Alpha League Challenger Rules

A challenger must adhere to the following rules while challenging the league.
A challenger can challenge the league in any one of the two formats that is either monotype or Ou. If the challenger selects monotype format to challenge the league then the challenger will be allowed to keep 2 substitute Pokemon which he may add in team during battle. However no substitution will be allowed if the challenger selects Ou tier to challenge the league. Certain Ou Pokemon are banned from use in the challenge :
* Talonflame
* Mega sabelye
* Mega Altaria

1.To start your challenge you must inform a professor(@) or a room owner (#) who will then register your team of Pokemon. Only names have to be provided.
2.Once the registration is done the following challenge pattern must be followed:
- 8 gym leaders(8 different types)
- frontier heads( 4 different tiers)
- 4 Professors
-2 Chaperones
- Elite four
- Champion.

3. The challenger must defeat two gym trainers($) before battling any gym leader(%).Once gym trainers have been defeated the challenger may proceed to battling gym leader. if the challenger gets defeated by a gym leader then the challenger cannot rechallenge the gym leader for that day. There is a waiting period of 24 hours however the challenger may continue his challenge by battling other gym leaders.

4.The challenger should save every replay of his league challenge and must submit the link to a room owner or a professor.

5.Gym leaders will hand out league gym badges when defeated so that a record can be made of wins.

6.Frontier heads are members who specialize in metagame other than monotype. When having reached frontier head,the challenger must challenge frontier head in the metagame in which they specialize. 4 frontier heads need to be defeated before moving on to professors.

7.Four professors must be defeated before moving to elite four. The professor may change their types according to their professor specialities.

8.Two Chaperones are to be defeated to move on. They are the last step before the elite four.

9.The elite four must be defeated in a consecutive manner. That means if a challenger gets defeated by an elite four then the challenger will have to restart their elite four challenge.

10. After defeating elite four in a consecutive manner the challenger will proceed on to battle the champion of the League.After defeating the champion,the challengers name along with his team of pokemon will be entered into the hall of fame maintained on league website. The challenger will also win bucks.
Every replay must be saved and room owners or professors must be informed before starting a challenge battle against any member. Good luck !
