- In order to assure continuous improvements, the FTO Team will dedicated it's time and resources to assure weekly training programs. The courses will be target to a certain demographic (Rank(s)). After the Training, the candidates will be evaluated. There will be Board of Honors inside the LSPD's private forum for those who earn themselves those honorary grades.
- Let's illustrate with an example:
- Training one - public version.
- This training course is targeted to Cadets, Officers, and Senior Officers.
- Goal: Familiarize yourself with 10-26 and 10-26a procedures
- End date: dd/mm/yyyy.
- Authorized personnel. Lt Blackburn, Sgt Thomas, Ofc. Martiniz.
- Course FC026.1 - internal version
- Get an even number officers inside cruisers and two Sultans (or HSIU vehicles, if T.E. members are take part in the operation.) Take officers to Las Venturas high way intersection. Line them up and proceed to a demonstration of a typical 10-26.
- Separate officers into two groups, Pursuants and Suspects.
- In example of a 10-26, suspects will stop their vehicles (Without having to drive to the other side of the state)
- The pusuant is to update his 20 and his actions on Teamspeak
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to demonstrate safe driving (Stay on lane, no collision, sirens)
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to roleplay the situation
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to detain the suspect
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to read miranda rights, right after detainment
- The suspects have to collaborate in roleplay manners (No gangster behaviour will be tolarated)
- In example of a 10-26a, place 3 pursuants and an FTO Trainer and 4 suspects inside two separate vehicles.
- The driver of the suspect's car is to drive away when pulled by the police
- The driver is to not damage the vehicle (No exploding)
- The driver is to stay on main highways, preferably in a predermined route
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to update his status on Teamspeak
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to attempt a 10-62
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to demonstrate safe driving (Stay on lane, no collision, sirens)
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to roleplay the situation
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to detain the suspect
- The driver of the Pursuants vehicle is to read miranda rights, right after detainment
- Alternate between drivers, THEN alternate the teams.
- Duration: 30-45 minutes.
- Examination:
- Roleplay XX/40
- Communication XX/40
- Manoeuvring XX/20
- Passation with honors: 95+
- Exceeding standards: 80+
- Passable: 60+
- Failed: 60-
- ROLEPLAY:
- Metagaming (getting Name/Licenses/Registration/MDC information without IC knowledge) -20 pts per offence
- Power gaming (Car jacking, asspulling, detaining without RP, non RP frisk) -20 pts per offence
- COMMUNICATION:
- Failure to update on TeamSpeak/Megaphone: -10 pts
- Failure to update Central (/r): -5 pts
- Failure to read miranda rights: -10 pts
- Failure to provide an explantion on why the suspect is pulled over: -5 points
- Foul language/Poor english: -10 pts
- MANOEUVRING:
- Collision - except with suspect in case of a 10-62: -5 pts
- Non RP driving/ Public endagerment: -10 pts
- Not using the sirens: -5 pts
- Settings
- Recommanded personel:
- FTO Trainers: 1 or 2
- Trainees: 4 to 12 if one trainer. 8 to 16 if two.
- Recommanded vehicles
- 2 to 6 LSPD Cruisers
- 1 or 2 LSPD Sultans
- 1 or 2 HSIU Vehicles IF T.E. Members are taking part in the training.
