  1. <Haruna> The youngest of the kongou class ships had successfully managed to sneak away from the base. At the very least, she felt like she did... Even if she was allowed to travel on her own, to some degree, she wasn't at all sure if she was allowed this far in the ocean, and she wasn't about to wait for permission.--
  2. <Haruna> What was her purpose all the way out here by herself? Easy... She just wanted a chance to fire her guns~ Thus, when she felt she was a suitable distance away, she looked around for anything she could possibly use as a target... Being an ocean, this would likely be no easy task.--
  3. <Haruna> "Aaaah, I should have brought a floaty thing or something..." Eventually, she saw something moving, just beneath the water's surface. She wondered, for a moment, if it was an enemy destroyer... but, they would be much bigger if they were... Perhaps an animal? Oh well~ Whatever the case, she gave a look of determination.--
  4. <Haruna> "Right! A target! All guns take aim!" She shouted proudly, giggling a bit at just the silliness of what she was saying. She turned her guns onto the shape moving beneath the surface, making sure to lead it accordingly...
  5. <Haruna> --
  6. <Haruna> "Main guns! Fire!" She braced herself for a moment before firing all at once. Despite her bracing, and how used to this she was, she was pushed back just a bit as smoke, fire, and that satisfying sound of her main guns filled the air. Due to the smoke, she'd not tell if she hit the target... Really, she didn't care. It was always thrilling just to get out once and listen to her cannons firing.--
  7. <Haruna> She breathed in deep, enjoying the smell of gunpowder in the air as she waited for her cannons to finish reloading. "Aaah... That was so much fun~"
  8. * You are now known as Hiei
  9. <Hiei> It would seem that little Haruna isn't as sneaky as she thought that she was, because her big sister noticed and trailed after her. She watches for a while, silent as can be before letting out a small sigh and approaching her sister ship. Once she's within earshot, she clears her throat, hoping that she catches the other's attention as she puts her hands on her hips, assuming a 'you're in trouble' stance.
  10. <Haruna> She was just looking for another target when she heard the clearing of her sister's throat. She went rigid, whipping around quickly and hoping that she was only just discovered. "H-Hiei onee-san! H-Haruna did... not expect to see you out here!" She seems to forget that someone would likely have to have followed her to have found her out on the open ocean.--
  11. <Haruna> "Y-you look well... ehe..." The stance Hiei took helped her stay calm none, noticing her cannons still trained to the front and, instead, pointing them out to the sides as she averted her gaze. "S-sorry..."
  12. <Hiei> "Don't play coy, Haruna... just what are you doing out here all by yourself?" Hiei leaned in a bit, raising an eyebrow to punctuate her question. Ai ya, why did having younger sisters have to be a pain? Idly, she wondered if Kongou thought the same about her, but, well... now wasn't the time to think about that. "What would happen if you got attacked out here without anyone to help you, huh? Nobody would know what happened to you
  13. <Hiei> if you got yourself sunk since you didn't tell anybody where you were going, you know?" She seems angry judging by the tone of her voice. But... it's not unwarranted; she has a good point.
  14. <Haruna> "W-well! Haruna would run away of course! I-I'm fast like that!" She tried to explain, admittedly hopelessly. Really, being fast was her only pride, and something she really did rely heavily on. "Haru-- I-I just... wanted to fire my guns, is all... I wanted to hear the sounds and smell the smoke! And..." She realized she could have requested some time for target practice, but she always felt so--
  15. <Haruna> --restricted during those times. Realizing this, she sighs - bowing her head in shame. "Haru-- I... have no excuse..."
  16. <Hiei> "And you couldn't think to have somebody come with you?" In one, quick movement, Hiei skates over to her younger sister, delivering a smack to the back of Haruna's head. Not hard enough to hurt her really, but hard enough to get her point across. "Dummy! If you'da asked, I would've come with you. But, instead, I had to follow you out here to make sure you didn't get hurt." Hiei huffs, crossing her arms as she leans back a little
  17. <Hiei> to give her sister some space, but keeps up the glare.
  18. <Haruna> She winces and holds her head anyway - as if she got hit plenty hard enough to hurt. "I-I'm sorry..." She didn't want to mention how exhilerating it felt to sneak out... She just accepted the punishment she got. Mentioning that would only make it worse, anyway. She still held her head and kept her gaze downward - partly in shame, partly in fear of more scolding. She deserved it, really.
  19. <Hiei> "Well? What did you learn?" Hiei stood there expectantly, waiting for a response to her question. It seems that she wasn't going to let Haruna off with just that. It isn't that Hiei wanted to do all this, but... well, there was a sense of responsibility that she had regarding this matter. It wouldn't be good for Haruna if Hiei didn't make absolutely sure that the other learned her lesson.
  20. <Haruna> Don't get caught... That's what Haruna thought, at least, but she just uncovered her head - eyes still cast down - and responded how she imagined was desired of her, "Have someone accompany me..." she spoke, still rather downcast at this incident. Now she just felt like going back to her room.
  21. <Hiei> God damn it. The point wasn't to make her all dejected. With a grumbly sigh, Hiei moves to stand next to her sister, wrapping an arm around her shoulder and lifting her slightly out of the water in the process. "Look. If you wanna sneak out and shoot at stuff, I don't care, alright? But bring your big sis with you next time, huh? I like shooting stuff, too."
  22. <Haruna> She flinched a bit as Hiei moved closer, expecting to get hit again or something. At being given a side-hug, though, she smiled softly and still kept her gaze averted. "Okay, nee-san... B-but, I guess we should be getting back, then...?" She wasn't expecting to be out long in the first place, really. A few salvos, but now her mood had been sort of killed...
  23. <Hiei> "Mmh, yeah. --Oh, but while I'm thinking about it, don't tell Onee-sama about any of this; we'll BOTH get in trouble." With that, she releases Haruna back into the water, glancing back in the direction of the naval base just to make sure that she wasn't followed after following Haruna. "Well, come on, then." Hiei wastes no time in returning to base, only pausing once to glance over her shoulder at her sister to offer her a small
  24. <Hiei> smile. "Come on, let's go~"
  25. <Haruna> She nods, smiling a bit more honestly this time as she follows her sister. "Okay~!" Seems she cheered up a bit from her sister's mention... it made her feel a bit more relieved that no-one else was going to know about this.
