  1. My microphone has always acted weird, broadcasting sound from my headset through my mic ONLY if its muted. Today my microphone stopped working, but its still broadcasting *something*, and i dont know what.

  5. so, im using a pair of V-moda crossfade headphones with their boompro mic. its a single cable that connects to the headset that holds both the imput and output, which splits off at the end to go into the mic and audio jacks on the back of my computer.

  7. I guess i am using realtek HD audio manager. i am on windows 10.
  8.
  9. my mic has a built in mute button on the cable - press it and it mutes the mic. but whats weird is that instead of just having ZERO noise come through the cable, it seems like my mic would broadcast whatever audio was being played by my computer. its NOT that i had speakers and it was just picking that up. frequently my friends could perfectly hear what was happening on my screen. this happened while my mic was on (people could hear my stuff even when you cant hear it when you take the headphones off) but it also happens when i muted my mic.

  11. this has usually only been a minor inconvenience but today my mic stopped working. however, its still broadcasting something when i have it plugged in. steam and windows tell me that its picking up something, but im not sure what causes it.
