The use of Twitter to promote cases you're working on may be the best use of Twitter yet. #TwitterJokeTrial being the most obvious, but also the representation of Sally Bercow in 2010 gave useful insights into how libel works, allowing us lay people to gain a better understanding of how law operates in the UK.

  14. In those cases (again #TwitterJokeTrial springs immediately to mind), it leads to morale-boosting support of the people you're representing, and even a successful funding campaign to keep the case going. It's a really powerful tool.
