*IMPORTANT:* If you are having difficulty hearing "Christine Nixon" say "carS" @ 1m:23s of the original radio interview (the one @ 0:45 of this video) then either *wear headphones* or more simply *turn the volume right up*. There may be some additional difficulties for those who are not familiar with Australian accents - but you will hear the "S" sound *at the end of the word*. It is not as clear as when she first said it so you will need to make an effort if you don't catch it the first time. It's possible that "3AW" tweaked the audio to soften the "S" sound - but it is not necessary to accuse them of that since "carS" can be heard if you wear headphones, turn up the volume *and listen carefully*.
