  1. Apollo CSGO General Guide
  2.
  3. Hey guys, we have been playing together for awhile, but it’s time to get serious. So we are making a complete guide for our team and everyone’s roles.
  4. Overview
  5. Section I: What is Apollo?
  6. Section II: Rules and Conduct
  7. Section III: Roster
  8. Section IV: Roles
  9. Section V: Goals and Looking Forward
  10.
  11. Section I: What is Apollo?
  12. Apollo first and foremost is a team. We have each other’s backs, are supportive of each other, and strive to work together and play better. In our current lineup for CS:GO, we are an ameature team looking for both success and knowledge in our journey through the ladders. We’re no different than a football in terms of attitude. We’re a “family” and need to treat each other that way. No taking gameplay into our friendships.
  13.
  14. Section II: Rules and Conduct
  15. By now, you guys should know how we operate our practices and games. They don’t always go as planned, but it’s our goal to complete them in an efficient manner. Joking around every now and again and is okay, but trolling, team damage, mic spamming, soundboards, or anything related to this is unacceptable. If you don’t comply, Jackson and Jordan will no longer deal with it, and we will find a replacement for you ASAP. Just keep in mind that we are all trying to make everyone better (as a team and individually).
  16.
  17. Section III: Roster
  18. STARTERS:
  19. Jason “ri0tt” Smith
  20. Jordan “naX” Aragon
  21. Jackson “Tex” Miller
  22. Jacob “Sevey” Sevey
  23. Cade “your mom” Gardener
  24. SUBSTITUTES:
  25. Hamilton “Helcon” Erickson
  26. Ying “Butch” ChenI
  27. Section IV: Roles
  28. Entry Fragger: Your role is one of the most important in the game. It is both essential to taking sites, and getting any kills for the team. As the entry, your job is to die, and be bait for your team. If you get a kill or deal damage, you’ve done more than enough. Your loadout should be a rifle, smoke, flash, frag, and armor. (Jackson~Tex/Jason~ri0tt)
  29.
  30. Support/Rifler: You are the entry fraggers lifeline. You toss pop flashes and smokes to cover your entry. If you don’t trade the kill that your entry lit, you have not done your job! But, if you manage to trade it and get information before you die, you are loved by your teammates and there will be a buttfuck after the match (no homo), regardless of the outcome. Your loadout should be the same as the entry, but preferably more flashes, and a frag is also more desirable for the support.
  31. (Jason~ri0tt/Jacob~Sevey)
  32.
  33. Lurker: This role is not so essential, but one of the best in terms of round winning ability. As a lurker, you should be prepared to fuck those CTs in the ass if they try to rotate. If you manage to get a few frags on the CTs and cut off a rotation, you’ve done your job, but if you don’t just try to get information on where the CTs might be pushing the site. If you do neither or these things, ri0tt will give you a mushroom stamp, along with a frosty nosebleed. Loadout same as entry.
  34. (Cade~your mom)
  35.
  36. AWPer: An AWPer is the fragger. He gets the kills in one swift shot, but if you’re a bad shot, might as well pick up that P90 now. AWPer is possibly one of the hardest roles on the team, as it takes patience, skill, and most of all, a big dick froge. Seriously though, this takes practice. If you’re up to the challenge, PM me or steam message me about it.
  37. (Jordan~naX/Jason~ri0tt)
  38.
  39. IGL: This role is the most important of any and all of them. Without it, the team has no structure, and no compass. Keep your team in line. Manage economy. Be the leader, and make sure everyone is doing their job, including yourself. Your last priority should be getting frags, and your first should be making sure everyone else is working together and not getting confused. Generally being the bomb carrier, make sure your team knows where it is planted.(Jordan~naX)
