About SGDQ registration

So if anyone does not know, I am 15 and at SGDQ. I know that u have to be 16 to register so I was messaging romscout about it. He said that I would need them to get my badge, however they can leave after if they want. However, when I went to registration, they said that I need my parent with me at all times. I just DMed romscout about this, and he has yet to respond. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know
