia_Locke steps outside and starts jogging to school
[21:38]  * Kazuma_Raigeki jogs after her
[21:38] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Well, if I don't hurry, I'm going to be late for school!"
[21:38] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "And if I'm late for school, that'd be more like an anime than a video game!"
[21:39] <Anastasia_Locke> "Ah, we'll be fine!"
[21:39] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Oh yeah, you go to my school too, don't you?"
[21:39] <Anastasia_Locke> "Think so, yeah.  I'm pretty sure I've seen you in the halls before."
[21:40] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Hehe, it's kinda hard not to. My symbol is kinda bright fuschia."
[21:40]  * Anastasia_Locke laughs "Only kinda."
[21:41] <Anastasia_Locke> "So, late night?  I get the feeling you ain't used to heading out this late."
[21:41] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Oh no, I always do this."
[21:42] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Video game characters always start their adventures by being woken up by their parents."
[21:42] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "So I kinda do that on purpose, waiting for the day my quest starts."
[21:42] <Anastasia_Locke> "Hah, I guess that's one way to go about it."
[21:43] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Do you usually head out this late?"
[21:43] <Anastasia_Locke> "All the time.  Haven't been late yet."
[21:43]  * Kazuma_Raigeki thinks to herself, "This is it, this is how I get my first party member. It's happening!"
[21:44] <Anastasia_Locke> "Otherwise I gotta spend time waiting for the doors to open, y'know?"
[21:44] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "True, characters never really wait for anything, they're always right on time."
[21:45] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "But I mean, I've kinda been waiting sixteen years for my quest to start..."
[21:45] <Anastasia_Locke> "Well come on, ya can't just wait!"
[21:45] <Anastasia_Locke> "MAKE a quest to do!"
[21:46] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "But that's not how it works!"
[21:46] <Anastasia_Locke> "Why not?"
[21:46] <Anastasia_Locke> "I do it all the time!"
[21:46] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Whenever the main character creates the quest, it's when they do something horribly, horribly wrong."
[21:46] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "And I'm not sure I can actually do that."
[21:47] <Anastasia_Locke> "Oh come on, that's crazy talk.  Just find something awesome and do that."
[21:47] <Anastasia_Locke> "EASY!"
[21:48] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Eh, I dunno, that might mess up the genre."
[21:48] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "If something goes wrong, I might end up in a horror game!"
[21:48]  * Anastasia_Locke laughs some more
[21:48] <Anastasia_Locke> "Pretty sure that wouldn't be from anything you did."
[21:48] <Anastasia_Locke> "Unless you're taking chem?"
[21:49] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Nah, I don't like chemistry."
[21:49] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Or any of the other sciences."
[21:49] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "The main character is never good at school, that would make them a Mary Sue."
[21:50] <Anastasia_Locke> "Hey, whatever makes you feel better about your grades."
[21:51]  * Kazuma_Raigeki laughs
[21:52]  * Anastasia_Locke smiles as they arrive
[21:53] <Anastasia_Locke> "If you're heading back, I'll see you at the end of the day?"
[21:53] <Kazuma_Raigeki> "Sure! Sounds like a plan!"
[21:53] <Anastasia_Locke> "Sweet.  I'm Ana, by the way."
[21:53]  * Anastasia_Locke sticks out her hand with a grin
[21:53]  * Kazuma_Raigeki shakes hand, grinning
