The New Girl Part 7

>You are Anon, a perfectly normal highschool student, under very abnormal circumstances.
>You've had one hell of a day, and to top it off, you learned that clothing is top of the food chain.
>And now your stuck in a pink 50's convertible with the Galo Sengen Hulk.
>Ira Gamagōri.
>Your earlier encounter with him was somewhat unpleasant what with him throwing you a good 10 feet or so.
>As uncomfortable as you are with this situation Gamagōri seems indifferent.
>He shows no sign of his earlier aggression.
>After what seems like an eternity of silence, Gamagōri is the first to speak.
>"After everything you were told today it goes without saying that you can't share that information with anyone."
>You look up at the massive figure in the drivers seat.
I-I know... I don't think anyone would believe me if I did.
>Another several minutes of uncomfortable pass as the cool night air blows against you.
>"I presume we will see you tomorrow?"
Huh?
>"Tomorrow, Matoi had said you were there for an assignment. And I doubt you got anything done today. So I expect we will see you again tomorrow."
Oh, yeah. I guess.
>"Walking will not be necessary, I will pick you up then."
Uh... T-thanks?
>Gamagōri doesn't respond, and the rest of your ride is spent in silence.

>You arrive home at 8:55.
>You get get of the car and Gamagōri speeds off without a word.
Huh... Weird bunch... And it looks like I'll be seeing more of them than I'm comfortable with.
>You head inside, unlocking the front door with your key, obviously no one was home.
>You head up the stairs and into the the kitchen to fix yourself a small dinner before you go to bed.
>There's a note taped to the fridge, you read it over quickly before casting it aside.
>"Anon, we went to visit some friends, for a few days. Will return next week. Love Mom and Dad."
>Figures. They tend to do things without planning ahead or letting you know.
>But at least you have the house to yourself for a bit.
>What better way to capitalize on this than by getting some sleep!
>You make yourself a sandwich and a bowl of soup, which you finish quickly and get ready for bed.

>You've been lying awake for some time now, partly because of the overload of information you received earlier, partly because of the eerie feeling that you were being watched.
>That nagging suspicion in the back of your mind that keeps telling you that there's someone watching...
>You shift your eyes around in the dimly lit room looking over your various possessions on the tables and shelves that lined your room.
>Nothing that was out of the ordinary.
>But one item catches your eye.
>Hanging against the wall in a small frame.
>A single tattered piece of red cloth with yellow and orange trim.
>It had been there for a while, your mother had found it a few weeks ago.
>As much as you thought it was garbage your mother in her love of modern art had decided that it was worth keeping as a "decoration."
>Worse yet, she put it in your room.
>"You need to liven this room up Anon! It'd look so much better!"
>You didn't exactly want it taking up space on your wall, but you knew better than to argue with your mom.
>So there it sat.
>It's trim pattern gave it an eyeball like appearance, which in the current light was admittedly sort of creepy.
>You shake your head and push the thought of being watched out of your mind and finally fall asleep.
