- New Flagged Elements -- using a binary flag system in the tmp property.
- UCON - Universal Conductor
- Flags:
- 1 : Conducts Electricity (SPRK)
- 2 : Conducts Heat
- 4 : Conducts Activation*
- 8 : Conducts conversion Values**
- 16 : Conducts Life***
- 32 : Conducts dcolour***
- 64 : Only conducts when activated
- 128 : Conducts instantly
- Useful Combos:
- 1 : Conducts SPRK but not heat.
- 32 : For mixing colors.
- 2 + 64 + 128 = 194 : Basically HSWC
- Default (spawn) tmp:
- 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + 32 = 63
- You can put 40 particles of UCON, and just set the tmp of one. It will 'conduct' the tmp value (without showing it in the tmp). You can also set the tmp's of more than one, so that you can conduct one thing instantly, something else instantly only when activated (the particle with the tmp set to conduct when activated must be activated for it to conduct), and something else over time by having a bunch of them, and setting the tmp's of 3.
- * The powered elements all have activation capabilities. PSCN and NSCN control activation.
- ** Can conduct the awesome transformation capabilities of EDIT, CHNG, and KLST.
- *** Conducts the value from the particle with the higher value to the particle with a lower value.
- EDIT - Property Changer
- Flags:
- 1 : Copy ctype
- 2 : Copy temp
- 4 : Copy tmp2 as tmp in the target particle
- 8 : Copy life
- 16 : Copy vy*
- 32 : Copy vx*
- 64 : Copy dcolour
- 128 : Make the operation relative (adds)
- 256 : Switches to multiplication** ***
- 512 : Switches to division***
- Useful Combos:
- 2 + 128 = 130 : Adds temp
- 8 + 128 = 136 : Adds life
- 16 + 32 + 128 = 176 : Speeds things up
- Default (spawn) tmp:
- 1 + 2 + 4 + 8 + 16 + 32 + 64 = 127
- You can put an EDIT particle with a tmp of 2 and a temp of 200, and put an EDIT particle with a tmp of 136 and a life of 12 next to it (or connected by UCON with a tmp of 8), and any particles touching either of them will have their temp set to 200, and 12 added to their life.
- You can make one particle of EDIT, set it's tmp, and then blob the screen with (UCON, tmp=8), and the UCON will act as EDIT, changing the properties of any particle that touches it. You can also do this with CHNG and KLST.
- * EDIT particles don't move
- ** Multiplies the target particle's properties with the EDIT particle's and sets the target's to it.
- *** Only works with 128
- CHNG - Property Switcher
- Switches the properties specified in the flags in the target particle.
- Flags:
- 1 : Type
- 2 : Ctype
- 4 : Temp
- 8 : Tmp
- 16 : Tmp2
- 32 : vx
- 64 : vy
- 128 : Life
- Useful Combos:
- 1 + 2 = 3 : Switch Type and Ctype (LAVA(STNE) becomes STNE(LAVA))
- 32 + 64 = 96 : Does strange things with the direction
- Default (spawn) tmp:
- 1 + 2 = 3
- ********************************************************************************************************
- STOR - Already there, just a modification to use flags.
- Flags*:
- 0 : FIFO**
- 1 : Only hold one particle
- 2 : FILO***
- Default (spawn) tmp2:
- 1
- * Can only be one. Uses tmp2.
- ** First In First Out buffer
- *** First In Last Out buffer

- KLST - Catalyst
- When it's temperature reaches it's life value, it takes a particle of index tmp, a particle of index tmp2, and makes a particle of ctype.
- Ctype : Output element
- Tmp : Input element 1*
- Tmp2 : Input element 2*
- Life : Temperature needed for reaction
- Uses:
- Makes it easy to make your own reactions.
- * As index (DUST = 1, WATR = 2, etc)
- ********************************************************************************************************
- 3 new menus, selectable from a menu at the top, much like the current menus at the bottom.
- Favorites:
- Can add or remove elements from this menu.
- Frequent:
- The elements that get used the most go here.
- Recent:
- Kind of like a history, shows all of the recently used elements, can be navigated with SHIFT + left and right arrow keys.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- In-game IRC client perhaps? Using a different channel than #powder or #powder-social, however. Only logs into IRC when you log in to TPT.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Powder Game-Derived Ideas
- PEN modes:
- Random: Random velocities, random directions.
- Shot: Use much like a slingshot, to set velocity and direction.
- Normal: Just creates the particles.
- SIDE modes:
- Loop: If it goes outside the edges, it comes back on the opposite side.
- Normal: If it goes outside the edges, it never comes back.
- Wall Border:
- Toggle a border made of wall.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Wall pen is a circle, square, or triangle, as opposed to the current square.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- WIFI has 2 channels per temperature, one for INWR and one for METL. This allows a you to activate/deactivate a single thing with just one
- WIFI pixel.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- QRTZ makes a sound with a frequency relative to it's tmp (exactly the same?) when SPRK'd. Limits (produces no sound outside of this range)
- at 20 (20Hz) and 20000 (20kHz).
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Gravity direction and strength 'sliders'. This way, gravity can be made to go in any direction, in any strength.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Bigger window. Make the window bigger, not the simulation area. This makes more room for more elements, menus, and features in general.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- New 'name:' save search modifier: searches for saves that have the name that follows. Allows regex.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Pen masks: Basically allow the pen to take any shape. Simple bitmap file to store. Scales in steps of 4 to keep proportions.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Deco stamps: Basically stamps that only hold the deco layer. Allows simple 'branding' of any part of any save, as well as 'skins' for saves.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Patterns: Can be loaded for lines and the ctrl + drag rectangle thingy. Repeats the pattern. Allows for grids, dotted lines, etc.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Tabbed navigation: A tab-bar that has the following 'windows'* with the tab names in parenthesis
- Save Registry (Open)
- Browse for Local Save (Browse)
- Stamps (Stamps)
- Simulation area (Home)
- Maybe: IRC (Chat)
- Pen Masks (Masks)
- Punches (Punches)
- Patterns (Patterns)
- Browse for Lua file (Lua)
- * The current buttons are still there, but ultimately just 'redirect' to their respective tabs.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- CRAY - Creation Ray:
- Spews DRAY, when 2 DRAY beams cross, it creates a particle of their ctype, which is from the CRAY's ctype.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Punches: Like masks, but chop out whatever is underneath it, and cut that area (like cut & paste). So, it works much like a cookiecutter.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Arrow key pen/zoom control. Hold down a modifier key (seems as though TPT is running out), and use the arrow keys to move the pen around. If possible, the mouse cursor will dissapear when the modifier key is pressed. Also, a button under the 'Ambient Heat' button to toggle the feature. One press of the modifier key will disable it. Spacebar can be used in this mode for placing an element.
- ********************************************************************************************************
- A 'Mod' button:
- Used in mods. By pressing this button (not a key, but a button), you can disable all of the 'mod' materials and use it as the default TPT. Will not work in mods with engine modifications (obviously).
- ********************************************************************************************************
- Ballistics Gel:
- Recently suggested, I have modified it to make sense with code.
- BGEL element:
- 'solid', <color matters not>, lets particles with a force (calculated by density*speed) of greater than <Idunno> into it, much like how INVS does with pressure, reduces speed of particles inside of it, so that the force goes down and eventually will not penetrate any further. Hence, when you fire a particle at it, it's force can be gauged by how far it goes into the BGEL block.
