  1. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Alright, Ill give you a few "What would you do in this scenario" questions. Are you ready?
  2. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Yep.
  3. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): A character named "Obama" joins, 30 year old bald assistant. Database says their account is 1 day old. As soon as they board they run to the tool storage, grab a welder and a fueltank and run around in the halls with it.
  4. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): I'd first wind them due to the instant grabbing of tools, and tell them that joke/reference names aren't allowed.
  5. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): I'm not sure if it's possible for mods to change names in game, but I'd try to work out a suitable one with them. Also, I'd ask them about the welder and fuel tank.
  6. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): They claim that they got the tools to help the station since its their job to assist.
  7. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Were there any requests for fuel/biohazards that someone requested help with?
  8. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): No, but they have the tools "just in case someone needs help."
  9. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): I'd tell them that although their job is to assist, dragging a fuel tank around with a welder is a clear indication of a grief attempt, and I'd tell them to try to assist in other ways that mor effectively further RP. I'd warn them or leave a note saying how it's griefy behaviour.
  10. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Alright, next question. You recieve an adminhelp from a regular player on the server stating that they have been permabrigged for no reason, and that the officer that moved them in never said anything.
  11. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): I'd ask the name of the Officer that brigged them, and then ask them why they did it - especially with minimal interaction with the prisoner.
  12. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): The officer, whom you do not recognize, states he was ordered to do so by the warden. After checking, you discover the warden has cryo'd.
  13. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Are there any other security personnel/paperwork for the arrest lying around Security?
  14. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): You, as a moderator, do not have access to advanced logs and you are without an admin. The officer states he was simply told to place them in permanent holding, and that's all you know. They don't have an arrest warrant, and to the officer's knowledge, no evidence was raised.
  15. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Hmmm. I would tell the officer to release the prisoner, along with instruct him not to blindly permabrig someone on someone else's orders. I would advise the original reporter to either make a complaint on the warden (on the forums), or bring it up with an admin who could get a bit more insight to the situation.
  16. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Very well, next question then. You are in the lobby, only staff online, suddenly you see two people, an officer and a scientist shooting each other with lethal weapons. They officer dies and the scientist dies shortly after because of the wounds.
  17. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): You see them, as in, you see the attack logs.
  18. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): PM them both asking why they were firing at each other with lethals
  19. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Both give the same response, "He shot me first."
  20. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Who does it show shot first on logs, and was there any prior interaction between them?
  21. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): The first attack log is the officer shooting the scientist, however, both say that they missed a few times before someone actually hit. (Just shooting guns doesn't cause attack logs.) Both still say they just walked down the hallway, the officer headed towards escape and the scientist just went out of science.
  22. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): I would ask the scientist why he had taken a lethal waepon outside of science, and whether the officer would have seen it when walking past.
  23. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Oh, wait. Are either of them antags?
  24. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Scientist says he wanted to bring the weapon to security, he has a signed and stamped form in his backpack that allows him to bring that weapon to the firing range and test it there. Weapon was also in his backpack, the officer wasn't able to see it. And no, both are normal players.
  25. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Okay. I'd tell the officer what the scientist said and ask him why he engaged with lethals at all. If he still just sticks with "He shot first" I would warn him for improper escalation of force.
  26. PM to ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Officer had a weapon because a wizard caused troubles earlier and its still code blue. He was patrolling.
  27. [Player PM] ShameOnTurtles/(ShameOnTurtles)(?): Ah. I still would warn them about the fact they fired on the scientist especially considering they had a signed and stamped form stating they could leave science with it.
