  1. arrives at the now long since dead king's castle, his head hung in sorrow as he walked down the halls of the once bustling fort. Uetai felt empathy for the abandoned, obsolete building and felt as utterly useless as her now barren walls and dirty floors. Uetai cried out in a voice full of rage and disgust;
  2.
  3. "That coward! All of them cowards!" Uetai screamed now, beginning to curse the very heavens for the disgraced fate of his people. "How could you forsake us, spirit of vegeta! You promised us great hope and you abandoned us! It's your fault that our people have conceded to these space beasts and allowed them to taint our land with their headquarters, which any idiot could discern is to allow them forward combat operations on our soil! The damned cowards don't even realize they handed over the planet on a silver platter!" Uetai's voice was growing harshened by his continued screaming, wailing his hands about like a madman as he paced in a continual circle atop the throne platform.

  5. The Saiyan was envisioning the death his brother should have had, fighting these aliens off in defense of their homeland, and his dull brown eyes glazed over as he was lost in his thoughts. Uetai continued to play it out, and no matter the circumstances any self-respecting Saiyan would have not tolerated such unadulterated intrusion upon Vegeta and would have happily given his life in service of the planet and its people. Uetai was reminded of his brother carrying on the elections without a majority of the key players present, and was displeased with the results of the council, his ideal balance of power instead resulting in a mockery of a republic, a blatantly one-sided council that would not accomplish what Uetai had sought it to do.
  6.
  7. Uetai's rage was now at an entirely new level of intensity, the irises of his eyes running bright red with the innumerous veins that ran throughout. His hand trembled with anger even as they reached into his back pocket and retrieved a small white ball that the Saiyan would squeeze and then toss into the air, his eyes following the golf-ball sized object as it expanded and let off an eerie light that was akin to the moon of Vegeta. As Uetai watched the ball, his nose started to slump down and his jaw protruded as it transformed into a snout, all the while sprouting thick tufts of fur from across his body and his size growing exponentially until he barely fit within the room. Allowing the true nature of his being to come to the surface, Uetai went about virtually demolishing the throne room, save for the throne itself which he left untouched, as he smashed his massive hands against the chairs and torches and body slamming into the walls, chipping off hunks of concrete as he did.
  8.
  9. The massive ape version of the otherwise calm and collected Saiyan quickly wore itself out though, Uetai's immense fury boiling to the surface and fighting for control over his body with the primal instincts of his Oozaru form. As Uetai fought over control of himself, his rage continued to hone itself and further define its prongs, its targets. Eventually, the man would shrink back down to size, his beastial strength parting but the assosciated fury remaining, only to assimilate with the man's already blackened mindstate.
  10.
  11. Ivan... He too had disappointed Uetai, though not nearly as much as his now thrice-disgraced brother. Ivan, a man that Uetai had such high hopes and promise for, too, proved to take the fool's path and allow the aliens the chance to get a foothold upon Vegeta, making ejecting them from the planet that much more difficult. To top it all, Ivan then leaves with Jack accompanying the aliens, aiding them even, all for the hopes to rely upon the aliens' power in time of war.

  13. The council that Uetai envisioned was one that prioritized Vegetians and taking pride in doing things independently as a planet, growing to know their own strengths, weaknesses and how to utilize them best. The way that the would-be council members handled their first real test has proven to Uetai that he was wrong to initiate the toppling of Isley the Absent, for atleast he had the bravery to stand up to such a situation. Uetai's dull eyes come back into focus and the Saiyan pivots upon his left heel, swirling his body to view the throne, now long since dirtied and broken and most of the impressive jewels having been pried long ago by theives and bandits, and his eyes lingered upon the seat of power.
  14.
  15. Uetai's lips parted and they slowly furled at either end, a heinous grin overtaking the Saiyan, his mind still riddled with corrupting thoughts and embittering emotions, and he made his way to the throne of the late king, running his dirt-covered hand along the soft, suede upholstery. His fingertips just barely grazed the soft, red fabric as he allowed his thoughts to overtake him again. <I was wrong to think that any number of men could have the strength needed to lead a nation... it's obvious that I am the only one prepared to make the decisions that need to be made.> Uetai's hand now ran itself along the backboard of the throne, patting some dust from the seat, before he would throw himself into the chair, leaning his right arm against the armrest, and then his face agaisnt said arm, and propping his left leg atop his right. <I could get used to this,> he jestingly thought to himself, the exquisite comfort of such a seat appealing to the otherwise rough-and-tumble Saiyan.
  16.
  17. Uetai spoke once more to the spirit of vegeta, the embodiment of the Saiyan people, though now in a normal speaking tone, the Saiyan's voice sounding slightly higher pitched than normal and with a bit of an attitude behind it. "Sprit, Show yourself to me. You are the personification of what it is to be Saiyan, so tell me what am I to do to lead our people. Now, more than ever we are at a time of weakness, cowardice and we are as divided as ever. My efforts to unite the people have only done further to separate them. How do I act upon that which is Saiyan and get the people to follow suit?" Uetai, though not entirely hopeless, was not expecting a response and did so more as a way to collect his thoughts than to converse with an intangible spirit.
