  1. Full Moon
  2.
  3. My bands of silk and miniver
  4. Momently grew heavier;
  5. The black gauze was beggarly thin;
  6. The ermine muffled mouth and chin;
  7. I could not suck the moonlight in.
  8.
  9. Harlequin in lozenges
  10. Of love and hate, I walked in these
  11. Striped and ragged rigmaroles;
  12. Along the pavement my footsoles
  13. Trod warily on living coals.
  14.
  15. Shouldering the thoughts I loathed,
  16. In their corrupt disguises clothed,
  17. Morality I could not tear
  18. From my ribs, to leave them bare
  19. Ivory in silver air.
  20.
  21. There I walked, and there I raged;
  22. The spiritual savage caged
  23. Within my skeleton, raged afresh
  24. To feel, behind a carnal mesh,
  25. The clean bones crying in the flesh.
