Born to a regular forge family. Didn't take well to the forges preferred to spend my time either hitting things or reading books. Family thought I had some mental issues due to the rather polar opposite hobbies and gave me the boot. So I spent quite a few years wandering in random forests studying what I could and smashing things with hammers when I couldn't study them

 I am not planning to stay permanently but the villagers were friendly and gave me plenty of food in return for me helping with my rather prodigious strength to move and fix things that were broken
