  1. Dear Amazon CIS, for the past few days I have gone through hell with this order, I placed an order on the 21st and my account was closed, on the 22nd it was reopened after I provided the sufficient documents, the order was dispatched then the account was closed AGAIN and the “order” was delivered on the 23rd of October which it was not, I called in explaining this and I was shut down multiple times, the order was delivered on the 28th of October, a few days ago, now I'm trying to figure out why you guys lied to us? On the 23rd of October there was nobody home to accept the delivery, we called Parcel force and they told us to contact you since you had to give us the information, you closed our account after the order was dispatched, why? Why would you do that? It's extremely dodgy, so now that we got the order on the 28th of October and after the service that you have given us we want a full refund by force and the item will be sent back to where it came from, our local Amazon depot which we have the address of, you have told us multiple times that you will NOT accept a return but you will, why you ask? Well in the UK we're covered by a thing called the consumer rights regulation. Here is what we're covered by.
  2.
  3. Cancellation rights (distance and off-premises contracts only):
  4.
  5. - Cancellation rights will continue to apply to off-premises and distance
  6. contracts only. The cancellation period will extend from the current 7
  7. calendar days (for off-premises) and 7 working days (for distance
  8. sales) to 14 calendar days for both to give consumers more time to
  9. change their minds.
  10.
  11. - Consumers should return items within 14 days of cancellation
  12.
  13. - Online and other distance or off-premises traders will be able to
  14. withhold refunds until goods are returned (or evidence of return is
  15. provided) and they can reduce the amount of money refunded for
  16. goods returned which show evidence of use beyond the handling
  17. necessary to see whether the goods are as expected.
  18.
  19. - Traders must refund within 14 days of cancellation of service contract
  20. or receipt of goods (or of evidence of the consumer returning them).
  21.
  22. - Where the consumer cancels a contract, any ancillary contract (such
  23. as a warranty or credit agreement) is automatically cancelled.
  24.
  25. This has been in place as of the 13th of June 2014.

  30. I hope you understand what you're doing, you cannot treat a customer like this, if you did not want us to purchase this item then you should of not opened our account and dispatched the order, does that make sense? This isn't a game for anybody and I don't want my money or my time wasted any more. I am furious and want this resolved ASAP.
  31.
  32. Yours sincerely,
  33.
  34. Hugh Raynor.
