  1. Firefox
  2.
  3. Attempted self-analysis:
  4.
  5. Firefox is a classical fragile speedster fighter, with low damage moves and low survivability but high speed. Firefox's attacks have amazing frame data, as do its roll, spotdodge, and airdodge. As is typical for most fragile speedsters, Firefox makes up for low damage with tremendous combing ability, and low survivability with high mobility.
  6.
  7. Firefox's dominant range is up close, where it does the most damage. Firefox's main weapons are its paws, its jaws, and its medium-ranged tail, and all of them are lightning fast, giving it the frame advantage whenever it strikes. This speed is supplemented by Firefox's passive ability, JIT, which gives a frame data boost to moves that it has done recently. If the involved moves are "warmed up" enough, this ability turns what would otherwise be mix-ups and escapable strings into true combos.
  8.
  9. Firefox also has the mobility of its real-life counterparts, aiding hit and run playstyles and making its neutral powerful. Flame toss is a very fast projectile, and because of its favorable frame data and range, is easily spammed. Night fox gives Firefox a way to evade and/or counterattack unsuspecting opponents, and serves as one of Firefox's two recovery moves. And SpiderMonkey gives a temporary base for Firefox to contest recoveries off of, and can quickly be replaced as soon as the tether's lifespan passes.
  10.
  11. Firefox, for its amazing speed, has plenty of exploitable weaknesses. It is very light, and its main recovery move, SpiderMonkey, serves the opponent as well as Firefox in recovery, making it easy for opponents to challenge it. Its other recovery move, Night Fox, only goes a short distance, and Firefox is vulnerable for a large number of frames before it activates, giving an uncharacteristically wide window for opponents to gimp Firefox. All in all, with the cunning of foxes, Firefox can be a beast on stage, but should avoid offstage unless the situation calls for it.
  12.
  13. Medium-small frame
  14. Very low weight
  15. High fall acceleration
  16. High maximum speed
  17. Medium friction
  18. Medium air control
  19. 1 midair jump
  20.
  21. Walk: Medium speed.
  22. Dash: High speed. 25 frames of turnaround.
  23. Roll: Intangible frames 2-20, ends on frame 30. Medium-high distance.

  25. Airdodge: Intangible frames 1-30, ends on frame 36.
  26. Jump: Medium. Active frame 4.
  27.
  28. Firefox has a passive ability: JIT. When a move is used, it is put in a length 20 queue that resembles a staling queue. However, it does not have a staling effect. Rather, the startup lag of each active hit of the move decreases by 2% for each entry in the queue.
  29.
  30. Jab: Sets fire right in front of Firefox. Transcendent. Active frame 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, ends frame 29. 1 damage each hit, first 4 hits flinching, 5th hit slight vertical knockback.

  36. Usmash: Firefox bites upwards, drags the opponent down, and rips them apart. Active frames 12-15, 18-19, 23-24, 28-29, ends frame 42. First hit 2(3) damage, next three hits 3(4) damage, first hit slight meteor smash without knockback growth, second and third hit flinching with 2* hitstun, fourth hit strong horizontal knockback, can KO at 145.
  37. Dsmash: Swipes paws at the opponent repeatedly. Active frames 9-10, 12-13, 15-16, 18-19, ends frame 37. Each hit 3(4) damage, first three hits slight horizontal knockback, last hit moderate horizontal knockback, can KO at 160.
  38. Nair: Swipes paws all around. Active frame 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, ends frame 33, land 9 frames, autocancels from full hop. Each hit 1 damage, all but last hit autolink, last hit weak downwards knockback.

  44. Pummel: Tightens bite. Active frame 1, ends frame 15. 1 damage.
  45. Fthrow: Tosses opponent forwards. Active frame 10, ends frame 27. 4 damage, strong diagonal knockback, can KO at 200.
  46. Bthrow: Spins around, releasing the opponent at the back and hitting with the tail. Active frame 15, ends frame 30. 5 damage, strong horizontal knockback, can KO at 210.

  55. Uspecial: SpiderMonkey. Firefox extends a tether made up of monkeys in the direction the control stick is pointed. If it contacts a surface, Firefox can then climb on them, jump off them, and they remain for 4 seconds. There can only be one tether in play at a time. Active frames 20-50, ends frame 65.
  56. Dspecial: Precompile. The next move Firefox executes after this one replaces 5 entries in the queue rather than one. Active frame 5, ends frame 15.
