"My character will resent yours" isn't something I'd have a problem with at all outside of the artificial nature of how I see it having arisen.

[23:38] <castfromhp> It was the same for Aria. I don't actually oppose the idea of "there is someone in the 'PC party' who is actively working against them" so long as things are set up so that there are private sheets and the like.

[23:38] <castfromhp> It was that I didn't like that Mons went out of his way to give Aria immunity to investigation. THAT was the immersion killer. It made everything feel very heavy-handed.
[23:40] <castfromhp> I'd have accepted that actually if it were clear he weren't a PC, even if that only became clear after the fact.
[23:41] <castfromhp> Him being a totally normal PC and not a specific pseudo-GM or something was what made the immunity aggravating.
