	Rattata: 	Rattata is healed and gains 32 hit points.
Avara has connected.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Yesterday, Wednesday 20th of May, Team Oak began their first Gym encounter. They caught a Rattata along the way, ran through the questions, completed a single battle and obtained the badge. There was happiness,laughter, confusion and anger to be had! Welcome to the World of Pokémon!
Kaorin Sakura: 	The current time is 7:30 AM, May 21st. 75 degrees (with an expected low of 77 and high of 91) with 61% humidity. There's 11 mph winds.
Kaorin Sakura: 	It is Thursday.
	Venec: 	Venec sat in the pokemon center, bags sitting by his side from a shopping trip the evening after the gym battle. "Hey Jupiter!" Venec waved over.
Danny: 	Danny, having taken it easy yesterday while everyone else adventured, had stayed behind at the PokeMon Center.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter waved back, admiring his hat in the mirror. He looked really dang snazzy in it.
Danny: 	Danny woke up, got dressed, then met up with Venec.
	Larry: 	Larry walked alongside Danny with a carefree rhythm in his step.
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus arose rather rapidly from his sleep, jumping awake almost with a bound. The echo of his feet on the ground was almost jolting. He jumped too hard.
	Cepheus: 	He spent some time fumbling with something about his neck - it looked like a magatama on a leather string. Then he went down to the lobby to meet up with the others.
	Danny: 	Danny eyed the bags by Venec's feet. The man had obviously been out shopping. "What have you got there, Venec?"
	Danny: 	Danny pointed at the bags at Venec's feet.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter was there already waiting for Cepheus, and he waved feverishly to him. He pointed to his hat.
	Cepheus: 	"...You didn't steal that hat from someone, I hope."
Kaorin Sakura: 	If you look up the whole sky is one smooth whitish dome. A form of walking pneumonia of the spirit. The spots of gray and black randomly set asa backdrop of the white and the blue of the sky completely invisible.
	Danny: 	Danny looked up.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter shot Cepheus a look. How could he even think that he'd steal something?
	Danny: 	"Jupiter looks different," Danny observed. "Did you get a new haircut?"
	Venec: 	"Morning Danny, Larry." Venec waved as he walked over to the computer to switch out his pokemon. First he sent them out. Rhea, the Mienshao. Yue, the Ponyta. And Komiho the Minccino. "Hey everyone," he told them, "I wanted to thank you for the hard work. I'm going to switch you out now so you have a chance to relax." Venec smiled and stroked Yue's neck. "You did great Yue. Now don't let Adena bully you any. I hope you have enough space to run around." He crouched to talk to Komiho. "You're tough for your size, you know that? Make sure everyone stays tidy, okay?" He then turned himself to Rhea, bowing to her. "I'm going to miss you in our morning Tai Chi play session. You've become very strong Rhea, I'm proud of you. I promise you'll get a round in the Pokemon League once we get there, alright?" He stood up, "Thanks for all your help, I wouldn't have gotten as far as I have so quickly without your help."
	Layla: 	Layla whined as her playmate Komiho was going away. She gave the small Minccino a loving nuzzle.
	Cepheus: 	"...Jupiter doesn't have hair, Danny. Obviously the difference is the haircut."
	Cepheus: 	*is the hat
DNA: 	How I messed that up, I'll NEVER know.
DNA: 	...Not my day today.
	Danny: 	"I suppose," Danny smirked, somehow feeling like he just bested Cepheus on a different level.
* Jupiter struck a pose. His hat gave him an aura of superiority.
* G.Oak enters the area, looking terribly stressed and overworked. He carries a cup of coffee in his right hand and sips it leisurely before approaching the group.
	Larry: 	"Good morning, Venec," Larry replied to Venec. "Good morning, Cepheus. Good morning, Jupiter. You look particularly good in a fedora hat."
	Larry: 	Larry turned to Professor Oak with a concerned expression.
	Cepheus: 	"Good morning, Larry," Cepheus nodded to Larry.
	Cepheus: 	"Wait...oh darn, she's still sleeping! I'll be right back."
* Cepheus dashed back up the stairs back to his room to check on Grace.
	Cepheus: 	(Grace, you awake yet?) he whispered.
	G.Oak: 	"Everyone, I'm glad to see all of you in good spirits. As you all are aware, Kia has returned to her ranch to care for her father and continue his dream. She left each of you her Pokémon although Miranda is sitting tight at my lab refusing to see anyone or be anyone's Pokémon currently. Considering she was Kia's, I suppose it's her choice. After all, her new Trainer suddenly abandoned her. I imagine that'll take some time to recover from."
	Larry: 	"We may need to listen to the professor now," he noted. His words carried some weight of urgency of this moment.
* Jupiter 's eyes started to well up. Kia, gone? Awwwwwwwwww....
	Larry: 	Larry made a thoughtful face upon the mention of Miranda.
	Jupiter: 	(Wait, where'd the boss go?)
	Venec: 	Venec overheard but he wasn't in the mood to ruin his goodbye. The reason he was proccessing in the pokemon center was not to see Oak.
	Larry: 	He seemed completely unfazed by Kia's departure.
	G.Oak: 	"This being said, I looked over my list of possible Trainers for the team. I notified someone else just as qualified as Kia for the journey. As luck would have it, she's down at the Contest Hall south of Viridian. When you all have a moment, you should head there and recruit her."
	Danny: 	Danny, however, was crying.
	Danny: 	"I will treasure her memory forever!"
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter saw Danny crying as well, and although he himself was on the verge of tears, he didn't want to hug it out with Danny. That would be a sign of weakness.
	Danny: 	"Nobody can replace our darling Kia!"
* Grace was walking toward everyone and accidentally ran into Cepheus as he rushed to her, "Ooof!"
	Cepheus: 	"Oh...sorry, dear."
* Cepheus rubbed his nose.
	G.Oak: 	"In spirit no, but the 4th slot needs to be filled. At least, in my mind it does. I like four's."
	G.Oak: 	"Actually, most Professor's do, ironically. The other teams are groups of 4 as well."
	Danny: 	"I see!" Danny shifted in place, "We mustn't let those other groups one-up us!"
	Cepheus: 	"Anyway, Oak's down in the lab and had some sort of announcement to make, so I'm going to hop down there and see what he has to say. You'll follow me, right?"
	Danny: 	"Team Oak will be the mightiest, most fearsome group of all!"
	Layla: 	Layla ran up to Professor Oak, barking happily. (I got a ribbon! A ribbon!) Just behind her left ear a pink bow was tied into the tuft of fur on her head.
	Danny: 	Danny then became cocky. "Especially under my leadership."
	Grace: 	"Oak? Must be important, yeah."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter began to scrutinize the situation. Would Kia's replacement ever be able to take the place of Kia? He really doubted it."
DNA: 	By the time Cepheus got down the stairs again, he was merely catching the tail end of the announcement.
	Larry: 	"I suggest the team heads to meet this new recruit as soon as possible," Larry interjected.
	Layla: 	(A ribbon!)
	Cepheus: 	(New recruit? We're getting a 5th?)
	Cepheus: 	(After Ramora, I'm not so optimistic...)
	G.Oak: 	"I think she's doing the Normal Rank Contest today. You might be able to catch her performance. Or join in if you get there early enough."
	Layla: 	(Little Sister!) She ran over to Grace (I got a ribbon! It's pretty and pink because I'm a good girl!)
	Grace: 	"A ribbon? Were you in a Contest yesterday?"
* Cepheus saw Layla almost zip past his legs.
	Cepheus: 	"...Wait, Jupiter, why are you crying?"
Avara is disconnected.
Avara is disconnected.
* Jupiter got out the paper clip and tapped out a message. "Kia left."
	Cepheus: 	"...Permanently?"
	G.Oak: 	"Well, I hope you all rise in spirits soon! Kia may have left us but she hasn't left our hearts. Who knows, we may see her again in the future. But, don't let that discourage you. We all know she wouldn't want that."
* Jupiter nodded.
	Cepheus: 	"Oh...oh dear."
* G.Oak takes a heavy sip from his coffee.
	G.Oak: 	"Well, that's the message. I'll be heading back to my lab. You all take care!"
Avara has connected.
* G.Oak turned and began to walk back to his lab.
	Venec: 	Venec turned back to his pokemon and nodded. He wasn't sure what to think of Kia, but thinking of Kia could wait. He had a mission.
	Cepheus: 	"...So, from what I picked up, we're headed to the Contest Hall to meet our new acquaintance?"
Avara: 	(did gary say Smell Ya Later? if not... rewind time and make him say it)
DNA: 	...ah crap.
Avara: 	beep beep imma jeep.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Continue. Oak won't say that.
DNA: 	we need to coordinate better.
	Venec: 	Venec returned his pokemon and switched them out for three new ones. Momo the Buneary, Mimsy the Poochyena and the newest capture, the Ratatta Venec had decided to name Sarah.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter was fascinated with his fedora, and he was spinning around watching it. No matter how much he spun, his hat stayed in place! It was fascinating.
	Venec: 	He turned to Lucy and Jupiter, holding up a bag, "Ready to show her?"
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter stopped spinning, then turned to Venec and nodded enthusiastically.
* Lucy nodded firmly.
	Venec: 	Venec reached into the bag and pulled out a soft, paper-wrapped package wide enough to be held in both hands and walked over to Grace. "Good morning Grace. I went shopping with Lucy, Layla and Jupiter yesterday. I had a promise to keep." He held out the package with both hands.
* Grace blinked as she watched Venec, "What're you gettin' at?" She watched as he held the packout out to her and she took it, "Promise?"
* Grace she turned to Cepheus expectantly, as if he knew.
* Grace opened the package and pulled out a kimono.
* Cepheus made no hints.
	Venec: 	Venec smiled as she pulled it out. It was a lavender colored, short skirted kimono, decorated with pastel shades of purple and blue forming wisps and swirls. "Not exactly pants but I didn't think that would fit you. The salesman said that the design was 'arua caligraphy', it's supposed to be what an aura looks like."
	Cepheus: 	"Wow, that's beautiful...more than I have words to describe," Cepheus said softly. "Venec...I don't know how to thank you."
* Grace blinked as she looked it over, feeling the material and slowly putting it on, making sure to wrap it correctly and she spun around.
* Jupiter was positively giddy. It looked amazing on her.
	Grace: 	"Still would've preferred pants to establish dominance, but this is amazing too. Thank you, Tatakai-kun!"
	Lucy: 	"You don't need to lie, Grace."
	Venec: 	"The aura is supposed to be something like 'fighting for your loved ones' I think." Venec laughed at Grace's comment.
* Crystal is fussing over Eli the Electrode by the contest center, making sure the accessories she'd made all fit. Eli has a pair of shades, a cape, and a top hat on, all sized to fit it specifically.
* Grace glanced over to Venec briefly before looking back Lucy.
	Grace: 	"You can't read my mind! YOU stop lying!"
	Lucy: 	"Don't gotta to read your feelings."
* Grace huffed for a moment before turning and folding her arms.
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus now felt indebted to Venec for his kind gesture towards Grace. He wasn't sure what the best thing would be to do in response, and he wondered if he'd ever be able to match that.
	Venec: 	As the two were talking Venec returned to the bag, pulling out another one and walking back, standing behind and just to the side of Lucy.
* Lucy turns to Venec as he moves, "...Yes?"
	Venec: 	"I got something for you too. I'm not sure if I was sneaky enough to buy it without you noticing." He smirked.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter floated over to Grace, who still appeared to be a little miffed, and tapped her on the shoulder.
	Lucy: 	"...You didn't have to buy me anything and no, I don't remember you getting whatever that is."
	Venec: 	"You've helped me a lot. I didn't have many fiends growing up, mostly out in the woods. I know it doesn't seem like long but you and Layla have been the best friends I've ever had. So I wanted to get you this." He held out the package.
	Jupiter: 	(Do...do you like it?) he asked in his trademark whirring.
* Lucy pauses for a moment and shuffles her feet uneasily before looking away and accepting the package, "Uhh...thanks."
	Venec: 	Venec chuckled a little.
	Layla: 	(A ribbon!)
	Layla: 	Layla spun in circles to try and see it.
* Lucy giggled a bit as she watched Layla run around, "Fine, fine, I'll open it."
* Lucy carefully opened the package and set the box on the ground as she pulled the contests out.
	Venec: 	The package revealed a pastel pink, classical kimono. Black lines etched out floral patterns from head to toe with different tints and shades of pink, red and brown coloring the the pedals and leaves.
	Jupiter: 	(I...I think it looks really good on you!) Jupiter said, almost coughing the words out. (We all picked it out together for you.)
	Lucy: 	"..."
	Venec: 	Venec stood smiling as best as he could. He was worried what she would think and wasn't the best at hiding his emotions.
* Lucy looked over her belted vest before looking at the kimono and shifted uneasily.
	Lucy: 	"I-I...can't wear it with the vest."
	Lucy: 	"I'll put it on later. I'm not gonna change in public. And I don't want to ruin it but I do like it Venec. It's oddly...cute and girly. I wasn't expecting that."
* Lucy shifted again before looking at Venec with concern.
	Lucy: 	"Do...do you like girly women, Venec?"
	Venec: 	Venec laughed a little. "It's just something if ever you feel like dressing up."
* Grace blinked and stared, wide-eyed.
* Jupiter resisted the urge to make a cooing noise at Lucy's comment...successfully.
DNA: 	At least that Lampent wasn't around.
	Venec: 	Venec blinked at Lucy's comment as well. "U-um... I don't really..." He didn't know how to answer a question that blunt. He shifted uncomfrotably. "I just thought... um.."
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus was quietly standing off to the side, not saying anything. He was afraid that him saying anything would ruin the moment, so he kept silent.
* Lucy watched for a moment before punching him in the arm.
	Lucy: 	"Yeah, yeah. I get it. Let's get going. I'll wear it later. When I'm not showing off my boobs."
	Grace: 	"Wait...do you sleep with your clothes on?"
	Venec: 	"Ow!" Venec said, then laughed as the tension was shattered in front of him.
	Lucy: 	"No, of course not."
	Grace: 	"So, he's seen you naked."
	Lucy: 	"No, of course not."
	Grace: 	"...How?"
	Lucy: 	"Sleepwear."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter turned around. What on earth was going on with this conversation?
	Venec: 	"I sleep with my clothes- you don't- wait no! yeah..." Venec was having trouble keeping up with the conversation.
	Lucy: 	"Anyway, aren't we going somewhere?"
	Grace: 	"Are we?"
	Jupiter: 	(...isn't Grace going to say how much she likes the present...)
* Jupiter felt ignored and sad.
Kaorin Sakura: 	I thought that was directed to Lucy.
	Jupiter: 	That what?
You whisper to DNA: Yes! It's really cool!
	Grace: 	"Wherever we go, I want to punch or kick something."
	Venec: 	Venec stood there, flustered. He took a breath to cool down but then Lucy's voice echoed through his head. "When I'm not showing off my boobs." It took every drop of willpower Venec had not to glance over. He honestly hadn't noticed if her usual outfit did or didn't.
	Hilton: 	"P-Punch or kick?"
Jupiter whispers: You think boss-man likes it? Let's ask him!
	Cepheus: 	"She likes trying out her stylish moves."
	Hilton: 	"Your Gardevoir punches...and...and...kicks?"
	Grace: 	"HEY! I resent that!"
	Cepheus: 	"...Is that a problem?"
	Grace: 	"My name is GRACE! G-R-A-C-E! I don't go around calling you that HUMAN do I?!"
	Lucy: 	"...I did for a while."
	Lucy: 	"Still do sometimes."
	Hilton: 	"I am terribly sorry, Grace. I did not mean to offend. I was merely surprised. It's just both odd and rare for someone of your species to fight...well, physically."
	Grace: 	"Well, I'm not GOOD at it, but I want to be."
	Hilton: 	"Are you good at energy waves and similar attacks?"
	Grace: 	"Well yeah, that comes naturally."
	Hilton: 	"Then you're in luck. I happen to know how to teach you how to utilize your natural talents in the forms of opposite attacks. How to throw your natural aura around a physical attack to change it to special, and vice versa. The change is permanent though. Pokémon work in mysterious ways like that."
	Crystal: 	"Hm... it seems like it'll be a while before the contest begins. Maybe I should ask someone what else goes on around here? I think I saw a sign about a pokemon professor earlier."
	Grace: 	"....What's the catch?"
	Venec: 	Venec noticed that everyone was distracted by Hilton at the moment. Curiosity getting the best of him he glanced over at Lucy's vest.
	Hilton: 	"Well, why give something away for free when you can make a profit off of it? In my case, I'm retired so, this and my Move Tutoring techniques are how I still earn a living."
* Crystal walks around the block, Eli spinning along behind her. "Ah, there it is."
* Lucy wore a belted vest that completely covered her chest but left her stomach bare. You could clearly tell the define of her breasts but it didn't expose her skin there at all.
	Venec: 	Venec glaced away as quick as he could.
* Crystal approaches Professor Oak's lab, then goes over her and Eli's accessories one more time before knocking.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The doors of the Professors Lab open automatically as you walk up to them. Inside of the lab lied various equipment, most of which could only be assumed as to what functions they held. There were a few Pokémon wandering around, Rhyperior, Geodude and an Eevee. Oak himself was sitting down at a desk staring at a computer screen.
	Cepheus: 	(Permanently switching physical and special attack capabilities? Is that kind of switch even worth it when one will still be subpar in one of the areas?)
	Cepheus: 	(It'd probably just be more worth it to train physically,) he was thinking.
Kaorin Sakura: 	( Too clarify, he's referring to the move attack type, not the Pokemon. )
Kaorin Sakura: 	( Changing Fire Punch to be special attack and not physical )
DNA: 	(That's what I assumed was meant.)
* Lucy notices Venec and follows his gaze and looks down before looking back to him.
	Lucy: 	"It's protective. No, you can't have it. I'm not wearing anything under it."
	Venec: 	Venec is quite adamantly staring at a poster on the pokemon center's wall.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter had nothing else to do, so he went back to spinning his hat.
	Crystal: 	"Hello? May I come in? I'm new in town, and I was hoping I could get some information on what usually happens around here, aside from the Contest Hall."
* G.Oak looked up from his computer and chuckled, "Crystal!"
	G.Oak: 	"Of course, come in. Did the everyone find you okay?"
	Jupiter: 	Oh right. He just remembered something. He tapped Cepheus on the shoulder.
	Cepheus: 	"Yes, Jupiter? What is it?"
	Jupiter: 	"mmmmmmmmzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt"
	Crystal: 	"Everyone? Who's everyone? I just thought I'd check in here, since Professors tend to be the ones to help new people around... or at least, that's how my sisters always explain it."
	Cepheus: 	"...You know I can't understand you like that."
* Jupiter triumphantly held up the paper clip! He started tapping.
	G.Oak: 	"...I guess you never got the memo. Well, you already have a Pokédex and when you meet up with everyone, they can sync yours to be active on the Team. I've tasked a small group of people like yourself....or not like yourself, to travel the world and update the Pokédex system to establish environmental changes, migrations and what-not of Pokémon. They should've met up with you at the Contest Hall."
	Cepheus: 	"How's the kimono look?" he said, his voice low, so as not to interrupt the main conversation. "Rapturous."
	Jupiter: 	(?) He clearly had no idea what the word meant.
* Grace grinned, obviously understanding the meaning.
	Venec: 	"W-well!" Venec interupted. "We do have somehwere to go..."
	Jupiter: 	(What does that mean?) he tapped.
	Lucy: 	"Yes. We do. This is the 5th time it's been said."
	Grace: 	"Then why are we STILL standing here?"
	Venec: 	"Waiting for you to figure out your punch thing."
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus laughed a bit. "I'll let you figure that out on your own, my friend."
	Danny: 	All this time, Danny had been too distracted by Larry to ever worry about anything else.
	Jupiter: 	!
* Lucy adjusted her belted vest, grabbing her own breasts to adjust them slightly before straightening her skort and grabbing her own rear briefly. She tapped her boots to the ground, adjusting them before pointing down the street.
* Jupiter tapped out another message.
	Danny: 	"The leader demands we take action!"
	Lucy: 	"I agree, hence the pose."
	Danny: 	Danny then exited the Center and dashed ahead of everybody else.
	Cepheus: 	"Am I staring at her butt? What kind of a question is that?"
	Crystal: 	"... Oh." She puts one hand to her mouth, half-closed, holding the elbow with her other hand as she thinks. "So... we're going to travel the region for science? Sounds fun, and it should let me find out about a lot more pokemon and contests." She smiles, nodding. "Buuut... They didn't make it to the Contest Hall. Do they get distracted a lot?"
* Grace turned to Cepheus.
	Venec: 	Venec walked to the pokemon center door at a quick a pace as he could manage. The warm spring day feeling almost cool to him after that exchange.
	Grace: 	"Sorry, I was staring at Lucy's butt."
	Larry: 	Larry ambled at his own pace to the waiting Danny.
* Lucy blushed deeply before suddenly following Danny.
	Larry: 	"Lucy's butt?"
	Cepheus: 	"And I was staring at yours. I'm sorry too."
	Jupiter: 	!?
	Jupiter: 	(I'm so confuuuuuuuuused...)
	Larry: 	"Danny," Larry said, tugging at Danny's shirt, "I wanted to ask you for something first."
	Danny: 	"What is it Larry?" Danny looked concerned.
	Larry: 	"I wanted to stay behind with the Professor for a moment. I wanted a chance to talk to Miranda."
	Larry: 	"I am certain everybody else will be kind enough to look after while I not present," Larry stated loud enough for everyone to hear.
	G.Oak: 	"i'm sure the fact that they're still in Viridian since it's almost been two weeks since they began means they get distracted a lot. But, they've seen a lot of Pokémon and caught quite a few, so I'm not complaining."
	Cepheus: 	"All right, I'll keep an eye on him."
	Cepheus: 	"Just one, though. The other one's preoccupied."
	Danny: 	Danny looked at Cepheus, though looked at Larry with a sad glance. "I will miss you!"
	Danny: 	Danny gave Larry a big hug.
	Larry: 	"Don't worry, Danny," Larry noted. "I will be ready to be back with you in just a little bit. I just want to clear some things up with Miranda."
	Crystal: 	"Two weeks?" She frowns a bit, imagining having to drag them all around whenever a contest was announced in another city. "Well..." She gives it a bit of thought, before shrugging. "It'd be good to get some experiences with pokemon aside from what I'm used to. I just hope we all get along--what are they like?"
	Danny: 	"Okay." Sniff. "Okay. LET'S GO!"
	Venec: 	Venec walked along, slowing his pace as he moved away from the center. Layla skipped happily behind him.
	Cepheus: 	"Time to follow Venec's lead. Danny, you're with me."
	Larry: 	Larry waved goodbye for the time-being.
	G.Oak: 	"They're all unique. But, you'll meet them soon enough. Might as well head back to the Hall in case they get there looking for you."
	Danny: 	"Cepehsu," Danny said in a sad voice. "Do you think he misses me?"
	Crystal: 	"Alright. Thanks for letting me know what's going on, Professor. Good luck with whatever you're working on."
	Cepheus: 	"...He? As in Larry? I'm sure he misses you."
* Crystal turns to leave.
	Venec: 	Venec continued walking to the Contest hall, Lucy rejoining him after Danny stopped. He felt strange with her behind him this time, after being caught in the center he was worried how she was looking at him.
	Cepheus: 	"I'm sure whatever he was doing required that he be alone for the time being."
	Danny: 	Danny sniffed in sadness. "I hope you're right," Danny cried a little.
	G.Oak: 	"Just fluxes in the worldly grid. It makes no sense. Just trying to figure it out. Take care!'
	Cepheus: 	"Now, if memory serves, we should be meeting our replacement in the contest hall..."
	Venec: 	Venec nodded.
Kaorin Sakura: 	When each of you approach the Contest Hall, it's a large old looking building that still has the shine as if it were new. The building has a large scroll on the front declaring it the Contest Hall. It's not overly fancy so much as it's traditional or 'old school'.
* Crystal heads around the block again, checking her own accessories--a cape matching Eli's, a long headband, and a sash around her waist.
	Venec: 	"... so who is this person? I didn't catch that part."
	Cepheus: 	"I remember buildings like this in Sinnoh. It was a rather big fad there when I was around. To see it spread all the way here is...interesting."
	Cepheus: 	"I think Oak said it was a woman...that's all I remember."
* Crystal heads in behind a big group of people, wondering if they might be the ones the professor mentioned.
	Crystal: 	"Hello? I'm looking for a party under... Professor Oak, I think?"
	Cepheus: 	"...You THINK you're looking for a party?"
	Venec: 	"Hm? That's us I think. Team Oak?"
DNA: 	(Italics don't transmit that well on here)
	Danny: 	"We need a less vague question, Miss."
	Crystal: 	"I think that's the name of the professor."
	Danny: 	"We're a team under Professor Oak. We're Team Oak. The greatest team of them all."
	Danny: 	Danny eyed the girl and noted this girl have his Charisma a run for his money. "Damn. You're hawt."
* Crystal has short-cut cyan hair, slightly tanned skin from travelling between towns, and orange-brown eyes. She's wearing a pink button-up shirt with a long blue skirt, a red sash joining the two. Her cape is black, with white stars giving it a cosmic feel, and her headband is red like her sash.
* Nurse Joy exits the Contest Hall, nearly bumping into Layla.
	Nurse Joy: 	"Oh dear! Sorry, Layla!"
	Venec: 	Venec stood just a little over five foot tall, short for his age. He still had a bit of a boyish look on his face but even under his green longcoat a strength could be felt. His hair was long and ill-combed and his clothes are worn with age. While everything about him looks clean he wears it uncomfortably, as if dirt were closer to natural attire for him.
	Crystal: 	"Erm... thanks? People usually aren't so direct about it."
	Layla: 	(It's okay! Want to see my ribbon!) Layla barked
* Nurse Joy giggled to her and reached down, petting her gently.
	Nurse Joy: 	"I can see your Ribbon, Layla. It looks good on you."
	Layla: 	Layla licked up, nicking her wrist as she pet her. (I got it because I'm a good girl!)
	Layla: 	*Joy's wrist
* Nurse Joy turned to Crystal and crossed her arms.
	Nurse Joy: 	"The Contest is going to start soon. Are you entering the team side or the solo side? Duet's aren't until Saturday."
	Danny: 	Danny was short, slim and fashionable. The boy had an edge to his green eyes that told everybody he meant business. His hair was dyed green to reflect the rejuvinated, metrosexual oomph of this flamboyant model-like young man.
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus looked almost out of place, standing almost head-and-shoulders above the rest of the group, just over six feet tall. His hair seemed to be tattered from travelling and his light tan was rather evident. Everything about his clothing was blue, from his hair to his vest to his jeans to his shoes, save the painfully obvious bronze wristband.
	Danny: 	"I'm an honest person," Danny shot back.
	Danny: 	"I don't dance around words."
	Crystal: 	"Team or Single... Well, I guess that depends on if these guys want to join me. I was going to enter the beauty contest, but I don't have anyone else to team up with."
	Danny: 	"Single."
* Crystal looks at Danny. "Alright, I'll keep that in mind."
	Danny: 	Danny waggled his eyebrows.
	Cepheus: 	"Danny, please stop trying to hit on the newbie. It tarnishes your first impression."
	Danny: 	"Fine." Danny pouted.
	Nurse Joy: 	"Well, todays theme is Beauty and Cool. And this is the qualifying round for the Super Contest on Saturday."
	Danny: 	"I miss Larry."
* Nurse Joy turned to the rest of the group.
	Cepheus: 	"He'll be back eventually.
	Nurse Joy: 	"If you're all going to join, you'll need to get ready in the dressing rooms."
	Crystal: 	"Do we have much time? I think I'll need to take a moment to help them prepare."
* Lucy gasped loudly.
	Lucy: 	"I could put on my new outfit."
	Venec: 	"I've always wanted to try a beauty contest."
	Danny: 	"I think I will just watch," Danny noted.
	Danny: 	"I am too depressed about Larry's vanishment."
	Cepheus: 	"... ... ...All right, fine, since the rest of you are doing it." ...He didn't think he'd like it, though. He never liked the ones back home.
	Venec: 	"Go with Larry, don't worry about it." Venec told him.
	Danny: 	Danny entered the contest, intending to watch from the crowd in an undisclosed location. He would be out of the Team's hair for a little while.
	Venec: 	"You're interesting in trying Lucy?" Venec was a little surprised at how eager she was.
Danny is disconnected.
	Lucy: 	"Yeah, they alway seem so interesting. Combat with more strategy."
	Cepheus: 	"...I never really saw the point of contests. It's just all about looking good, from what I saw...not much else."
	Lucy: 	"But, not sure how fit I am for them so, I understand if you don't pick me."
	Crystal: 	"What can you do," she asks Lucy firmly.
	Lucy: 	"I can...beat stuff up?"
	Venec: 	"You're beautiful enough." Venec said that bluntly, as if it were an obvious observation. "I was just surprised, you don't normally take charge like that."
	Crystal: 	"Yes, but how? Your abilities will be judged on if they're Cool, Beautiful, Cute, Tough or Smart... or at least give off the feeling of such."
	Lucy: 	"They're pretty interesting."
* Lucy turned to Crystal and shrugged.
	Lucy: 	"I dunno. I've only been a Pokemon for...12 days."
* Crystal looks at Venec. "What moves can she use?"
	Venec: 	"A lot. Dragon moves, Psychic moves..." He looked to Lucy for help.
	Crystal: 	"Dragon's good. It's a cool-beauty contest, so anything that isn't one of those will be less effective. From what I understand, Dragon moves tend to be Cool."
	Nurse Joy: 	"Yes, yes. You all can discuss that inside. Now, the Contest is about to start."
* Nurse Joy motions for all of you to follow her as she enters the Contest Hall.
* Crystal walks behind Venec and Lucy. "Give me a moment and I'll have you both ready for the show."
	Cepheus: 	(A Pokemon Contest...and I'm participating in one? What have I gotten myself into?) he was thinking as he went inside.
	Venec: 	Venec nodded, he didn't know enough about contests, "Alright, I'll leave it up to you."
Kaorin Sakura: 	The Contest hall was surprisingly large for it's building. Nurse Joy ushers all of you off into a hidden hallway to the right and you end up in a large area of dressing rooms.
Kaorin Sakura: 	There were a ton of discarded items scattered everywhere.
	Nurse Joy: 	"Now, usually you all are required to bring your own items with you but with how quickly the show is going to start, you can use what's here. Be ready in 5."
* Nurse Joy turns and exists the room.
	Cepheus: 	"...I feel so tremendously out of place in here..."
	Grace: 	"...She didn't explaint he Contest to us."
	Venec: 	Venec looked nervious.
* Grace sighs painfully.
	Grace: 	"Alright, you Trainers can only enter with 1 Pokemon. Period."
	Grace: 	"You need to dress yourselves AND your Pokemon. But don't overdo it. Try to make a theme or something."
	Grace: 	"There's 3 stages."
	Cepheus: 	(How does she know all this? Was she in a contest before meeting me?)
* Crystal lets Grace try explaining, while she starts trying to adjust everyone's outfits and weapons, trying to groom them all to at least presentability.
	Venec: 	Venec turned to Lucy "You have a kimono. I have a naginata. If I can find some formal samurai outfit we'll be set for theme."
	Grace: 	"The introductory stage, where you need to make a dynamic entry with your Pokémon."
	Grace: 	"The appeal stage where you show off what you and your Pokémon can do together."
	Jupiter: 	At the mention of the word dynamic, Jupiter started tugging Cepheus' sleeve. (Dynamic! I can totally do this!)
	Jupiter: 	(Pick me! Pick me!)
	Grace: 	"And the style stage, where a Pokémon battle occurs where you try to knock your opponent out of style or look like a fool. Knocking out the enemy pokemon makes them look like a complete idiot so that's a viable strategy."
	Grace: 	"The points you rack up during the intro and appeal at your life blood."
	Grace: 	"The style stage what you do against the opposing team reduces their total score. Whoever has the most points by the time limit wins."
Kaorin Sakura: 	You're free to use whatever items your minds can come up with. There's literally EVERYTHING available to you here.
* Jupiter rushed about and found himself a random cape and cane strewn about the ground, then struck a magnificent pose with the cane, jutting out into the air!
	Cepheus: 	"Next time you do that, don't get that cane so close to my eye."
	Crystal: 	"..." She adds a monocle to Jupiter's ensemble. Just because it needs completion.
	Jupiter: 	3
	Jupiter: 	there was supposed to be a left arrow next to that
* Cepheus was looking around the room, trying to find some interesting outfit to match Jupiter's style. Ultimately, he decided to go for a butler-esque look, looking like a background character, while Jupiter would be the main show.
	Venec: 	Venec and Lucy kept trading knowing glances as Venec moved around through the clothing and props. A nod here, a head tilt there, it would be confusing for any onlooker but Venec had brought down his mental blocks, allowing him and Lucy to communicate swiftly through thought alone.
	Cepheus: 	He felt weird in this outfit, it felt stuffy. He wasn't used to wearing gloves or long-sleeves...or black.
	Cepheus: 	It could have passed for a tuxedo, really. He took a glance at himself and thought "not bad for now."
* Crystal slips a rose into Cepheus's hand. A fake one, but close enough to pass.
	Crystal: 	"If you have a chest pocket, put it there. If not, your mouth will do."
	Cepheus: 	"I have a chest pocket, thank you. Putting it in my mouth would look raunchy." He slid the rose in and patted it.
	Cepheus: 	(Let's see, the suit, the rose, what else? I don't think I'm missing anything?)
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter was way too excited about this. He was spinning his hat and cane around.
	Crystal: 	"Here's a black and red cape. It should look good alongside your Magnezone's costume. You need to be sure you match!"
* Crystal looks at Lucy and Venec. "If she's going to wear a kimono, you should get something that'd look good alongside it!"
	Cepheus: 	"I've never heard of a butler wearing a cape, though..."
	Crystal: 	"You're a pair of noblemen."
	Cepheus: 	"...If you say so."
	Crystal: 	"Or would you prefer a tray? I think I saw one of those."
	Venec: 	"Planning on it, I've got something layed out over there if you want to look at it." At the table Venec pointed to rested a black, formal samurai's robe.
	Cepheus: 	"... ... ..."
	Cepheus: 	"I think I'll pass on the tray."
* Cepheus took the cape and donned it.
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter was giggling. "Silence, butler! Do as I say!" he whirred. No human would have understood it, though.
	Venec: 	"Well it is a cool contest, go with a butler-assassin." Venec shouted over. "Cane swords, the works!"
* Crystal walks over to the samurai robes once the dispute is over, checking it over to make sure it'll work. "A warrior duo ready to live together and die together..."
	Cepheus: 	"Hmmmmm...."
* Cepheus slipped a small dart into his rose.
	Cepheus: 	"Perfect."
	Crystal: 	"The outfit, the naginata... Ah!" She finds a war-banner, handing it to Venec.
	Venec: 	"Is there anywhere we can find a packet of cherry blossoms or something?" Venec asked as he looked through the shelves of props.
Avara: 	is there a pack of cherry blossoms, kaorin?
Kaorin Sakura: 	Yes. Anything you can think of is available.
* Crystal finds a huge fan and a bunch of cherry blossoms in a bag. "Will this do?"
	Venec: 	Venec grinned, "I don't need the fan. Thanks a ton. I'd split lunch with you if I had more than 10 yen to my name."
	Crystal: 	"Do you two need anything," she asks Cepheus and Jupiter.
	Cepheus: 	"I believe we have all our bases covered, thanks to your assistance. Thank you very much!"
	Crystal: 	"Glad I could help! I have everything I need already. This isn't the kind of contest I'm used to, but it should be fun!"
	Venec: 	Venec exhaled, as he pulled the robe to his shoulders. He was ready for round one. "Are you ready Lucy?" he asked toward the changing curtain.
	Cepheus: 	"Grace...thanks for the help. Wish us luck."
Kaorin Sakura: 	Lucy nodded to Venec, "Ready."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter winked at Grace, then at Crystal. He was ready for this.
* Cepheus straightened Jupiter's hat and cape. He'd been spinning around so much they were a little off.
* Crystal takes a moment while Cepheus, Venec and Lucy are off to try teaching Jupiter a fancy cane-twirling motion.
	Cepheus: 	"If that cane is magnetic, which it looks to be, it should twirl nicely."
	Cepheus: 	"Just do it in such a way as to not send it flying."
	Crystal: 	"It has a metal head, and there might be a rod down the middle."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter tried to grip it in the middle, and with a metal 'thud' it held in place perfectly. Success!
	Crystal: 	"I'll leave planning your parts up to you--you guys know each other better than I do."
	Venec: 	"Alright. Good luck everybody." Venec was sweating a little, trying to calm down. He'd never done anything like this in front of anyone before.
	Crystal: 	(brb, putting dishes away)
* Nurse Joy returns into the dressing rooms and smiles as she sees everyone.
	Nurse Joy: 	"You all look like you're ready! Good, the show's about to start."
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus was still kinda nervous. He wasn't used to thinking up things like this on the spot, but Jupiter was probably well-versed in this sort of thing. He was just wondering how he'd lead.
	Nurse Joy: 	"Alright, let's get all of you backstage."
	Cepheus: 	He gave Grace a quick hug before shooting backstage from the rest. "I'll see you real soon. Wish us luck!"
	Venec: 	"L-lets go, Lucy. You look beautiful." Venec said, bashful in his attire.
	Cepheus: 	*not from, with.
* Nurse Joy ushered everyone from the dressing rooms along the side where hte audience couldn't see that led backstage. There, there were three other Trainers. One with a Kabutops, one with a Flareon and one with a Galvantula. Nurse Joy pointed to a starcase that led up to the stage. The curtains were closed currently and there was a large tram along the sides of the theatre so all the audience could see clearly.
Mike has connected.
	Nurse Joy: 	"When you hear your name called, go up onto the stage and work your magic! There's a seating area in front of the stage for those that already performed! G'luck out there!"
* Nurse Joy ran off after that, seemingly in a hurry to get somewhere.
Kaorin Sakura: 	A few moments later, the voice of an announcer blares throughout the theatre.
	Announcer: 	"Welcome, welcome all you fine people! How is Viridian City this wonderful morning?!"
Kaorin Sakura: 	The sounds of cheering can be heard. It sounds like near a hundred people in the theatre alone, you could only guess how many were watching this on t.v.
	Venec: 	Venec gulped, this was going to take some serious timing.
	Announcer: 	"Well now, you all almost sound as loud as Celadon. Almost."
* Crystal pats Venec and Cepheus on the shoulders, smiling. She whispers, "Good luck. Try and have fun with it."
Kaorin Sakura: 	Thanks to the goading of the announcer, the crowd suddenly cheered almost twice as loud. A Loudred could only hope to be loud enough to even be heard over this Uproar.
* Cepheus quietly nodded and smiled.
	Announcer: 	"That's better! That's better! Today, we start things off with the qualifying rounds for the Super Contests this Saturday down in Pallet where Gary Oak so kindly offered us the space to build an amazing Contest Hall!"
	Venec: 	"What've we gotten into..." He felt a pat on his back and smiled, "Thanks. I will. Best of luck to you too."
	Announcer: 	"Today, we have our three judges: Cornelius, the judge of ALL Contests, hailing from Hoenn with us today. Nurse Joy Maya, coming to us from Saffron and Liana, a great breeder coming from Johto to be with us on this fine, fine day!"
	Announcer: 	"We have with us, two teams of three. The first Team consists of: Lois and her Kabutops! Leandra and her Flareon! And Mark with his Galvantula!"
	Announcer: 	"The second Team consists of White Cepheus and hit Magnezone! Myles Venec and his Human Splice! And Jenny Crystal and her Electrode!"
Kaorin Sakura: 	You hear the crowd gasp audibly and murmer amongst themselves at the mention of a Human Splice in the Contest.
	Cepheus: 	(White's my LAST name...) he mentally hissed.
Avara: 	it's japanese order
	Cepheus: 	I know, but Cepheus still speaks English.
Avara: 	ok
	Announcer: 	"That's right, I said it, a Human Splice. Let's hope she aims to please! And let's not keep the show waiting! Let's the Contests begin!!"
	Announcer: 	"First up! Jenny Crystal!"
	Eli: 	The floor out from the entrance lights up, leading to center stage at a low gleam (Light Screen). The air is filled with crackling electricity, with arcs jumping hither and thither, before a POP! is heard as Eli shrinks, then suddenly expands and launches itself into view of the audience, landing and spinning sideways to the center stage. The electricity seems to coalesce at the entrance, and trails behind Jenny Crystal as she enters view as well, walking with her back straight, shoulders relaxed, and head held high. The voltage plays across her cape, and she spins as well now and then, before coming to a stop with Eli in a pose.
Avara: 	light screen, zapper, shrinkable and rollout.
	Venec: 	Venec watched nerviously. "That doesn't look so bad... we have something like that..." He shifted.
	Announcer: 	"And there you have it folks! Jenny Crystal!"
* Crystal does a curtsey, with Eli rolling forward slightly as if to bow.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The audience cheers and whistles as they see the entrance.
* Crystal and Eli then move back to make room for the others.
	Announcer: 	"Next up, Lois!"
Kaorin Sakura: 	The curtains close as Crystal leaves the stage, giving the other contestant time to get on.
	Venec: 	"That was amazing!" Venec said, walking over. "You really have a flair for this don't you!"
* Kaorin Sakura steps up to the stage with her Kabutops and quickly grasps a large cloth in her hands. The both of them were dressed thin, white sashes with sparkles of blue all over them. They both were wearing a white headband that had a word in blue on it. The Kabutops water and Lois air.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Ack!
DNA: 	HAHAHA
* Lois steps up to the stage with her Kabutops and quickly grasps a large cloth in her hands. The both of them were dressed thin, white sashes with sparkles of blue all over them. They both were wearing a white headband that had a word in blue on it. The Kabutops water and Lois air.
	Lois: 	"You know what to do, Kabutops."
* Lois tosses the cloth in front of her and Kabutops suddenly breaths a beam of ice on it, freezing it in place to conceal them perfectly. He then goes to freeze the stage around them. Just as he finishes, the curtains open.
	Lois: 	* When the curtains open, Kabutops suddenly is enveloped in water and quickly breaks through the ice cloth covering with Lois jumping out behind him and grabbing on of her sashes.
* Crystal smiles to Venec, then motions with her head to watch the opponents.
	Venec: 	Venec was shaken aware turning to the duo on stage.
	Lois: 	* Kabutops rages across the stage, breaking the ice into fine powder as Lois spins descending to the stage, throwing her sash in a spiral and freezing the powder together in one long spiral down to where she lands. Kabutops stops suddenly in front of her and they both pose, a single large spiral icicle with a fine powder downy and a breif rainbow from the water in the air.
* Lois curtseys as Kabutops bows before the two leave the stage.
	Announcer: 	"There we have it folks! Lois and her Kabutops!
Kaorin Sakura: 	The crowds give a big round of applause before the announcer turns back to the stage. The stage was quickly swept clean by a group of Mr.Mime.
	Announcer: 	"Next up! Myles Venec!"
	Venec: 	Venec looked for whoever was in charge of the curtains.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The curtains automatically adjust to a close, giving Venec time to get to the stage.
Kaorin Sakura: 	« 4d4 = 10 »
	Crystal: 	"Do you need help with something?"
	Venec: 	"Yes. I don't need the curtains opened for me."
Kaorin Sakura: 	Continue like you need to.
Kaorin Sakura: 	« 5d4 = 12 »
	Venec: 	"Wait, nevermind. I've got an idea. C'mon Lucy." Venec ran off to the side.
Avara: 	is there a uh... forgot the word. power box in the side room?
* Lucy follwos Venec.
* Lucy follows Venec.
Kaorin Sakura: 	Yes
* Eli rolls over to power supply, trying to draw energy -specifically- from the curtains.
Avara: 	zapper, and able to eat energy.
	Venec: 	"Ready... Lets go."
	Venec: 	Boom...Boom boom. A soundless drum beat. Boom...boom boom. A pulse that echoed through the bodies of all those watching. Boom...boom boom. A sound that was only to be heard by the vibration it left in the heart. Then silence. A thundering crack tore through the air as a blinding light and a drowning pressure flooded the room. The light faded, the pressure waned and two figures stood quietly admist a swirl of blowing sakura blossom. A man stood, short, eyes closed. His brown hair combed straight tied into a ponytail that curled to touch the back of his neck. A martial gi, white. Swordsmans pants, black. And a formal cloak parted in the center. The man stood with a naginata held in both hands, pointing straight up before his face, whose very blade exhaled mist. A woman, tall, eyes closed. Her black-violet hair held in a formal tie. Pink kimono that danced with as many flowers that blew through the stage. She sat on her hip, legs curled to the side with her back to the man, with one hand propping her up. Her distant expression was betrayed by her mew tail, which swayed through the air affectionately toward her partner. Her second hand held an open fan over her mouth. A fan that trickled embers. With another single flash of light the man slammed the shaft to the ground and the woman closed the fan, a trickle of rain and a spark of fire emiting from each. A moment of silence for the last of the cherry blossoms to fall. Both slowly opened their eyes, both eyes burning with determination.
Kaorin Sakura: 	* Electrode feasts on the energy.
	Venec: 	Redoing that

	Announcer: 	"A-And that's Myles Venec folks and the Human Splice! Amazing!"
Kaorin Sakura: 	There was a pause before the audience began cheering.
Kaorin Sakura: 	« 6d4+6 = 12 + 6 = 18 »
	Venec: 	With another Twister born breeze the cherry blossoms rose lightly from the ground as the two slowly took a turn to walk back through the curtains.
Mike is disconnected.
	Crystal: 	"That was incredible! Have you been doing these before?"
	Announcer: 	"Next up! Leandra!"
	Venec: 	As the curtains behind them and Venec reached back to the group he dropped flat to the ground. "I have never been that nervious!"
Kaorin Sakura: 	The curtains open slowly revealing there being no contestant.
Avara is disconnected.

	Venec: 	Venec rolled to his back and smiled weakly up to Lucy. "You were amazing though. That was a lot of hard moves to pull off with such a straight face."
	Leandra: 	* Without much warning, blasts of raging fire hitting the stage, erupting into a twister! Within seconds, a second flaming twister erupts then a third! Suddenly, two flaming balls rage through the the twisters, breaking them into falling cinders and stopping at the third. A sudden bellowing roar blows out the flaming twister and the cinders raise some revealing Leandra in her fiery clothes and Flareon! Both covered in glitter and glowing red wire. As they both go to bow, a sudden flash of heat causes their appearance to look briefly wavy and changes the cinders to shift to falling to the right with the wind.
	Announcer: 	"Leandra and her Flareon folks!"
Avara: 	(aaand back)
Kaorin Sakura: 	The crowd gives a cheer and whistles as the stage and quickly cleaned and the curtains close. Leandra and Flareon descending from the stage
	Announcer: 	"The final member of second Team! White Cepheus!"
	Venec: 	"Good luck. You've got it in you Ceph."
* Cepheus nodded as he and Jupiter took the stage.
DNA: 	As the curtains parted, they revealed the shapes of two quiet, stoic individuals. The first, a man dressed in a black tuxedo, with white gloves and a rose blossom to play the part - the second, a Magnezone, clad in a black fedora, holding a black cane in his right hand, and a monocle set over his left eye.
DNA: 	The two silently but purposefully made their way onto the stage, the man keeping perfect time with his steps and the Magnezone following at his side, never once breaking rank. Only the sound of footfalls and an electric hum filled the stadium as a hush came over the crowd.
DNA: 	When the two reached the center of the stage, they turned to face each other. Each one bowed his head slightly toward his opponent, and then performed an about face. They began moving the same distance apart. The man's footfalls echoed, 1, 2, 3...10 paces apart from his starting point. The Magnezone was the same.
Kaorin Sakura: 	« 3d4 = 7 »
DNA: 	They both slowly turned to face each other, their eyes fully focused on each other. It was all about who would be the first to strike. Suddenly, a bright flash of light illuminated the arena. It lasted only for a second, but when it had cleared, both of them were on the ground - the man with the Magnezone's cane sticking upward out of his body, and the Magnezone felled with a single dart that hit near its center eye.
DNA: 	The silence persisted for a good ten seconds, both the well-dressed man and the Magnezone's bodies just lying there. Then, they suddenly leapt back up again, alive as ever, holding the other's respective weapon. They took a final bow before heading to join the other performers.
DNA: 	(aaaaaaaaand cut)
	Venec: 	"Haha! Theatrical aren't you! That'll leave an impression." Venec laughed as he greeted Cepheus' return with a handshake.
	Cepheus: 	"It's the only thing I could think of on such short notice."
Kaorin Sakura: 	The crowd was silent for a long moment as they watched but cheered once the two rose, clapping in unison.
	Announcer: 	"There we have it folks, Cepheus and his Magnezone!"
	Cepheus: 	(Wonder if Grace saw all that from the crowd.)
	Announcer: 	« 5d4+6 = 9 + 6 = 15 »
	Cepheus: 	"Thanks, Venec," he returned the handshake.
	Venec: 	"Well we just stood there as boldly as we could. You actually acted."
	Crystal: 	"You all are pretty good at making a scene! I think we've done a good job demonstrating our talents." She claps for both duos.
	Announcer: 	"Lastly, Mark and his Galvantula!"
	Venec: 	It;s round two I'm worried about.
	Venec: 	"It;s round two I'm worried about."
	Cepheus: 	"I think we're all worried about each round in our own little way, but let's make the most of it, shall we?"
	Crystal: 	"With a beautiful partner like yours? You might end up taking the lead. Don't sell yourself short."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter swapped the dart back for the cane again. He really wanted to keep this whole outfit but he probably wouldn't be allowed.
	Jupiter: 	At least he had his hat 3
	Jupiter: 	...again, there should be a left arrow in front of the three.
	Mark: 	* The curtains slowly opened revealing a single ball on the center stage.
Avara: 	maptool doesn't do those arrows
	Mark: 	* The ball suddenly begins spewing out white smoke up, east and west.
	Venec: 	Venec laughed, "Yeah. The most we have to lose is having to stick around to do it for the one we would have qualified for." His laugher stopped as he turned to see the stage starting.
	Mark: 	* The smoke revealing that there's threads lined up all along the stage and suddeny the form of a spider glows bright for a brief moment and the webs crackle with blue electricity.
	Venec: 	Venec flinched. Bad memories.
	Mark: 	* The two continue to crackle and glow simultaneously as three still dolls slowly descend from the ceiling
	Mark: 	* Without warning web appears around one of the dolls, sparks and the doll breaks, pulling in all the pieces.
	Mark: 	* Then, the same happens to the third doll.
	Mark: 	* Finally, the web wraps around the second doll and rips it, but emerging from it with a loud "Oohhhhhhh!!!" comes flying a man covered in a Tamers outfit. He lands on the ground and poses dramatically, his hands outstretched and suddenly yells, "We love you!"
	Mark: 	* Just then, the smoke clears and the pieces that were shattered from the dolls glow bright with electricity spelling out, "Our love for you!" in the web.
Kaorin Sakura: 	The audience stares for a moment before laughing to tears and clapping.
	Announcer: 	"And Mark, with an unconventional performance! Alright, judges, let's see your scores!"
	Venec: 	Venec clapped as well, laughing.
	Announcer: 	« 4d4 = 10 »

	Crystal: 	"Don't underestimate my preparation skills--and besides, you guys gave it your all and gave the crowd intense shows. Their introductions lacked the same punch."
	Venec: 	Venec greeted the same.
	Announcer: 	And now for the Appeal Round! Contestants! Take to the stage please!"
	Jupiter: 	He then went to Crystal with the same gesture.
	Venec: 	"Well... lets see what we can do..."
	Cepheus: 	"Yep. Time to go."
	Venec: 	Venec nodded to Lucy, feeling more confident now. Then he walked to the stage.
	Announcer: 	"Alright, we'll refresh the audience here today."
	Announcer: 	"This is the qualifications for the Saturday Super Contest! That means this is broadcasted worldwide!"
* Crystal fistbumps Jupiter energetically.
	Cepheus: 	"...They're broadcasting this worldwide? Oh my..."
	Jupiter: 	(Yeah!) Jupiter let off an enthusiastic shower of sparks.
	Cepheus: 	"Not yet, my friend. Save that for the stage," he said with a smile.
	Announcer: 	"Todays Contest is to see how these Trainers can show us what's cool while remaining beautiful. A difficult combination!"
	Crystal: 	"If we win today we qualify for an even bigger contest in the future."
	Announcer: 	"We're not interested in tough acts, cutesy performances or anyone showing off their smarts."
	Announcer: 	"We have our three judges today and for the appeal round, we want to see what you have for our judges, show them what we're here to see!"
	Venec: 	Venec looked to see how Lucy was enjoying this. He'd never seen her in this sort of situation before
* Jupiter taps with the paper clip.
Kaorin Sakura: 	* Lucy looked the same as usual, if not oddly bouncy. Her tail was whipping around in excitement though.
	Cepheus: 	"...your body is ready? What?" Cepheus looked bewildered.

	Eli: 	(Let me give you some lessons some time, floater. It's hard to stay connected to the lightning when you're not grounded.)
* Jupiter eyed the cane prop jealously.
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus nodded and accepted the prizes. "Thank you very much."
	Crystal: 	"You all were amazing!" She smiles, looking at the judges. "Thanks for letting us entertain you today."
	Venec: 	Venec nodded in agreement, his head light from the excitement.
	Nurse Joy: 	"Crystal, you've once again shown us what talent you and your Electrode possess. As such, here is the Normal Rank Beauty & Cool Ribbon." Nurse Joy places the Ribbon on Eli and hands Crystal a Ruby Necklace (+2 Appeal).
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus scanned the crowd to see if he could see any familiar faces. It was so big and there was so many people, he couldn't pick up on anyone who looked familiar to him.
	Cornelius: 	"Venec, I noticed a tremendous amount of potential in you and your Human Splice. I admit, I was cautious of how this would end but I was entertained greatly today. Here is the Normal Rank Beauty & Cool Ribbon." Cornelius places the Ribbon on Lucy's Kimono and hands Venec Steel Cutless (+1 Appeal and Steel Damage)
	Venec: 	"Thank you very much!
	Venec: 	Venec beamed.
	Announcer: 	"You have it folks, this team can now attend the Super Contests this Saturday in Pallet! Do you guys have a name for yourselves?!"
	Venec: 	"We are three of the members of Team Oak!"
	Announcer: 	"Team Oak?! Now that's a name that comes with pride!! Team Oak everyone! Give them a wave of applause here!"
	Crystal: 	"Thank you very much, Ms. Joy. We're Team Oak, and we do need to start exploring. Pallet sounds like a great next destination, doesn't it?"
Kaorin Sakura: 	With that, the crowd stands from their seats, washing you all in whistles and clapping! The theatres seems to vibrate from the sheer passion of it all.
	Venec: 	Venec takes a step forward and bows to the crowd, throwing his hands in the air to the applause. He glances back to Lucy, nodding for her to come forward too.
* Lucy follows suit and bows with him.
* Crystal steps forward with Eli, doing as elegant a curtsey as she can while Eli spins and bows.
	Cepheus: 	Cepheus turned around to Jupiter, almost trying to block out the sound of the crowd in his ears. "You did nicely today. You tried your best, and I'm proud of you."
	Jupiter: 	Jupiter sighed. (Yeah...I guess so...)
Kaorin Sakura: 	And thus the first experience Team Oak had with Contests!
