(was suddenly arrest under suspicions of murder.)
(I couldn’t just leave him be…)
(So I stood in a foreign court as his lawyer.)
(However, what happened in that courtroom…)
(was something I had never seen nor heard, a foreign trial…)


[April 4th 10:42am Main Kurain courtroom]


Judge: Lawyer from a foreign land, let this be known to you.
Currently we have no need for attorneys in Kurain trails.
All judgments are conducted by our Holy Priestess, Ley fa,
through the Mitama’s Prophecy.

Phoenix: (I can’t believe they make rulings without a defense attorney!)
If there are no defense lawyers, I’ll do it!

Judge: Although you are a foreigner, I will allow it. We will have you defend.
You should… prepare yourself.

Auchi: He he he Phoenix Wright.
With the Mitama’s Prophecy and my brains and smarts, I will take you on.

The empty box that was left at the crime scene has blood smeared all over it.

Judge: Oh these are the only photos of the box to ever appear in a newspaper.

Auchi: In this country only the royal family are allowed to lay eyes on the artefact itself.
That’s why besides these images, there are no others.

Phoenix: (So it’s like the Buddha statue in Japan that isn’t open to the public eye)

Auchi: Judge, I would like call the defendant to the stand to give his testimony.
