FIRST OFF, DEFINING PERSONALITY TRAITS

undeniably awful. like seriously i always say sisisi is the worst but cerris actively does bad things
hemoist, despite not being all that high on the spectrum herself as a jadeblood
compulsive liar, catfisher and manipulator
incredibly arrogant
despite her successful love life (every quadrant filled) feels lonely
subscribes to ancestral calling belief and owns many a coded novel written by her ancestor
fear of being watched/birds (her planet is land of eyes and feathers this poor sneke. jk shes awful)
pretty awful memory most of the time

she failed the witch class's challenge to only use their aspect manipulation in a moral way even before the game began, as a witch
of heart she catfished and lied to hundreds of trolls just to get their approval and feed her ego, before tracking them down and
killing them to death so theyd never speak a word of what she does; and to collect their blood, as her ancestral calling told her
to do

elatus was one of these people, but unlike them, he knew all along who she really was, thanks to the clouds of prospit; this fact
terrified her, but she refused to let this show, so she remained in a quadrant with him and meddled as often as possible to be sure
he wasnt using his advantage; he on the other hand felt legitimately black for her, so this was just a really unfortunate situation

she berates those "beneath" her in colour, especially when masquerading as one, and insincerely bows at the feet of those "above"
her, and does it in such a way its somehow a little bit condescending. shes good at that

she has no friends outside of her quadrantmates, thus her loneliness. part of her catfishing and lying is to try feed her ego and
make her feel like many love her, even if she kills them all when shes through out of believed obligation, its nice to think
someone could really like her and think there was nothing wrong with her for a while

as a witch of heart, she can manipulate personalities and emotions to an extent; and do that she does, using codatas feelings for
her to sway her from disagreeing with her, and this ultimately leads to their demises, as she told her to fight borela to keep
her occupied while she killed/tried to kill elatus, after entering the game and before becoming a rainbow drinker; if she hadnt
been a giant absolute asshole, codata would have stopped the fight being friends with melini and prevented him from lancing
cerris through the bobbie. unfortunately cerris is incredibly arrogant and thought she didnt need any help going up against elatus
and forgot that he actually had friends, one of which is the horse boy with a vendetta against her

in her haze before becoming conscious again as a rainbow drinker, cerris meets her dancestor briefly, and scares the everloving
shit out of her by telling her about all the people shes killed, just like she was supposed to!! she does this because she mistook
this for an afterlife, knowing she had just been speared through the chest and all, and figured this HAS to be her ANCESTOR! shes
never even heard of a "scratch" at this point, because shes been mindlessly slaughtering her consorts and everything that could
possibly help her, believing she is the only one who knows what shes doing and how to do it. she later discovers she wasnt meant
to kill her catfish victims, and also wasnt supposed to do that in the first place. all she had been instructed to do was find
people and steal their blood, because it will be important later, but shes just. so thoroughly fucked up she didnt once consider
using people who were already dead, or someone unconscious

her dancestor asks why, and she doesnt know

she in fact has no idea why shes like this at all, because it isnt her personality. its a masquerade, a charade like everything
else. she thinks she had a reason at some point, but she forgot, and now shes continuing out of pure obligation, because what
point was this role in the play if she just stopped? she doesnt even know what personality she used to have before she started this,
and at this point shes afraid to ask anyone who might have known, because she doesnt know if she can stop at this point

after learning more of the dreambubble system, she later finds a past self, the one with the personality she forgot ages ago

she was happy, legitimately happy, which was the most striking difference initially. further investigation causes her to discover she
used to be:

rather excitable about pretty much everything
enthusiastic about learning about other people
considered herself a good matchmaker
had dreams of having a scandalous romance with a thief (codatas class cause gay m&ms are written in the stars)
was still incredibly arrogant, hubris crushing any notions that she was ever wrong about anything ever

she also finally learnt why she changed: she was almost killed, a feud with someone who made their terrible, awful bird come after her;
a peacock, an oversized one with an eye on every feather, in an attempt to cull her for being so infuriatingly weak

after a while of knowing this, she slowly began merging her current "personality" with her old one, splinters reformed into one whole
rather than being one or another

shes still awful but at least she knows why and at least shes trying to be less so now
