Crawl out from under the back of the tent when you can, then break into another tent to steal some different clothes/a weapon/money/supplies/walking stick/alcohol(for the pain). Make sure to get an axe if possible, and a hat/shawl/rag to hide your ears and hair. Then play the crippled soldier (walking stick helps), and simply walk off down the road seemingly dismissed from service.
