bloodninja: hey, did you end up making a post last night? i didn't see anything and im curious about what the conclusion to all of this is

bloodninja: wasn't she the one telling you that she needed players, that cyni quit, that allenar never showed, etc?
bloodninja: the team sounds like it has 7 available players excluding treebeard

RD2L Mumbler: and boyle hasn't been on in more than a week
bloodninja: i don't have the chatlog on me, i can send it to you when i get home tonight

bloodninja: cyni just sat last week to give play time to boyle/allenar
bloodninja: what'd you hear about allenar and from whom?
RD2L Mumbler: it doesn't matter

bloodninja: sure, but a team should never be getting stand-ins or replacement players instead of playing the players they have on their roster who are available, right?
bloodninja: and i think i get where your'e coming from about not punishing the team because you could have disallowed the addition in the first place
RD2L Mumbler: neither allenar or amber are that good at communcating
bloodninja: but i think not doing anything is extremely punishing to wallower's team who is out of playoffs contention directly because of last week's 2-0 with treebeard
RD2L Mumbler: is what I got from talking to both
bloodninja: i got that feeling too, but isn't the onus on the captain to get the players together for the game?
bloodninja: nobody wants to be that 6th rounder begging to play every week, is what i got from talking to allenar
bloodninja: and not doing anything is also pretty punishing to abu/mango girl as well, if they go 1-1 they're out of the playoffs thanks to the situation
RD2L Mumbler: same would be true if wallower and amber switched places
bloodninja: i wouldn't give wallower defwins for this
bloodninja: just put it as if both teams didn't play last week
RD2L Mumbler: and truckwaffles with the score switched has an even less chance of going to the play offs
bloodninja: so like icening 7-5 instead of 9-5 and wallower 6-6 instead of 6-8
RD2L Mumbler: because amber has more win
bloodninja: if we assume for a second that all of the games are 50/50, there's only a 25% chance of me 2-0ing icening and a 50% chance of mango or abu 2-0ing the other, so only a 12.5% chance of icening not getting a free ticket to playoffs directly because of this whole situation

bloodninja: if icening goes 0-2 and wallower 2-0 then wallower is 8-6 and icening is 7-7
bloodninja: and if icening goes 0-2 and mango/abu go 1-1 then it's 7-7 icening and 8-8 mango/abu and we play 3-way tiebreaker

bloodninja: actually im looking at the rules right now and 8-8 is better than 7-7 in the rulebook
bloodninja: Rank will be determined by a team’s total number of points divided by number of games played. Wins will be 2 points, ties will be 1 point, loses/forfeits will be 0 points. The team with the most points will be ranked first, and the least points ranked last. Teams tied by points will be ordered at random for scheduling reason

bloodninja: oh wait i lied
bloodninja: my original statement of everyone 1.0 (7-7 and 8-8 is equal) is correct i think
