  1. Luna’s Sad Party
  2.
  3. She was calling it “Luna’s Belated Cuteceñeara Party.” The tradition had originated during the course of the 1,000 years she had spent on the moon, so Luna had never had one before. She had trouble readjusting to her new life since her return, so she thought she would just throw a little party. It would just be her, her big sister, and those nice ponies who had saved her from Nightmare Moon. Plus their guests. All of the friends that she used to have in her old life were... gone.
  4. The party started at 4:00. Luna was sitting down at the table feeling relieved. She didn’t want any of the servants to do the work for her, so she had done all the work herself, including cooking, baking, and decorating. She had been setting up since the day before, and she had spent all that time worried that she wouldn’t get done in time. She had just made it, so that made her happy.
  5. At half past the hour, nobody had showed up yet. That must mean they were all trying to be fashionably late. Luna was happy she had such cool friends.
  6. At six, she started getting really nervous. She started pacing nervously.
  7. By seven, she came to the conclusion that nobody was going to be coming. The party would probably be over by now anyway. Luna broke down and cried.
  8. By eight, Luna found herself sitting in a dark corner of the dark room. She had another one of her... fits. Over a thousand years of loneliness and frustration had come out at once. The food was ruined. The decorations were torn. The actual heavy table had been overturned. She could hardly remember even doing that. She realized that she didn’t even deserve to have any friends. She was glad that nobody came.
  9.
  10. “Who goes there?” the guard demanded to know.
  11. “Uh, sorry. My name’s Big McIntosh? I’m here for a party? I have an invitation.” He reached into his saddlebag and pulled it out.
  12. The guard looked at it skeptically. “This invitation is for a one: Applejack, plus guest,” he read.
  13. “I’m guest,” Big Mac said with it still between his teeth. The guard took it from him. “Applejack’s my sister. She left hours ago.”
  14. “Right,” the guard said. “That’s the problem. According to this, the party was at 4:00. It’s now a quarter past eight. I can’t let you in at this hour. I’ll have to ask you to leave.”
  15. “But... I got delayed,” he tried to explain. “It’s lambing season, and one of the ewe’s was havin’ trouble. And then that got taken care of. But what with the bruscellosis scare going around, we had to have the vet come over and check the cattle. None of them had it, thank Celestia. I saw what they had to do at the Tops’s farm. Anyways. I got here just as soon as I could. Missed the flight so I had to run most of the way.”
  16. “Sir,” said the guard, “is there going to be trouble?”
  17. Big McIntosh’s mouth dropped open. He hadn’t expected any of this. “Uh, no, sir,” he said. He took a step back, turned around, and walked away. He got ten paces when he stopped. He turned around again and went back to the guards.
  18. “Listen,” he said straight into the face of the guard he had just talked to. “This here invitation. Can you see it? It says four o’clock, right? Well, it says four until whenever. Well? It’s whenever. So you’re going to let me see the princess.” The guard’s brow furrowed. Big McIntosh took a deep breath. “You have to let me see the princess. At least to apologize for missing her fancy party. And to drop off my gift. Now I don’t want any trouble. But what do you think’s going to happen if you don’t let me through?”
  19. The palace guards were mostly a ceremonial position. Both of the princesses were far more powerful than their whole force. There was nothing that they could take care of that the princesses couldn’t handle themselves. Still, they had their uses. Crowd control, for example. To the typical pony, the guards were enormous and intimidating, particularly in their armor. Two abreast could clear a street, simply by marching down in.
  20. There were two guards here now. But Big McIntosh towered over the both of them. If he was intimidated, he didn’t show it.
  21. “Sir,” the guard swallowed. “I’ll take your invitation to my Sergeant-at-arms. Remain here.”
  22. The guard left through the door, leaving Big Mac with the other guard. The other guard was silent. In fact, Big McIntosh came to realize, this guard hadn’t said a thing during the previous exchange. He hadn’t even stirred. It sort of made Big McIntosh uncomfortable. He shuffled his hooves for a bit.
  23. “My tie on straight?” he asked the guard. Big Mac had exchanged his usual horse collar for a dress collar and tie. He didn’t wear one usually, and the ladies in his life knew nothing at all about tying them.
  24. The guard didn’t respond. He didn’t even twitch. He just kept staring straight ahead. Big Mac didn’t even see him blinking. He must be one of those special guards, Big Mac thought; the kind that aren’t supposed to respond to you, even if you made funny faces at them.
  25. Big Mac sighed. There was a long awkward pause. Big Mac shuffled his hooves again. The guard glanced over for just a split second, and then returned his gaze to the original position.
  26. “It’s, uh,” the guard mumbled. “It’s a little crooked.”
  27. “Huh?” Big Mac looked down.
  28. “Here,” the guard said. He reached over and straightened Big Mac’s tie for him. Then he resumed his original position. “You look sharp, man,” he said.
  29. “Uh, thanks,” Big Mac said.
  30. The door opened and the first guard came through. “Follow me, sir,” the guard said. Big Mac followed him through the door. He glanced at the nice guard, but he didn’t move a muscle. Big Mac was led down a series of hallways and out into the garden. “You’ll find the party in the pavilion in the center of the garden. You’ll return in this direction. I will escort you on your way out.” The guard stood at attention.
  31. I should probably give the guy a tip, Big Mac thought to himself. He reached into his bag and pulled out a bit. The guard didn’t take it. So Big Mac stuck it under his breast plate and went to find the pavilion.
  32. His heart sank when he saw that the lights were out. He must have missed the party. Big McIntosh knocked on the door anyway. Nobody came, so he started to leave. He was just turning around when the door opened. Luna was there, half in the shadows. She was looking down at his hooves, but she slowly craned her neck up to look in his eyes.
  33. “Uh...,” said Big Mac. “Boy, I was worried I missed your party. Looks like maybe I did. Well, uh, I just wanted to let you know that I didn’t forget it. And, um, I didn’t just brush it off or nothing. It’s just there were a bunch of emergencies back on the farm... and... uh...” Luna’s eyes were starting to well up with tears. “And I wanted to at least, um, let you know I was sorry for being late.”
  34. Luna broke down completely. She planted her face face into Big Mac’s chest and sobbed. “There was a... lambing... problem,” Big Mac continued, surprised. “And... brucell...,” he stopped. Big Mac was a little slow out of the starting gate, but he wasn’t dumb. He let her cry. He put his leg around her shoulder and pulled her close. It took some time for her to stop, but he didn’t care. He let her get it out of her system on her own.
  35. Many minutes later she finally finished, then stepped away from him. “I’m sorry,” she sniffed.
  36. “Don’t need to apologize to me,” he said. “You didn’t do nothing.”
  37. “You’re the only one who came.”
  38. “What? You mean to the party?” he asked. “But my sister was supposed to be here hours ago.”
  39. “No, you’re the only one who’s shown up,” she said. “I’m sorry. I’m such a mess. I shouldn’t be acting like this. You must think I’m nuts.”
  40. “No, no,” Big Mac tried to comfort her. “If I threw a party and nobody came, I’d be upset too. I can sympathize. How about we go back inside.” Big Mac lead the way back into the pavilion.
  41. “Um...,” Luna tried to say.
  42. Big McIntosh flipped the light switch. He saw the upturned table. He saw the food scattered about the floor. Luna wanted to dig a hole and bury herself in it.
  43. “Oh, god. I’m sorry,” she said again. “This is such an embarrassment. You must think I’m completely crazy.”
  44. Big Mac took a long time to look around the room again. “Nope,” he said. “You did the right thing.”
  45. “Excuse me?” she asked.”
  46. “When you cry,” he explained. “You’ve got to let it all out. No sense in holding it back. You got to cry till it hurts. Until your cheeks are tired. Until your nose is stuffy. Until your throat burns. It’s not until you can get it all out of your system that you can start smiling again. Then you can laugh about it.”
  47. “Like you know anything about crying,” she said. He looked at her with his big eyes. “Oh, I’m sorry. That came out really snide. I didn’t mean it like that. It’s just... you’re such a big, strong stallion. I can’t imagine you ever crying.”
  48. He took a big deep breath and surveyed the damage again. “There’s a tree...”
  49. “Come again?”
  50. “There’s a tree. Out on the farm. It’s a big old chestnut. In the woods back behind the barn. It was probably big when my Granny was a foal. Anyways. Starting back around the time I got my cutie mark, you know how you’re just sort of mad at the world around that age? Well, I’d just go back out there and kick the tree. Hard as I could, I’d just kick it. I’d get out all my frustration n’ angst n’ whatever. So that’s what you’ve got to do sometimes, let it all out. ‘Scuse me, Miss.”
  51. Big McIntosh grabbed the edge of the upturned table with his teeth and, with very little effort at all, got it on all four feet again.
  52. “You can call me Luna,” Luna said. “And you’re very sweet.”
  53. Big McIntosh blushed. “Speaking of sweet, how about some cake?”
  54. “Wait. What? No. It’s ruined. It’s all over the floor.”
  55. “Ah, but it’s a layer cake,” Big Mac said as he used his hoof to peel off the ruined top layer of a three layer cake. “That’s the beauty of it. The middle layer hasn’t touched the floor. Look.” Big Mac took a chunk of the middle layer and popped it in his mouth. Luna covered her mouth with her hoof. She didn’t know if she was supposed to be appalled or burst out laughing. “Mmm,” said Big Mac. “This raspberry frosting?”
  56. “Between the layers, yes,” Luna said. “The outside is cream cheese frosting.”
  57. “It’s delicious. Oh, and look. Club sandwiches. Again with the layers. Your chefs must by psychic.” Big Mac took off the bottom layer.
  58. “Oh, please,” Luna said. “You don’t have to eat...”
  59. “I haven’t eaten all day.” Big Mac bit into it. “Mmm,” he said with his mouth full. “That’s apple wood smoked bacon. I can tell. You must have the best chefs in Equestria.”
  60. Luna smiled. Then she laughed. “You’re right. I guess I did have to get it out of my system.”
  61. “That’s the spirit,” Big Mac said. “Oh, hey, I got you something.” He reached into his saddlebag.
  62. “What? A gift?” Luna asked. “Oh, no. Big McIntosh, you shouldn’t have.”
  63. Big Mac set it down on the table. It was carefully wrapped and had a large bow. “Can’t have party without presents,” he said. “Go ahead. Open it.”
  64. She looked up at him, down at the present, and then up at him again. He nodded in support. Luna started to feel her eyes water again. She pulled the bow undone. Then carefully unwrapped it and opened the box.
  65. “It’s... a horse collar?” she was surprised.
  66. “Eyup,” he said. “Well, a decorative one, of course. Ceremonial, or whatever. It’s too fragile to do any work with. You see, I was thinking about what on earth a humble earth pony such as myself could get an alicorn princess who has everything. And I started thinking about how earth ponies are real salt of the earth types. We don’t got fancy magic or make the weather or anything. But we plow the fields, and that’s special in it’s own way. So I figured if you saw this here horse collar hanging on your wall or something, then maybe you wouldn’t forget about us in all your fancy royal duties and whatnot.”
  67. “It’s wonderful,” she gasped. “It must have cost you a fortune.”
  68. “Ahhh... nope. Carved it myself. Didn’t cost a bit.”
  69. “Carved? Wait, is this a single piece of wood?”
  70. “Eyup. I can see how you think it wasn’t. I made it look like two inter-twined grape vines on purpose. Tendrils were a bit tricky. Actually had one of them break off. But I covered it up and fixed it, so you can’t even tell it had been there.”
  71. “I think it’s just about the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”
  72. “Except for every time you look in the mirror,” he said.
  73. Luna reached up and kissed him on the cheek. He blushed deeply. “What kind of wood is this?” she asked, still marveling at the gift.
  74. “It’s, uh... chestnut,” he answered.
  75. She looked up at him again, her eyes asking him a question she didn’t need to say out loud. “Eyup,” he said. “That chestnut. Came down last winter in a wind. Didn’t take that long for me to kill it. The wind wasn’t even that strong; it just sort of fell over. Well, I felt pretty guilty for taking a life over my own selfish problems, even if it was just a tree’s life. So I decided to turn my problems into something good. You know. Constructive. It felt right. I did a few other pieces. A sign on the chicken coop... a bowl... a...”
  76. Luna reached up and kissed him. Not on the cheek, but on the lips. Big McIntosh was surprised, but not as surprised as he had been when she had first opened the door. They both exhaled through their noses. All of their tensions from their day fell away. Luna broke the kiss.
  77. “Mi... Luna?” Big McIntosh said. “I think you’re awful pretty and all. But I don’t want to take advantage of a filly in distress.”
  78. “Big McIntosh,” Luna said. “I’m not in distress. Not anymore. And you can’t take advantage of me. I’m a princess. And I’m a lot older than I might look.” She looked around at the room. “Or act sometimes. Big McIntosh? I’d like a chance to turn my... own selfish problems into something good. It feels right.”
  79. Big Mac said nothing. He waited. Luna reached up and kissed him again. Big Mac reached up and back with his hind leg, and flicked off the light switch with his hoof, plunging the room into darkness. As one switch was turned off, it was as if another was turned on. They both reared up on their hind legs and wrapped their front legs around each other. Instead of bending over to reach her, Big Mac simply lifted Luna up off the ground. It was as if she weighed nothing to him. She forced her tongue into his mouth. She wanted his in return. It had been so long since she had felt loved. Not just by her sister, but really, truly, deeply loved like this. Luna wrapped her hind legs around his waist. He grabbed her butt and squeezed, holding her up by it.
  80. Eventually, he sat her rump down on the edge of the table; they hadn’t broken their kiss. Big Mac rubbed his hooves up and down her back. Luna felt the powerful muscles of Big Mac’s shoulders and flanks. She reached up and undid his tie and collar. She threw them onto the table. He carefully removed her crown and set in the box with her new horse collar. They still hadn’t broken their kiss.
  81. Big Mac was growing erect. It was sliding in between their two bodies. Luna couldn’t help but feel it. She didn’t say anything about it. It only got her more excited. Her own wings were stretching far back behind her, growing erect themselves.
  82. Finally, they broke the kiss. Each nibbled on each other’s neck. Luna tried to push Big Mac away so that she could slide off the table. She wanted to take him in her mouth. He didn’t budge. He was like a big stone statue, only warm and loving. Instead, he slowly lowered her backwards onto the table. He started working his way down her body, planting kisses. She held his head between her hooves as he descended. She wanted him to hurry up. She wanted him to go faster. She hadn’t realized that she could ever want anything so much as she wanted him right now. Still, she let him tease her.
  83. Big McIntosh got down between her legs. He touched the tip of his tongue to her wet, erect clit. Her whole body shook, as if hit by electricity. She clenched her thighs around his head, tight as a vise. If he didn’t like it, he showed no sign. He didn’t stop servicing her. He tickled her clit with his tongue. He sucked it into his mouth and bit down on it gently. She was surprised at how gentle he was for being such a massive stallion. He slid his tongue deep inside of her. His tongue was long, thick, and powerful, like the rest of the muscles in his body.
  84. Luna laid her front legs down on the table for support and heaved her hips up towards his face. She wanted to drive his tongue deeper inside herself. She spread her thighs wide to give him more room, then wrapped her calves around his head. She started squeezing her legs in a rhythmic motion, moving his whole head back and forth, sliding his tongue in and out of her.
  85. Big McIntosh broke it. He had to come up for air. He started kissing his way back up her body. “I want you inside of me,” she said. She wanted his tongue back inside her, but then she realized what was coming. He had been so good, somehow she had almost forgotten about his erection. She reached down beneath his hard body and found the head of his cock. She guided it the rest of the way up to her pussy. “I want you inside of me,” she repeated.
  86. Big Mac pushed. It started to slide in. The both of them gasped. The sexual tension between them hadn’t existed for long, but it was powerful. Big Mac kept pushing. Luna felt... stretched. It didn’t exactly hurt, but Big Mac was huge. He slid it all of the way in. Luna felt filled up. She hadn’t felt like this in a 1,000 years. Or in any of the years prior to that. Big McIntosh started pumping it in and out. To Luna, it wasn’t as electric as the cunnilingus had been. But if felt far more satisfying.
  87. Big Mac was in heaven. She felt so wet and soft. She had her legs wrapped around him just the way he liked it. She was responding to every single thrust, either through a gasp or a soft sigh or a squeeze of her legs.
  88. Big Mac started off gently. He stroked slowly, and kept it mostly deep inside. Each time he withdrew a little bit more. Big Mac’s body was huge. He towered over Luna, even though she was taller than most ponies herself. She had a view of his chiseled red chest. She ran her hooves over his hard muscles but she couldn’t concentrate, the feeling below was too intense. After many minutes, Big Mac was nearly withdrawing his cock at each stroke. Only the head remained inside. Since Big Mac was so well hung, he needed quite long strokes.
  89. Big McIntosh slowly started to increase the speed of his thrusts. He had been teasing Luna with his slow pace, but now he couldn’t handle it anymore himself. She seemed to feel the same way. She started to squeal as he went faster and faster. She was squirming below him. Luna’s ass was hanging over the edge of the table. His balls were swinging up and striking it.
  90. “Fuck me, Big McIntosh,” she squealed.
  91. Big Mac started fucking her, hard. She screamed in delight; she liked taking it. The table started to shake. Then started scooting backwards until it edged up against the wall. Big Mac was giving it to her with everything he could offer. Luna’s wings were flat against the table, but stretched out as far as they could go. Each of her primary feathers were spread and pointing in a different direction. Luna screamed again. Big Mac bent his head down, placing his chin to his chest. They could see each other in the eyes now. Luna’s eyes were wild. Her lips were pulled back and her teeth were bared in excitement and concentration. Big Mac hammered his cock into her one more time. Luna screamed one more time. Luna came.
  92. Big Mac went back to work with the slow and deep stroking again. He kept it up as Luna slowly came down from her orgasm. Her body was twitching. He could feel her buttocks flexing. The little muscles inside of her were twitching around his still rock hard dick.
  93. Eventually, her body relaxed completely and he got off of her. His cock fell out and he stepped backwards several paces. Luna sat up. She could still see his cock swinging beneath him in the moonlight coming through the windows. She hopped off the table, turned around, and put her front hooves back up on it.
  94. “Again,” she whispered.
  95. “Again?” he asked.
  96. “Again,” she repeated, lifting her long tail up and out of the way. He approached her. “Wait a second,” she said, “I want to wear this.” She reached over and slid the gift box closer to herself. She used her snout and nuzzled her way up and under the horse collar. It slid down her neck perfectly. She was more proud of it then her own crown. “OK,” she said.
  97. Big Mac mounted her. He drove his dick back inside of her. She gasped at the size of it again, despite having it in her just seconds previously. She craned her face up to his. “You can finish,” she whispered, “inside of me.” Big McIntosh couldn’t control himself after that. He pounded into her. He had to place most of his weight onto the table because she couldn’t take all of him. He loved the sensation of her little, round ass against his hips. They were firm, but they still gave way to him each time he hammered into her. He closed his eyes and really concentrated on feeling her pussy as it stretched tight around his shaft. She was sopping wet. A little streamer of fluid was coming out of her and pooled on the floor. Big Mac craned his head back and neighed in a sexual fury. Luna screamed as well. She wasn’t close to having a second orgasm, but she was still in ecstasy. When Big Mac moved his head back down, she reached up and gently bit at his cheek.
  98. Big Mac gave everything he had into hammering into her. He almost lost complete control of his body, except for the thrusting. His hips and his cock had taken over him. His balls felt ready to explode. He slammed it in just a few more times, all the way out, and then all the way back in. All of the flesh on Luna’s body jiggled with each impact. Her wings were stretched way up around him. Big Mac slammed it into her one more time, and then he came.
  99. Luna could feel it. She could feel his hot cum streaming into her. And then she could feel it pouring out of her and down her legs. It was a massive load. Still, he didn’t withdraw his penis. He left it in. The both just stood there against the table. Each tried to catch their breaths, gasping for air. Neither one wanted the other to move a muscle.
  100. For long minutes they stayed there like that, joined together. Eventually his cock grew soft, and smaller. Gravity finally caused his cock to come swinging out of her. A gush of semen spilled out onto the floor between Luna’s hind hooves.
  101. Big McIntosh got off of her. He took a few awkward steps backwards. His powerful muscles were almost like jelly; he had exerted himself so much. He slumped down onto the floor, exhausted. Luna took off her fragile horse collar and put it back in the box. She got off the table and joined him. Neither said a word for a long time.
  102. Some time later in the night, they ended up lying on the pavilion floor together side by side. Big Mac was spooning Luna. They only cuddled. Once more, Luna could feel Big Mac growing erect. The head of his cock was sliding up her back and getting harder every second. Big Mac silently slid his hooves between her legs and started to play with her clit.
  103. Luna smiled. Her new lover seemed so intent on pleasing her instead of himself. She wouldn’t have it this time. She pushed his leg out of the way, and rolled him over onto his back. His massive erection stood almost straight up in the air. She took him into her mouth and started to fellate him.
  104. She couldn’t take the whole think in, although she tried. She cupped his balls with a free hoof and fondled them as she worked her mouth up and down his shaft. She popped the dick out of her mouth and started licking all the way up and down the sides of it. Big Mac moaned in pleasure. He started to cum again, almost immediately. She sucked back onto his head, and let him come inside her mouth. It was another big load. She lost some of it, dribbling back down his shaft. But she held onto as much as she could. She swallowed when she saw him watching. Then he laid his head back onto the floor and rolled his head back up into his eyes. She smiled.
  105. A few minutes later they were back up on their hooves. They knew it was time to depart, although neither of them wanted to.
  106. “Do you really have to go?” she asked. “I’m the princess, after all. You can stay here in the castle. You can stay in the guest rooms. I’ll have them clear out a room if their isn’t one available.”
  107. “Wish I could Mi... uh, Luna. It sounds real fantastic. But I can’t. There’s a farm I’ve got to take of. There’s also a little sister I need to lecture. But mostly there’s a farm I need to take care of. Animals need feeding and watering. They don’t care for the whims of a beautiful alicorn princess or her lowly earth pony beau. Wish they did. That would be better.”
  108. “I... understand.”
  109. “I’ll be back though.”
  110. “You will?”
  111. “Eyup. Better write me an invite though, them guards mean business. Oh, and you should pay a courtly visit to Sweet Apple Acres some time, if it suits you, your majesty.” He grinned.
  112. “I will,” she promised, “I will.”
  113. They kissed goodbye. He turned around. “Oh,” he said as he started walking away. “Be sure to smile more often. You’re even prettier when you smile.”
  114. They waved good bye, and he disappeared into the night. Luna closed the door and turned around in the dark room. She walked back over to the table and put her new horse collar back on. She forgot about her crown. She went back and sat in the same corner where she had cried her heart out a few hours earlier.
  115. She looked around the room. It was much the same as it had been before. The table was upright, but the decorations were a mess. And food was all over the floor.
  116. This time, Luna smiled.
