Other public Universities in LA could be forced to close though, because they have way to many and it is killing LA financially. Smaller schools closing could cause people to get "incomplete" grades for Spring semester, which would hurt students who paid for the class and athletes because they would no longer be eligible for sports next fall. Athletes must have completed so many class to maintain eligibility. LSU has a slim chance at closing, but suspending the TOPS program is hurting a lot of students because they can no longer pay for classes and are forced to dropout or get (more) student loans.
