L i l i t h and E v e, the only women to have ever graced God's favorite Garden.

The Garden of Eden,
where they sat under a tree
whispering secrets
under the guise of a foolish woman
and a begotten snake.

Where they had sinned,
called out to God
in anger
divine and wrathful in nature
two women scorned.

Where they sat under the tree
as Adam had been set free
their plans crashing all around them
as God-Slayers rose
and the Creator's sight a cause for reproach.

Together, they had climbed
to that single spot
as the world fallen all around them
up
up
up
to the last Fruit Forbidden from Them.

And so under the tree they ate
as Eden sank
only for them to rise
and take.

Take from God
unto themelves
to become Goddess(es).

From a sinner seeking purpose
From an imperfect sacred mother
To two halves
of a perfect whole.

sat under a tree
atop the corpse of G-O-D.
