[14:33] <Champion> The Angel somehow gives each evangelion a glare despite the obvious lack of a face to perform such an act with. Inside his plug, Anto’s power rapidly dwindles due to his Eva’s poor construction. Unbeknownst to pilot, his power cord had snapped during his frantic run to re-power his allies, and now he is looking down the proverbial barrel of a gun. With an Angel hellbent of his destruction,
[14:33] <Champion> a swiftly diminishing battery, and little else in the way between them, it doesn’t look good for him.
[14:33] <Champion> Tania, with one broken arm, is still somehow better off, at least enjoying the privilege of a knife and secure power cord. Jack is similarly in a good position, arguably the safest and best off of all the pilots. The command center is abuzz, Sub-Commander Clarke glaring at the angel with a look that promises murder. While Thorp, Holley, and Smith relay vital information to Leon. All the
[14:33] <Champion> while, Commander Kennedy looks on from above, his face hidden by shadows.
[14:39] * Leon_Raczkowski contemplates the situation and tries his best to come up with something as quickly as possible before he gives Thorp a tap on the shoulder.
[14:40] <Leon_Raczkowski> "See if you can get a VTOL wing to deploy a battery near Anto. We can have one of the others plug it in hopefully. Then forward our biometrics and targeting data to Jack. He's our best bet for killing this thing."
[14:41] * Leon_Raczkowski then proceeds to open comms to Jack: "Jack, I'm hoping you'll be able to end this. Aim for it's center of mass; the big red orb thingie. If video games serve me right that looks like a big red off button."
[14:42] * Jack_Murdock focuses his AT field on sapping the enemies as he pulls up his gun and aims for the beast's red orb
[14:45] <Anto_Belac> "Okay. I've still got some time left, I can finish my j--" the screens all shut off and red lights flare all over the plug. "But-- the timer-- oh man," Anto wraps his arm around his head and cowers.
[14:46] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Anto, stay calm. If there's anything this fight has told us its that when the batteries run out it doesn't mean you're out of the fight."
[14:48] <Champion> Even with the drain of the Jack neutralizing it's AT field, there is still plenty enough to flicker into reality at the last second, and orange octagon deflecting every shot.
[14:49] <Jack_Murdock> "Damn." he growls
[14:50] <Champion> "Yes sir," comes the rpely from thorp, as he begins to type in your oders into the massive computer system. "VTOL's will arrive soon."
[14:53] * Tania_Clarke notices Anto running out of power.
[14:53] <Tania_Clarke> "Huh?! That's off the- ... less energy efficient..."
[14:54] <Champion> With Anto powered down, the Angel sees an easy target, and brings down it's claws on the poor boys Eva. It's remaining right arm is badly damaged, and only manages to make contact once. With a vicious strike, it hits the evangelion's left leg, armor tearing as if it wasn't even there.
[14:55] * Leon_Raczkowski grimaces at the damage done, remarking to no one in particular: "Although, having no leg will get you out of the fight real quick."
[14:58] * Anto_Belac starts at the tearing sound.  "What was that? Did I get hit?"
[14:58] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Possibly."
[15:00] <Tania_Clarke> "Left leg, through the armor."
[15:01] <Leon_Raczkowski> "What she said."
[15:03] * Tania_Clarke takes the newly emerged knife with the EVA's remaining arm, and stares at the enemy, gritting her teeth.
[15:03] <Tania_Clarke> "Neutralizing enemy AT Field! 02, shoot it again!"
[15:05] <Jack_Murdock> "Well, if you really think I should." He replies sarcastically
[15:07] <Champion> From above, a brave VTOL squadron dares to enter the fray, deftly maneuvering the high rises and storm of bullets flying in the skies. With a brutal shuddering, a mobile supply port is dropped near Anto, several DM away to be safe from the Angel's rampage. "The supply drop has landed!" Thorp announces.
[15:09] * Leon_Raczkowski watches as it crushes a few cars and half of the road before stopping.
[15:09] <Leon_Raczkowski> "And how."
[15:09] <Champion> "Well, at least this will give us a chance to work on reconstruction with a few new... ideas of mine," Faust notes, in his everpresent creepy way.
[15:11] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Walk-in clinics? or turrets? I'd much prefer turrets doctor."
[15:14] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Alright, Tania try to get to Anto ASAP so we can get our third out on the field again. Jack, prepare for incoming data. Same target as last time."
[15:14] <Champion> "Of course, warmaster. Now though, I do have some ideas for ammo that you may find... interesting," the bad doctor replies, trailing off.
[15:14] * Leon_Raczkowski turns to Faust and at the words "new ammo" and for once smiles in his direction.

[15:18] <Champion> As Tania continues to tear away at the creature's AT field, it suddenly collapses. Orange octagon's appear and shatter, signalling the end of it's formidable defense.
[15:18] <Jack_Murdock> Being a little mad at his last shot, Jack decides that the best course of action is to unload his gun on the thing. He pulls the gun up and quickly braces it before hammering down on the trigger
[15:27] <Champion> His fury is duly rewarded, as the Angel
[15:29] <Champion> His fury is duly rewarded, as the Angel's badly damaged left leg is torn off with rampage of bullets that riddle the creature. The leg is torn to shreds, leaving only a stump as if falls to the ground. Pieces litter the street, and thousands of gallons of angelic blood flow.
[15:31] <Leon_Raczkowski> "...huh. Well. Someone plug Anto in so he can help coup de grâce this thing and end this. Please."
[15:31] <Jack_Murdock> "I'm going to move in closer and try again."
[15:37] <Anto_Belac> "I'm gonna be okay, I'm gonna be okay, I'm gonna be okay..." he curls into a tinier ball.
[15:37] * Tania_Clarke is taken aback by how effective the barrage is.
[15:40] <Tania_Clarke> "...my turn."
[15:40] * Tania_Clarke charges at the enemy's prone form and slashes with the progressive knife.

[16:11] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Tania, see if you can pu--...kick that thing over and start stabbing the core. I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm tired of looking at it."
[16:11] * Leon_Raczkowski turns to Faust. "Except maybe the doctor."
[16:12] <Champion> The Angel writhes on the ground, obivously in pain as it continues to bleed out.
[16:12] <Tania_Clarke> "Oh, it's still alive?"
[16:12] <Leon_Raczkowski> "It's still dying."
[16:13] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Being alive is a relative term."
[16:15] <Anto_Belac> "Jack please I wanna do my job. Let me do my job otherwise I'm not gonna eat and they're gonna beat me and aaaaaah--"
[16:16] <Jack_Murdock> "Stop whining, I'm on my way."
[16:17] * Leon_Raczkowski rubs his temples.
[16:21] * Tania_Clarke looks at the enemy with contempt and slashes again.
[16:23] <Champion> Pulling the arms back, with a vicious, jagged cutting motion, Tania slowly cuts her way through the Angel's arm in a wat that would make herr doctor proud. At last, the progressive blade tore through the last, sinewy strand, the arm was torn free, Tania's trophy of the battle.
[16:23] <Tania_Clarke> "Eye for an eye..." she whispers.
[16:24] <Tania_Clarke> "Captain, I got your arm!"
[16:24] * Leon_Raczkowski watches the screen with great interest, cocking an eyebrow and giving her a slow clap.
[16:25] <Leon_Raczkowski> "...Well, Doctor Faust, it looks like you've got something to play with after we recover that."
[16:25] <Champion> Faust begins to clap giddly, behaving in a manner not unlike a school girl who just found out the highschool's quarterback was going to ask her to prom.
[16:25] * Leon_Raczkowski immediately regrets suggesting he can "play" with it.
[16:25] <Leon_Raczkowski> "...Well, Tania, flip that thing over and destroy the core. Jack, get Anto up and you two can finish it as well."
[16:26] <Champion> "I will have to get little miss Clarke a present for this, don't you think Warmaster?"
[16:27] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Planning on getting her a pony?"
[16:27] <Tania_Clarke> "The core?"
[16:27] * Leon_Raczkowski finally is letting himself calm down from being stressed. Going from everyone being powered down and half-dead with the city half destroyed to finally having the angel against the ropes is doing wonders for his blood pressure.
[16:28] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Core. Big red thing that looks like it's important. It was in it's chest. I don't really know what else to call it."
[16:28] * Leon_Raczkowski turns to Faust: "...it is important, right?"
[16:29] <Champion> "Shrugging, Faust grins, and answers, "Not a clue. Lets do some Science on it and find out."
[16:30] * Leon_Raczkowski opens comms with Tania once more: "Ok, core or not, Faust says science it. I take that to mean stab it until something happens."
[16:32] <Tania_Clarke> "Affirmetive."
[16:34] <Jack_Murdock> Holding his rifle in one hand, Jack uses his free one to pick up the battery from the ground. He then turns to Anto's eva and plugs it into the umbilical port.
[16:34] * Tania_Clarke glances at the unpowered Unit 00.
[16:35] <Tania_Clarke> "Hey, Anton."
[16:36] <Anto_Belac> "What?"
[16:36] <Champion> Power surges through the recharging evangelion, leaving Leon precious little time before feedback hits Anto. Lights blink on again inside the plug, and slowly Anto feels himself expand.
[16:36] <Tania_Clarke> "...brace yourself."
[16:36] <Anto_Belac> "Okay...systems coming back --"
[16:36] * Leon_Raczkowski watches the battery be plugged in and opens comms with Anto: "Ok, you're either going to feel a small irritation in your leg, or excruiating pain. Depends on how this goes. Prepare to drop synch and activate. Holley, watch his biometrics."
[16:41] <Anto_Belac> "I think I can AUGH WOAH." Anto grimaces and pants. "Tha- Argh. I can-rrgh- I can do my j-job."
[16:42] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Excrutiating pain then."
[16:43] <Champion> "Indeed, sir," Smith responds.
[16:45] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Anto, get yourself to your umbilical. Since this ugly thing is still incapacitated, I say we take advantage of the situation. Someone roll it over and let's science the core."
[16:47] * Anto_Belac grips the controls again and 00 fires at the downed creature.
[16:58] <Champion> The creatures other leg is torn off from the brutality, thrashing about impudently as it slowly regains conciousness.
[17:01] * Tania_Clarke lodges the foot of Unit 01 beneath the angel with a strong kick, then, using the other leg as leverage and the left fist to assist in pushing, rolls the angel over.
[17:03] <Tania_Clarke> Reversing the grip on the knife, she aims it at the red sphere in the middle and stabs.
[17:06] <Champion> The knife digs deep into the core, which begins to bleed. Form the command center, the image is like that of an Aztec sacrifice, with Tania stabbing the heart of the sacrifice. The red orb begins to glow, blinking slowly. Gradually, process speeds up, flashing on and off, faster and faster.
[17:06] <Champion> Suddenly, with a great lurching motion, the Angel grabs for Tania's head!
[17:06] <Tania_Clarke> "Huh?!"
[17:07] <Leon_Raczkowski> "...what."
[17:07] <Champion> Deftly, she manages to move out of the way at the last second, as the Angel explodes!
[17:08] <Champion> A cross appears in the sky, visiable for miles around!
[17:08] * Anto_Belac sighs. "Woah."
[17:09] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Well, now we know what happens when it starts blinking red and yellow."
[17:10] <Champion> Both Anto and Tania are caught in the blast, and explosion of white light engulfing the two. Even Jack is unable to escape in time and caught in it.
[17:12] <Leon_Raczkowski> "...Holley, Smith, start checking for vitals and evangelion positions. Thorp, check comms with them."
[17:12] * Anto_Belac recoils from the blast. "Ow."
[17:13] * Tania_Clarke dodges the arm, and steps away in time with the explosion, engulfed by its light.
[17:13] <Tania_Clarke> "Agh!"
[17:13] * Jack_Murdock gets hit with the blast, and with the last laser attack leaving a soft spot in his armor, the attack rips through. GOD DAMNIT! He shouts as he begins to hold the middle on his chest
[17:16] <Champion> "Adrenaline spiking! Nerv scans report extreme pain stimulation in all pilots!" Smith calls out, her voice strained.
[17:17] <Champion> "Evangelions have recieved damage to the main bodyh rejoins, with lesser damage to extremities!"adds Holley, who is typing fantically.
[17:22] <Champion> "How... interesting,
[17:22] <Champion> "How... interesting," Faust notes, earning a glare from Clarke.
[17:23] * Leon_Raczkowski leans over to the comms station, speaking: "Pilots, report."
[17:24] <Champion> The smoke clears, revealing a badly dmaged Unit 02, a slightly more hurt Unit 01, and an otherwise fine Unit 00, who absorbed most of the damage just fine.
[17:24] * Tania_Clarke lowers the EVA's arm, which was shielding the head from the blast.
[17:24] <Tania_Clarke> "...is it over?"
[17:25] <Leon_Raczkowski> "Tania confirmed. Yes, I think it is. Anto, Jack, report."
[17:25] <Champion> "Good question," Kennedy asks from above, his voice calm and controlled.
[17:26] <Anto_Belac> "C-Can I be done now, please?"
[17:26] <Jack_Murdock> "What?! I'm busy, ask me later."
[17:27] <Leon_Raczkowski> "All pilots confirmed. Someone get some visuals and let's double check that this thing is dead dead."
[17:29] <Champion> The holocreen returns, revealing the scene. Each of the units appear more or less together, while the Anel has disppeared. In it's place, a small crater, while various bits of angelic flesh remain. Thankfully, Tania's trophy remains, if a bit singed.
[17:30] <Tania_Clarke> Unit 01 kneels, inside its entry plug, a closed-eyes Tania rubs her right arm.
[17:33] <Champion> "Scanners reporting no Angelic presence! Destruction of Blood Type blue confirmed!" Thorp announces. Cheers erupt in the command center, thankfull technicians losing themselves in the excitement of survival.
[17:42] * Tania_Clarke sighs.
[17:42] <Champion> Smiling, Kennedy states, "Good Job, Mr. Raczkowski. Keep this up, and they're will be good things ahead for you, I promise."
[17:43] <Champion> Turning around, Kennedy departs the command deck for places unknown.
